The wind and sun drowned the coastline
A dog pranced
Waves roared
And we found a headless bird in the bushes

### **MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention as there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log. It leads one to the contention that the cache container is no longer weather proof. Therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
A basic tenet of geocaching is that **the cache log needs to be signed to record a find,** see here: [Logging of All Physical Geocaches](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging). At the moment this would seem to be extremely difficult if not impossible to meet that requirement in regard to this cache.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; ***"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."*** see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance ) and here's how; [Temporarily Disable and Enable,](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) also check out this Blog: [Helpful Tips To Keep In Mind As A Geocache Owner.](http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/)
Please respond to this situation by **13th September** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Had another crack at this one inspire by the previous finder and success. Log very wet couldn't sign!
Found it! Yes very nicely "perched". Log wet, very soggy needs a new book. Tftc
I grew up not far from Bridgewater Bay so I thought I might have an advantage with this one...no such luck! Think it would be easier if it was put back on it's pole?
Found this one yesterday but I forgot to log it. Unfortunately I couldn't write in the physical log because it was wet
Found with eagle eye tassie expat. Took a while and we were about to retrace our steps for another approach when we spotted it. Log needs attention and we couldn't sign it but took a photo for verification to CI. Tftc
Out with frmen1 to celebrate Australia Day with some geocaching...any excuse really lol This took some searching/thinking. Log very wet. We have a photo if CO wants confirmation of find. Should not have been wearing shorts...legs are sporting quite a few scratches now. TFTC
A couple of us looked for about 15 minutes and couldn't find a pole, let alone a cache.
Thanks anyway pwags
Thanks anyway pwags
Came to the area on a big southwester day. Sand flying, sea roaring, my party of 7 blown this way and that. Followed path and was slowly closing on gz. Then realized you have to make a change of approach. Some of the party straggling and the youngest, a 7 year old, pounced. Good camo, most amusing and good fun overall. Thanks
found it. This one took some time, we spend too much time looking for the post which obviously is not there anymore. But we didn't give up and found it in the end. Great location , We will come back another time to find the others. Tftc
This one had us going for a while. Nice one! Not what I was expecting. Found with Jimmytherat on a beautiful Blairgowrie morning. TFTC
TFTC pwags. A lovely spot for a cache. Took a while to find but found it we did in a blowy day. With Noelle04.
Had a quik crack at this one with no luck coords different to the hint
Was working on a local building site but will be back as the beach is awesome

What a glorious morning to go out on a little geo run while spending the weekend down the peninsula for a friends birthday. While everyone one was sleeping in a small group rolled down to the beach for a bit of rock pooling. Given the cache was close by to stairs down it wasn't too hard to convince the others caching is fun and to detour a couple of hundred metres to make a find. The view of the coast from the cache was breathtaking and all involved where extremely happy caching bought them to this spot. Nice hide. Tftc tnln sl
With the kids at work and at netball camp, we decided to go for s walk along the cliffs, starting at koonya to Bridgewater bay and back. We picked up this one before taking the inland track back. Ocean was fairly wild today. Thanks pwags for a cool cache, bwbandit
A very interesting cache. Quite unnormal, which was nice. It does need some maintenance, though. The was no pole in the ground, as mentioned by the hint and the logbook has unfortunately disintegrated, so we couldn't sign it. Tftc.
A while back Ikkibrady and I decided to try and complete the D/T matrix, not having completed the same previous caches I had many boxes left to fill in order to catch him and so I set off today to try and find a few. This cache was quite close to home so I jumped in the car and reached the carpark in no time. After a beautiful scenic walk to the GZ I spotted something that looked a bit bizzare so i picked it up and had a look but there was no cache attached which was confusing. However as i look around the area I discovered what was wrong, the cache container had fallen of and the lid was the only bit hanging. I quickly signed the log, tried my best to make sure the container wouldnt fall apart again and started the trek back to the car. Thanks for the hunt pwags
Found on 7th July 2012 with Flukey71, but had forgotten to log it. Geocaching in the area again today so just realised. I remembered the description and the hunt.
Found this one more by luck than judgement after widening our search area. Cache looked as if it had been just thrown into the brush. Re-hid container at knee height at the correct co-ordinates. TFTC
cool cache spent 20 mins looking wrong area but stumbled on it whilst in the midst of giving up!!
Once I found myself trampling over the fragile native vegetation, I called it a day. Cache is probably still there.
Found this cache while on a family weekend away. We took the kids, all five of them, to the beach this morning. After a quick jump in the waves and a climb around the rocks, we headed off along the Peninsula Coastal Walk to find the cache. Geonephew who has never cached before came with us. We searched for quite a while till Geonephew pointed to something and said "is that it". He was excited, he had found his first cache. Very interesting container. Geohusband went to replace the log book and fell head first into the bushes. What a funny sight.

