I think this one needs some attention... Fontaynes hasnt been active since 2009 & alot of DNF's... With no maintance.
Its a shame because this is a good spot for a cache.

Looked under, over, left, right and every other direction possible and still we could not find it. The only positive outcome is that we got drenched like rats and the canal being full of water didn't make us any dryer.
Not able to find had a really good look may have been muggled found a handmade pipe with tape that was empty
sorry we found this one a year ago, but forgot to log, re visited today and confirmed, tftc
11/12/12 1:39 PM. Disappointed to have a DNF here after the long walk from "Wintergreen". Looked in all the troll spots, especially at the end where my GPSr was indicating 0m.
Looked all around the pretty straight forward location, nothing to be found. Thanks anyway.
Stopped by here this arvo, looked for a while, but unfortunately a DNF
Will come back, next time NOT on peak hour!

Walked over from Howdy Doody. Snuck around a road crew setting up near the entryway. Mr Gaztek got to be the jumper-downer today and he soon spotted the cache. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Dropping a campervan off in the area, so decided to looki for a couple of geocaches before catching the train back. Found this easily enough. TFTC
I went for an evening walk while staying not too far away. The area was muggle free so I had no problems with the search or the find. Bonus was finding a trackable that wasn't logged into the cache. I'll try to sort that out as soon as I can. TFTC, Biggles.
Well I did not expect to find any caches in this dreary land of warehouses and car dealerships! I only checked on the off chance yet there you are, and so close to work, too.
Thanks for livening up one lunch break for me.
PS. Not sure why it's flagged as needing maintenance. Other than the scrappy bit of paper it's still very much alive and well.

TFTC! A very nice little oasis nestled between some massive big box retail structures.
This was our highlight cache for the weekend.
We enjoyed the puzzle of trying to find access to GZ and then the walk along the cannel down to howdy doody.
It was raining as we went adding to the atmosphere and the creek was flowing well.
Just enough foot room to make a find.
Somewhere I have a map that shows this location as a creek rather than canal. If I can locate it I will post a segment.

Easy find. I see mr. Harvey has made life difficult by fencing off this little park though.
Came this way for a stroll while out visiting nearby and in sydney for the night.I like the troll outlook thanks.Had to use back gate to reach GZ.
Nice quiet spot in an otherwise pretty busy area. Needs a new log as the current one is pretty full. TFTC
It was so close when I parked the car outside the motor bike dealer. How do I get there. My first attempt was I found a path that extended to O'Riordan St and stopped. Ran across the road an resumed the search.
It's just there but walked to the end of the car park to find an access point. Nice easy find once you got on the that pathway.
Took the short cut back to the car along the drain for a bit of fun which saved crossing O'Riordan St.

Did this one late at night. Very lonely place. Nice place for a cache, lots of spiders and mozies out. TFTC.
Came past this cache in an effort to walk off breakfast which was delicious. (Sonoma Bakery Cafe). Didn't have a pen with us so couldn't sign log. Hope it still counts. TFTC.
Found in almost the first place I looked.. a quiet little alcove here and great to see some native flora.. Thanks Fontaynes for bringing me to this little hidden gem.. find #1623
Luckily found a parking spot on the busy street right next to the only-slightly ajar open gate (which I wouldn’t have noticed if I’d tackled the shopping complex carpark). GPS out about 8m (probably due to low battery signal) but after finding nothing in the obvious spots, tried from a different angle for confirmation of GZ. Took Aussie Flag geocoin as small enough for the multitude of micros I seem to doing lately.
Quick interesting find. Being from the west, I haven't done any caches in Sydney itself. Thought I would snatch this one as I had time, waiting for family to fly in. TFTC
Had to use the 'alternative' entry as suggested. Thanks for that.

Nice easy find in the dark. I would recommend, don't park in Domayne as when I was coming back to my car the security guy flipped out a bit wanting to know what I was doing and why I was there. Probably a good daytime cache when there is no security around. TFTC. Good drive by.
Reperio at 2115. Stopped by here just after closing time, but still managed to get to GZ and locate the cache...just as the rain came down.
Gratias.

I did not think that this would quite need the level of gymnastics I had to resort to, but there you go.

