Opportunistic pick up on the way back from finishing Workout 201. The kangaroo guardians moved on thankfully so we could make the find in peace, under the full moon and the aura of the city lights in the middle distance. All good with the cache. Thanks for the reason to wander SecretSquirrel-BJC and Captain Tomato . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. My first find back in Canberra, had a lazy afternoon in and around the area so decided to find some nearby caches and kill some time. This one drew me in as it fills a spot in my jasmer grid, so after a quick drive and just a quick walk to GZ the cache was soon found. All is in good condition, thanks!
First cache back after a two day hiatus Seemed a glorious day to go for a wee stroll up Urambi and this was the first target on the list. Delightful views from this spot! Plenty of cockatoos and magpies out and about as well, glorious stuff. Thanks!
Nice to have a clean log to sign.
Lovely day for a walk with Contesta. Worried it was going to be chilly but a perfect day.
Thanks for getting me out and about Captain Tomato

Find # 8881
Out with Joolay for a Sunday stroll in Urambi Hills
That was well fun
This was a quick and easy find and ️ here at Sally's Run GZ today. Nice new log and container. First to sign.
Thanks so much for the cache Captain Tomato and of course for getting me out and about and enjoying this area too

The container is cracked on top so the contents are wet. But really enjoyed finding it (this was my first one)
TFTC. Nice easy find after work. Unfortunately it had been left uncovered and was very wet. I couldn’t sign it, maybe next time.
#742 The next find today whilst caching in the area. We ventured on a bit further to come and get this one before heading back towards the vehicle. Found it on approach as it had been left with no cover so after signing it and returning it to its resting place we put a nearby rock that locked to be it’s original cover back on top. Thanks for the hide and maintenance over the years, cheers
#2651 In the area for a cache or two, a short stroll up the hill and this cache was soon in hand. Whilst slightly protected it had been left with no actual concealment, so after replacing covered it with a protective rock. TFTC.
The view from up here is amazing. And it is very windy up here but damn it’s nice up here.
A quick find while in the area with the geopup. We had to wait for multiple groups of muggles to pass by. TFTH
Out of all the places I visit, if you take me to overlook a valley I feel very whole and happy. Tftc here
With a family visit on the cards this weekend an ACT geo was high on the list. My geo sis has been in Canberra for almost 30 years and today was the first one found here in that time. Thanks for putting on a nice day for my walk Canberra.
Very wet log book seems to be drying a little and putting my mark on the book was easy.

Container was half full of water and the log is very wet. Managed to sign but some waterproofing and a new log might be good.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Came to this one through the cattle and a fence climb - no need!! Beware of the resident Redback here - TFTC
Our second find today! Picturesque views lovely scenery. A nice little walk to the cache and not many muggles around. The sun is still high in the sky at 5 o clock now, signs that summer is coming. Cache was well maintained but a little wet inside. Loved finding this, TFTC Really nice spot but we are missing a M today. Beautiful views of the mountains. TFTC
Great to see this 2008 cache still active! So close to the track but looks like it has never gone missing in it's entire life, and only had 1 maintenance, how awesome!
However it's next maintenance is definitely about to be due. The lid of the container is cracked, and it was slightly damp inside, however the log itself is still bone dry for now thanks to the plastic baggie it was in. It will be OK for now, but definitely needs another 6 year extension to it's life with a fresh container
Thanks SSBJC and CT for this cache!

After a futile attempt at a nearby long unfound multi, and despite the fact that it started raining 5 minutes ago and I still have a few hundred metres back to the car, I stopped to take a look for this cache. I was literally walking straight past so it would be silly not to at least look!
Happily it was an easy find, so a quick squiggle in the log and I was back on my way. Being very dark I couldn't appreciate the view, but I will trust you that it is very picturesque. In daylight.
TFTFC, SecretSquirrel-BJC for the placement and Captain Tomato for the maintenance.

It was alot of fun, I took my dog and friends there and we had a great time.
A nice quick find and detour from my ultimately unsuccessful attempt to find red and white tubes around the place. TFTC Capt Tom
Finally starting the training, on a very blowy day, for treking in Italy unfortunately postponed but the walking not. TFTC.
Couldn't look too long with little ones and cold wind. Will come back. Lovely view
it took me and my family a bit longer to find it then expected but it was a lot of fun
Found with @jakeyybakeyy but forgot to bring a pen along have to go back sometime.
A long day caching in Canberra that started with a park run at Lake Tuggeranong, some caches in the lake area and then a move all over Canberra to end up at the event at the southern cross club. Lots and lots of walking and even more hills, but that's no surprise in Canberra. Secretly I actually like the hills and the views that come with it. Only a few DNF's today, my bad and all caches were in good condition! Thanks to all the owners for placing them. Great views.

This morning I got up & headed to the hills for a long overdue walk. Urambi is nice & close to home & a few caches dotted around make for some caching as well.
After collecting the caches across the top of the hills, I made my way back to this one via a path of less resistance to finish off the local trads. Quick find & then back to the car for a hit of coffee which was still warm in my travel mug. TFTC!

Was not able to find anything underneath all the rocks. Quite disappointed with myself
Usually I do my caching on weekends, but with these nice long evenings of late I have been taking myself out a bit more often.
Last monday I went for a bit of a cross-country cycle around Urambi and hunted a couple of caches on the side. This was the first. It's really a nice place, here on the edge of the city. TFTC.

The start of my loop around the Urambi hills. Cache found quickly with the local firefighters just down the road (nothing happening).
Thanks
Thanks
Drizzly day, and still a gorgeous spot to visit! Found very quickly which the kids loved. They felt like real detectives!
Thanks for the cache. Made a nice quick find while out riding around the area.

After completing the nearby Workout 201 multi, I grabbed this one as I passed on my way back to the car. TFTC

I had been muggled out of this one last time I was in the area and I thought I would chance this one before the rain today. With thunder and clouds above my head I made a quick find and sign.
I start thinking as I look up at the darkening sky, "now... do I walk and extra km to the next one? Will I make it in time?"
A massive boom from above!
Is this the Cache Gods saying “Forget about it”!
Then a lightening strike in the distance.
Who am I to argue with a God?! I’m outta here. Tftc!!!

Short walk up from the car along the trail where the cache was easily found once at GZ. Enjoyed the fact there was a convenient seat, a nice location to sit and enjoy the views. Thanks for the cache!
Took to the hills Southside again, the last night working late offsite. A quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
