Tftc Ben...As this cache is 15 years old ( on the oldest 1000 QLD list )and in a scenic spot , we decided to replace the missing container..
DNF on the 2nd of September. Looked on the messages and got some hints, coming back later
Couldn’t find. Local gave us directions and it wasn’t in it’s usual place apparently.
10/5/2023 Find #6103
SaintsMadHouse and I had escaped for another day of Wednesday Madness.
With the day well under way, we decided to head over to the bayside for a couple more older caches before having to return to where we left my car this morning.
This one was a quick grab. The log sheets were all stuffed inside, so we replaced log with a fresh one.
Thanks for the cache ben....

We looked on the wrong side of the road for about 10 minutes but eventually found it
We signed ghost (me) and my family members and some drawings. It was hard to find but we found a picture and found it!
Not too many days left of the school holidays, coupled with trying to minimise the amount of time the turmoils have their eyes glued to a screen, meant a trip out to Wellington point for a look around. Of course that means grabbing a few caches along the way. My compromise now is that when we go somewhere, we look for 10. Don't have to find 10, but need to stop for 10. That way I feel like I have doubled the reason for the double petrol costs of late.
On a trip to the south side to drop the geo wife off for a visit with friends.
Had a few hours to kill and what better way to do so.
Found this cache quickly.
Cheers

Out visiting friends. Stopped for a cache on way to find a place for kids and dog to play. needs some maintenance. TFTC
Happy to take this dinner off for us a lot easier after 12 months of geocaching! Thanks so much for placing
Was a bit confused as the GPS said it was in the middle of the road lol. Forgot to bring a pen so put a tiby rock in instead.
Easy peasy.. watch the traffic. You'd better park on the side where you see the Australian flag
Nice easy find but the cache was quite rusty and has no lid, should be replaced
Cache in need of some TLC, I suspect so many easy finds have done a number on the lid's hinge.

Looked whilst we were here from the UK two years ago so the find is a good way to celebrate our return
Map was off, said we should be looking in the middle of the road. Spent a minute on one side before my partner went and found it on the other! Tftc

Well, set out today to meet some friends who have heard of Geocaching and wanted to see what it was. Met for a drink and scone and had a chat first.
Then on to grab a few to see if it is something they might be interested in.
Cache 5 for the day.
On the way out to the point, grabbed this one on the way. Nice places this hobby takes us to.