Good hide took a while to find but then just came across it needs a new log book, this ones soaked... Tftc
Found with BorisB&Natasha on a most enjoyable day out caching. Certainly a bizarre container. TFTC
This is the second time we have looked for this with Pea bear. Last time was blowing a gale and we got sandblasted so gave up fairly quickly. Today we virtually walked straight up to it. Strange little thing we found. SL & took in the views on the way to the next one. Thanks pwags for the cache & bringing us here.
Nearly gave up on this but found with last effort. Actually found an old log loose on the ground and was about to post that it needed maintenance before seeing the actual cache.
Thanks - enjoyed this one.
Thanks - enjoyed this one.
Any longer and I'd of been sunburnt - last day of work out geocaching - #14 4ESCCHC
Had heaps of fun trying to find this one. Loved the disguised cache - very inventive! Was geocaching with the whole family and my 8 year old daughter loved the silk rose. Thanks to the previous geocacher for that one. Was a great walk and great fun. Tftc.
Also I know it was only a log book with no swaps but I couldn't help myself and left a small silk rose inside for the next person who finds it. enjoy
Out with a set of fresh batteries and by myself. I tired to get to this one the other day, but I didn't even manage to find the entrance to the walking track. Today I can't believe how easy it was . It was a pleasant walk again along a wonderful coast line. At GZ, it took a little searching, but eventually I found something bizarre .
Extracted the log book, signed and enjoyed the rest of my walk.
Thanks

Gorgeous views. Luckily the weather was average so no muggles about as we scrambled around looking for this cache. TFTC.
Number 101 cache found!!! Thankyou for the great walk and taking us to this view!
2nd one of urs today, very clever hide!!! We should have trusted the GPS the cords were perfect!!!

Well we got close to this one and thought No way.........
What is it like to look for a needle in a hay stack this would have to be close to that
Decided that we could not use geo sense
so followed the gps instead
got to GZ and told everyone this is it, it is here
but nothing fit the clue
looking like it was going to be a DNF
and then there it was the bizarre little thing
sl tftc
thanks for the spot on coordinates

#53 3rd out of 4 and was definitely bizarre. Beautiful view and a very creative geocache. Loved it! TFTC pwags
Found @1100 #1212
Was on a caching run with best mate Ahomburg, with today's target being the Point Nepean region. This was the 3rd of 13 found.
Great spot for a cache and enjoyed the views, but the hunt took a bit longer. Spent probably 15mins searching before finally ahomburg made the find. I was so close... A clever hide and indeed bizarre.

Find # 1474
Well, despite the inclement weather promised for today, I decided to head out to the Blairgowrie, Portsea, Sorrento and Port Nepean area with my caching partner in crime sedgwickdave.
Another great spot for a cache, after a shortish search at GZ we had the cache in hand.
Thanks to pwags for the Cache. TNLN.

YAY! found this cache after a long hunt with my new geocaching friend Jacuqes, we both enjoyed a good hunt for it, and about an hour later finally found it!
wasnt an easy find, but worth every second. =)

Found this unique cache on a windy Australia Day holiday - nice hike through sand dunes and brilliant view in any weather - TFTC
As soon as I arrived at GZ, I realised I'd been to this cache previously without success. Today, after 20 minutes or so, I thought it would end the same way, but I eventually spotted something odd. The clue doesn't help. Perhaps it did originally, but now it's just misleading although the co-ords seemed spot on.
Thanks pwags. Clever cache and great location. Perhaps the hint should be updated.

Only had a short time to look for this- phone ran out of battery just as we got to the last fencepost so we didn't have much help to find it! Oh well, just another cache we'll have to come back to another day. <3
Doody's first Cache, his first crack (or should we say quack?) at finding a cache right in his back door step.
I had a nice walk along the coastal track to the point where I had to head up to GZ. Great views of the coastline along the way and from GZ. Short look around and the interesting hide was spotted.
Thanks for the hide pwags.

Great cache, loved the unique idea! Took a little searching as it seemed a little off path. TFTC!
It was my job to take beta female and a muggle friend out caching this afternoon, and this was our first stop. A short walk from the car park and off into the dunes to search for this one... A bit of a struggle, checked the hint, but still nothing that seemed right.
Then beta female asked a curious 'What's this?' and the appropriately bizarre cache was found – although not in place as it should have been. So we signed the log, admired the work, and returned it more appropriately... TFTC – Great to see something out of the usual.
I'll provide a favourite point here to reflect the entire series and the idea behind it - not to mention this great back beach.

Found easily on a beautiful day for a walk. Not sure if this is exactly how it was intended to be stashed, but as the co-ordinates took us straight to it we left it as it was. Signed the log. TFTC
2.45pm Nice little stroll through the dunes and indeed a bizarre ending! Log book is chockers full, needs to be replaced. TFTC

what a great caching day! the sun is out, not a cloud in the sky, and while hiding my first cache out back here there was barely any wind =) so we decided to find the 2 bizarre caches, coords took us right to gz and had the 'object' in hand shortly after, TFTC
It was such a lovely day today that we thought that we had to go find some of the back beach caches so we decided to do the bizarre series. Was great fun quite enjoyed the object at this one. TFTC
Last find of the series, pretty easy find so wasn't long before cache was in hand. A great walk had by all members of the geofamily, enjoyed some lovely views and had some good conversation. SLTFTC. a special "hats off" to the geokids who broke their record and did an 11km hike without any complaint, Well Done Girls xx
Took a while to fine but it was worth the find, its an amazing view and a really interesting cache
Know why an attempt at sunset with the dog over summer failed - nice location love the cache.

Set out to see the sunset (and find the cache). Got within 40m according to the GPS monitor and all 8 satellites vanished off the screen - they must have all been behind the hill Watched the beautiful sunset and got back on the track before it got too dark. We are down nearby quite often so will visit again soon. TFTSunset
Great hide love the "bizarre" part. Great views thought we could drive round to the next 2 on this trilogy but you have to continue along the cliff path.
