Accio 14:20:08Down to Melbourne to escort my mum to hospital - giving me significant free time for a couple of days. What to do? LGA hunting my primary goal, a quick stop here. A Big fan of all the emergency services teams all over everywhere. Thanks Vombatus for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12897}*
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Signed the wet cache note, which is the only thing in the cache container.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Wet took a bit to find this one as well today, cache found none the less. Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Did not find. Looked at other reviews to get some sort of clue. Considering its apparently waterlogged, it isnt worth the visit. A lot of rubbish everywhere. Kinda sketchy. Goodluck to whom tries !! Needs maintenance!!!
2nd find, found it but it was water logged, I was confused for a little bit but great spot
Our GPS woes continue, but theough maps and landmarks and geosenses we managed to find GZ. Unfortunately it is water logged and we couldn't see a log book. Definitely the cache though as the "this is a geocache and not rubbish" note was still there (although also soaked). Thanks for the cache.
Decided to do some night time geocaching with the geofam. Tried to find this one a while ago but the grass was completlely overgrown. Found it quickly this time though! Unfortunately the log was completely saturated so we couldn't sign it. The case has been damaged so water is getting in.
Found with Dot558Signed cover As log saturated and the cache requires replacingBut thanks for being part of the cfa caches
The cache container was broken may be due to animals near by. As friendly geocachers I have out this in a Taco Bell cup. The logbook may be a bit wet.
Looks like an animal got in and got whatever stinky perishable item was in there that other cachers found.
Found, I think? But looks like its been torn apart maybe by an animal to eat whatever gross was in there
Found but something perishable has been put in there too and is mouldy and stinky
A friend and I had a good hunt around but we could not find this one. Perhaps the long grass mass grown over it..?
Struggled here, driving around area checking out some fishing spots and scooping up some caches i have been eyeing for a while. But once got to the GZ the GPS was jumping around all over the place (I think overhead cables were affecting it) and just couldn't narrow down the exact area. Everything seemed to be 7m away the whole time!! Will be back!
For the whole working day I had been working hard trying to solve the Brain puzzles in the area. I wanted to complete them all, so they would be the target of my after work geocaching run. However after only completing 1, I needed a new plan. As such I thought I'd try and fix a number of DNFs.
With the sun shining and no clouds on the horizon, my plan was a go. Not the nicest area with too much rubbish and long grass.
Thanks for the cache Vombatus

Out and about with Echidna44 on a cold, dull, wet day, we were targeting caches around Carrum Downs. After traveling down a mysterious dirt road, this cleverly hidden cache was found after a short search.
Out with a geo-buddy, we passed all the help we could ever need. A quick find, thanks Vombatus.
Found it , no problems out here today. All in good order, I did need the Mailkid's smaller hands to retrieve. Tftc
Great cache. Luckily no rubbish around but long and wet grass. But that adds to the adventure.
The cache itself is the same as when it was placed. Unfortunately it has become a location for illegal dumping of rubbish. I do not intend to clean up others rubbish, nor do I intend archiving a 15 year old cache. The cache is just a little more challenging. Good luck and be tough.
At last, I found it. What a grubby place, why are people so keen to drive somewhere to get rid of rubbish? Anyhow, a long and uncomfortable look got me the reward in the end, so thanks. I needed a find in Frankston LGA and I hope this is.
#starzjeepcrew (USA) AND #glitterbel76 found it. Star had her geosenses and found it immediately.
Added a few fun things for the kiddies.
Nice summers day to do a spot of geocaching.
Tftc!!!!

Couldn’t find it it too make long grass does anyone know where it is help? msg me
I wasn't comfortable at this location so I decided not to stick my hand into the grass.
Work arranged itself rather nicely this week giving me a period of six days off. I spent a bit of time working out which direction i wanted to head for caching fun and decided to have another go at Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs. I then took quite a while coming up with a list of caches to target, there are just so many possibilities! I packed, had accommodation sorted, and even had a muggle caching buddy lined up to do the driving. Perfect! Too perfect... . Plans changed at the last minute and i came down to the city solo and without the accommodation option. I wasnt sure if i would keep the rest of the plan or head for the hills instead. Time will tell.
Not today, i searched high and wide and low but i think i am a bit out of sorts so no luck.

