Another very clever cache close to where we were staying at the Bathurst Showgrounds. It did not take me too long to work out where it was hidden. Great spot for a cache.
Had some help with the hints in previous logs. Quick find and brilliantly hidden. Log is running out of space and a bit water damaged so could use replacement.
Great find! Lots of muggles around beware! Definitely had to Cee the cafe next door.
Found after a hint from a previous finder. Probably wouldn’t have found it otherwise. Thanks
Found while doing the nearby AL. Excellent camo, but log was too wet to sign. Fave point for the great container.
Sneaky hide, loved it. Very quiet along the way here. Found after a lovely lunch at the nearby cafe.
What a sneaky hide! Definitely camouflaged! You can ‘c it in the centre’ good luck everyone! Tftc
Out for a weekend with irol_22. We came past this little one while stopping for a coffee. Great camo. Tftc
Quick and easy find with Roomar_S while on a work trip. Recommend going in to the ‘I’ and having a chat with Kyle next door and a bite to eat at the Harvest cafe. TFTC!
Second time here for AceAl and teamuss, less people this time and got the find. Tftgc
Found while caching with WaywardWoman. Log soggy, added small small piece of card. TFTC
Nice quick find, and very cool camo. Log was too wet to sign but took picture. TFTC:)
Third times a charm. Look at the larger site and saw something wasn’t quite right and bam! Such a good camo. TFTC a FP from us.
A quick find by MrMinion but the log was wet, managed an mm . Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Had a look through the visitors center and had a soup with coffee at the coffee shop. Nice hide. Tftc.
Great camo!
I my attempt at a nearby cache was thwarted by a school athletics carnival, so I thought this one is nearby so I grabbed it instead

#7199 Last day of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are heading home, leaving Bathurst and heading down south via the AL on Mt Panaorama. Warm clear conditions again today, unlike north of the border
A tricky hide that took a while.
Thanks Team AAA

Soo... I wasn't allowed to cache after a massive day of soccer... until this was the direction we needed to go after dining out. The rest of the crew wanted icecream so I was allowed 1 cache! Quick grab. Great camo. Found with Cristabel.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
Today we went for a wander around the Bathurst CBD, completing the Adventure Lab and collecting numerous other caches along the way. After returning to camp for lunch and a swim we headed out in the late afternoon for some caching in the Raglan area, which turned out to be a bit of a disaster with 4 DNF's in a row and only 1 find - we should have stayed in the pool!. This was the 1st of 15 finds for the day (day 2), and 11th find of the holiday.
This was our first cache stop for the day, and it turned out to be a quicker find than we were expecting, but it was nicely done and blends in well. The log was a bit of a mess (damp & shredded) but we did manage to sign it in the end. TNLN and replaced as found. TFTC Team AAA.

With COVID-19 restrictions eased so that we can travel within our state, fitzy_1965, albida33 and I headed into the Bathurst region for a long-awaited caching weekend away to turn as many DNF's into smilies as possible and collect any unfound caches inbetween.
Last day and time to start heading home. Quick find here to day.....but the paper was a bit damp

Left early this morning to tackle a loop of caches NE of town.

Having arrived in Bathurst today we were quick to get out and find a few caches not to far from where we are staying at the showgrounds. Nice cache and hide. Thanks to Team AAA for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Fav point alloc.
Out and about enjoying the rain today, I have been very unlucky to find any caches. I decided to look for this one on my way home. I saw my opportunity as there were no muggles about. Expecting to walk away with out a find, I took a deep breath and went for it. The coordinates led me straight to the cache at gz and before long the cache was in hand. Congratulations team AAA this was a clever hide. I found one for today, which has made me very happy TFTC Team AAA

A plan was hatched, for a group of Canberra (and one Goulburn) Geocachers to stay overnight in Bathurst on a Saturday night and cache our way there and back - mainly doing some of The Road Less Travelled series, and anything else interesting that we were near. So, on Friday afternoon All7 and I met up with Cosmonaut97, who drove us out to Goulburn where we stayed the night with MinnieK (thanks for the hospitality), and then DarkSideDan arrived in the morning and we crammed all our gear into the back of the Cosmonaut Geomobile, all 5 of us climbed in, and we embarked upon our adventure - and what a fun weekend we had! Lots of laughs, some interesting terrain to drive through, and a whole lot of cache finds - so, sorry - most of these logs will be rather generic ... (and also rather late, because I am only just catching up with all the logging now - oops)
After about 112 caches for the day, we headed in to town to have dinner, and check in to our hotel. I was tired, but not tired enough to sleep over the loud music (maybe not the best choice of hotel for a Saturday night when we wanted to sleep? lol) so ... May as well go find a cache or 2, until it is time to have a shower and crawl into bed when the music stops, or I am tired enough to sleep anyway ... found 4 caches, and didn't find one that nobody else has found lately either (most likely missing), and ended up going to bed a little while before the music stopped, but I didn't get to sleep until it did ... sigh
TFTC - after finding the 3 caches closest to the hotel, it was still not quite late enough at night for the music to stop, or for me to sleep when it hadn't ... So ... even though this was a bit of a walk, and a bit isolated in the dark, I felt like a walk, and this one sounded interesting ... and yes, it was worth the walk here
I did a few circles/in and outs and arounds, in quite a few places, then eventually spotted ... something ... and sure enough - it was the cleverly hidden cache ... I am not surprised it took me a little while to find that in the dark - lol
This ended up being my last find for the day - there was one more that was (sort of) on my way back to the hotel, but it had a who,e string of DNFs, and while I was hoping for the satisfaction of finding something others had not, it would appear that one was, indeed, missing ...

Our gps put us 8m out obviously cause we ended up standing on the grass with nothing nearby. As travelling through no time to waste guessing so on on. Seems it's a town of micros. Tftc
TFTC! Had a fair idea what to look for, it didn't disappoint! I like caches like these where attention to detail to something not quite right is key
Hardest bit was putting it back!

Took us awhile bu geoD made the find in the end; that 'log book' sure needs some owner attention. Now it's time to find some accommodation; hope the school holiday rush hasn't started.