Found with TassieGirl while on holidays in the area.
We'd just been across the road at the filming of Top Gear Aust.
After the show we went for a little walk to see all the flash cars for sale and grabbed this one.
Found it no worries, it's a nice little spot in here.

I was trolling around early in the morning and came upon this cache. Love it. Left calling card. TFTC.
I am staying in Mascot for the week for work, and couldn’t resist grabbing a couple of caches not to far away from my motel. Opened the gate from the main road and headed towards GZ. The GPS was a bit jumpy but looked in the obvious place and came up with the goods. Nice to see that the water from yesterday’s deluge had gone away! Nice one Fontaynes – Thanks from Kyogle NSW
w8in' for son to arrive at airport. May as well fill in time.

Sadly, after dropping Savoy Truffle at the airport to go home to Germany, The Arkaroo is caching alone again. Thought, I must seek for travel bugs, as I ran out of them and just to keep them moving with my upcoming travel. So, the Domayn is the one to go! Probably drove though that main road each second time I go to the city and may have stopped here or there, but I never expected a tiny public park with a channel and good bush. Almost a relaxing place in this so busy area! I drove straight away into the car park, not knowing ahead that there is Domayn. Saturday was not that busy, so easily a slot just opposite the cache. Quickly realized, it's better to walk around rather than to climb down and attract my attention of the people here and there. Hesitated with that closed gate, however, it was not locked and the trace on the floor indicates that it is altered quite frequently. Good - had a nice little park all for me alone! GPS was pointing into the painted brick wall opposite and needed to find the hint, however, by that time, the GPS settled already to the right position and it was an easy find. Bit tired, and thirsty, The Arkaroo retreated into a shady place underneath the bridge to unpack and perform all the transactions!
While unpacking, I spotted that flattened micro-pencil and thought 'oh, the cacher made a really micro writing device', before I discovered it was actually a geocoin! Good idea - I like that one!
Took my time, some photos and just relaxed a bit more in the shade - comfortably leaned against the wall of the channel. One even can hear birds singing here. All these native austalian plants they put in the park is looking very nice!
Unpacked my Travel Bugs and visited them at this magic spot:
* Crailling (TB1BCAK)
* Celtic Treasure (TB3G1HV)
And retrieved the Geo Coin:
* Bring Your Own Pencil (TB3H8HP)

I logged a DNF on this in May last year. Now, almost nine months later, I've finally had another go. This time I took a proper look! TFTC

Very Clever Cache! Since it's New Years Day there was 0 Muggle activity but the gate at GZ was closed (not locked).
I didn't know if I was allowed to go in but after 5min of chickening out I just opened the gate enough so I could get in with my bike.
The cache was an easy find but heaps fun. The hint makes it extremely obvious! TFTC

Find # 1594 @ 08:55
At first it looked like it was private property with the gate closed (but not locked) but then I spotted the likely hide. A short walk and I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks Fontaynes!

Grabbed this one on the way to the airport. I was a bit tight for time, but took the opportunity anyway. Nice easy find. No muggles in sight late on a Sunday afternoon.
Great way to spend an hour or 2 waiting for the car to be serviced ..... accessed GZ the hard way through the car park and the back gate ..... a bit of acrobatics and the cache quickly in hand. Great little spot, and strolled out the easy way!!!

A nice easy find this time, thanks.

Not many shoppers about early so grabbed a good car spot.Quick find and enjoyed the secluded walkway. Thanks to the Fontaynes.
Too good a day to catch the train from the airport station, so walked to Green Square instead. Found this one in a neat little park on the way. Thanks.
Was enjoying the luxury of a bank holiday today, albeit tempered by having to trek over this way to re-collect a duff laptop. Still: "when in Rome", I thought, noticing there was one nearby cache that was now back on-line, so I decided to detour on the way home to find it!
Getting close to GZ was a pain, as there's no on-street parking nearby during business hours. So, I found the car park entrance to the cache's namesake, parked, and headed for the 'secret' gate in the bushes at the far end of the car park (as the street gates were locked). Fortunately I didn't have to get my feet wet(!), and signed the log in the 'troll' position before replacing the hide.
TFTC Fontaynes! TNLNSL.

We did our best to explane and eventually he agreed to let us jump down to the bridge
good coordinants and easy find