Took a little while this one to find, GPS is a little out . Like this one Thanks Vombatus ️
Looks like a popular rubbish dumping ground but after a quick search I spotted something that looked likely and sure enough! Not the most glamorous angle of Eastlink, so let's see how we go at the next one!
It was all quiet near GZ when we started our search. The major problem was the amount of garbage strewn around the area - this certainly does not provide any incentive to search. However after any initial cursory search I spotted something that could be promising and on investigation the container and log were discovered. Thanks to Vombatus for the c ache.
Last one of the day and this oldie was on my way to Eastlink. Interesting drive to get here, almost looks like there is no road but drove on and around the bend and the road opened up. Parked close to GZ and started hunting and had the cache in hand very quickly. Unlike others I found the coords to be good and great to find a good sized cache. Left my mark and then drove off! Thanks to Vombatus for this one
Tricky find, look through the comments to help you find it. It's slightly south of marker
Rather typical of me not to log until a week after the find. After leaving an Adventure Lab waypoint, I made a stop over here. A lot less odour over here anyway. A clay target shooting club must be close by as I could hear the pops. First area I looked in didn't seem promising. I had parked within 5 metres of the cache and there were only limited places it could be. I went to check another spot, which seemed unlikely but came across something. Although I couldn't move it, I could get inside it and found a log book, which confirmed it was a cache and was all I needed, so I signed. Once the grasses were aside, the lid could be replaced.
Thanks for placing this Vombatus.

Took 20min but finally found it! Great spot, almost thought I'd give up. Trampled a lot of area. Log book almost full up. Tftc!
Out and about caching with Brainiac03 today, with showers reported to be ongoing throughout the day we both knew that we had to dodge the showers when we could and over all smash out some of the drips and drabs of caches we had to do in the area.
With an early start we were eventually rained out, well more so the showers because largely annoying so we called the day early. All in all a great day out, thanks for the cache.

With Mrs One-eye on first day out of 5kms lockdown spent an afternoon caching within the 10kms from home tfyc well designed from one-eyed
Thank you PaPa. Great cache. Interesting spot and a fun find came with Melscrubbingin
Good day for it. Found with teachnpeeps. Clever spot and no muggles to be seen. Thanks for the cache. Stay hip & with it.
I had a pretty heavy day ahead of me and needed a smile... swung off the freeway to collect a cache I had been saving for a while. An interesting road to nowhere and absolutely no muggles about .. no training at the CFA today .. the coords were spot on today and I uncovered a well disguised cache quickly .. I don’t think muggles would give it a second glance.. well done Vombatus and thanks for hiding the cache.
Could not find a container, unless the container I found was the CFA trying to be funny
Awesome! Only found it cause I’ve done one similar before haha. Phew! Very cool!
After an unsuccessful hunt for this one a while ago, I decided to swing past and have another look. A little outside the box thinking led me pretty quickly to the cache this time. All in good condition, tftc!
My first cache for the day. I was poking about for a while until I widened my search and found the cache. Great concealment, thank you Vombatus. Took TB.
Quick easy find with a TB left behind for the next finder, great little place to stop. TFTC
This one had me stumped for a little while but an extended search over the fence soon ensued and that didn’t help either.
So I went back to my GPS GZ and conducted a detailed search.
Soon found this one buried under some long grass on the fence line. So I didn’t need to venture through the barb wire fence like I initially did in my hunt. It can be reached from the “friendly” side of the fence.
I’m actually surprised it’s in such good condition given it’s age, and the recent addition of the new log book by OSHFAM has ensured this one stays in the game a while longer.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 4 TB.
TFTC.

Early morning cache hunting before it gets to hot. No room to sign in log book to this will have to do TYFTC
I'm working on my 365 finds for everyday of the year filling in all the empty boxes in my grid. Tonight my kids had to stay behind at school and assist with school tour duties. After it finished I picked them up and we drove the short distance to GZ.
At GZ I found a rather overgrown long grassed area in which I wasn't quite appropriately dressed for wearing my open toe sandals. That didn't stop me and after a short search, the cache was found. Nicely done here. I didn't realise it was a 2008 vintage until I wrote my log.
The cache is in good condition. The logbook is totally full and others had written on the back cover to squeeze their names in. Luckily I carry spares of everything and I put in a clean fresh logbook and gave it all a nice new protective plastic bag to keep this one going for a long time.
As we drove away, there was a magnificent blood red sky which quickly turned to burnt orange as the sun was setting before us. The clouds were formed in interesting formations. It was such a lovely sight.
Thank you for the cache here Vombatus

Disappointed to be logging this as a DNF. We gave it a red hot go with two adults and 2 out of 4 geokids hunting. Must be good camo!! We’ll be back.
Long grass doesn't mix well with thongs and shorts. Half heartedly poked around for 10 mins before giving up, in favour of not getting bit by snakes.
