I'm sorry to say, but this cache is the worst one I have found in my short caching career. The cache is just plonked in a fork in the tree and there is no attempt at camo. On top of that, the logsheets are a soddy mess and there is no way that I could log my visit. this cache has to be either replaced or archived.
Found with TassieGirl while here on holidays.
Another beautiful spot along here.

Cache number 22 for a Marathon cache hunt over the Easter weekend. A busy weekend of Madstars, great views, smelly spots, lovely beaches, high mugggle challenges, bush bashing, rock hopping, wet feet, meeting other cachers. Thanks to all the owners of the Geocachers in this area, you certainly made a great weekend away for the dkmacca team.

Another great spot but bad news for this one the cache has been muggled I tried to put it back together but most of it was missing the log etc you might want to take a look at it but thanks for bring us to this part of the world again
Like wise a great day to be out and about but surprisingly we had GZ all to ourselves and a quick find..

There were a few trees that seemed to fit the description, but it didn't take too long to come across the right one and spot the container. Suprisingly for such a nice day there were few muggles around late morning, I guess the school holiday hordes had yet to arrive. Signed the log and moved on. Thanks MADSTARS, it's a pretty speccy beach.
Reperio at 1725. Have passed by this spot a couple of times, but could never get close enough to search due to muggles sitting nearby. Today we were headed home, and figured we'd have one last look to see if anyone was around. Lucky we did, as there wasn't anyone in sight, so we quickly wandered over to GZ where the cache was soon found. Another great spot for sitting and relaxing.
Gratias.

Even though people were sitting at the picnic table they were too busy reading to even look up at us as the geowife and I looked out to the beach. A quick turn around and grab and sign. The log was a little damp as the bag was sweating a bit. May need some dessicant.
Unusual tree base for sure. Still slogging back to Nelsons Bay from radar Hill LOL

Night caching dash in the middle of a work event. No trouble at gone midnight - certainly no muggles. SL TFTC.
This cache was close by the hotel I stayed at for a very wet weekend. Came for a brief walk between showers of rain.
Thanks MADSTARS.
Thanks MADSTARS.
A muggle artist and her husband were right in front of/ on top of GZ. Better luck next time.
We looked in wrong fire trunk tree for about ten minutes before realising we were in the wrong spot. A very fun find! Tftc.

A Huge thank you to the Bay Pirates for their maintenance of this very very wet cache.
Thank you so much.
I have moved to Victoria and unfortunately have to archive caches when in disrepair.
This cache will be around a lot longer because of your thoughtfulness.
May the cache gods bless you with 100 straight finds without a DNF.

I have placed a new log into a zip lock bag (inside its orginal container).
Old very drenced log didn't fit with new one. (I think its beyond readable).

It would be nice if someone could replace the log and cover it with a plastic bag.
If not I will archive the cache. It is a shame after 135 finds.....
The Geocaching Gods will bless you if you do.....
I think the karma is 100 straight finds????

Found it, great hide but unfortunately the log is so wet you cannot turn the pages let alone write on it. In desperate need of maintenance.
Found on a mammoth day's caching of 124 caches in 17 hours around the Maitland and Port Stephens area with The Rats and FarmerFrentzen.
A quick park and grab in this section of the Bay. TFTC!

Thanks

This was showing as 48m from my cabin in the caravan park. Found with a friend who hadn't been caching before. The log was damp but could still sign it OK.

Waiting for a friend to finish work and opened up my apps on my iphone and thought i will have a little look for any close by caches ( knowing there was!) Not used the app before as i cant go past my garmin..
After we got to GZ my better half made the find, with pen in hand we went to log our visit but logs where to wet. Im going to try to head back this weekend to replace logs if MADSTARS approve.

Just finished breakfast at the resort and checked our apps, its only 180m away so we better get it
I retrieved it with a very large wood huntsmen still clinging to it, needless to say when he brushed my hand the container went a few feet away very quickly i'm normally very good with spiders.
Then realised no pen, would have mattered much anyway as the log papers were pretty much saturated.

Good cache although no swaps didnt get to fill in log book because there was no pen very easy to find (its under somthing)
The youngest shrieking eel found this one while I had a swim. Thanks for keeping her busy for me! Easy find. TFTC
Another easy find after only being prevented from getting the cache previously by muggles setup right on GZ. Quickly grabbed on this muggle free day.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found this earlier in the day, but didn't have a pen, so went back later and signed the log while watching the sunset. Great spot. T4TC
Our final find on our walk from Little Beach to Tomaree Headland. It's been a great morning, now time to refuel with some lunch before our afternoon of caching.
found 7am 12/8/2010 easy find between energetic mugglers trotting along the foreshore TFTC NTNL
We were out today exploring the Port Stephens area and wanted to take a look at the Shoal Bay area. Really nice beach here. We parked a bit away and walked over to see if we could locate this one. It was a nice easy find. Thanks for giving us a cache to look for in this pleasant area.
This is an awesome bay indeed. Last time we were up this way myself and the wife spent plenty of time bobbing around in our boat with a line or two over the side. Anyway TFTC Greg.
Found on a delightful day caching in the area. I leaned on the tree as I replaced the cache - ouch! won't do that again in a hurry! Lovely view from here but.
What a beautiful place. Glad I wasn't looking for this on a warm summers day. The muggles were a problem even on this wet, cold, windy day. Thanks Madstars.
Rated: for Overall Experience
An easy find between showers. There were a few muggles around but we knew exactly where to look and stood admiring the view until the coast was clear.

A Huge Thank you to Headchef and Spikeymikey for checking all my caches 'in the rain' and replacing all the wet logs.
You guys are real cachers; just as concerned for the Hide as for the Find.
Thanks for making my life that little bit easier, its greatly appreciated.
I hope to repay the Caching Karma one day, thank you very much.

Found this on the way to Nelson Bay with Spikeymikey, log was wet so replaced it with a new one, which just seems the logical thing to do, and isn't that hard.

Found by Mary & David at 1015. Took us ages just to find a car park. The lovely sunshine must have prompted every local to come out to the coffee shops to see and be seen. Beautiful views. Our thanks as usual to Madstars.
Just had to have a look as I was walking right past it. The logs were a bit tattered and moist so dreid them out and replaced. Still as good as gold if you don't mind the ragged edges, looks a bit like a pirates treasure map now. Not a bad effect.

No fish and chips available at this hour of day... took a while to find this one even though we were looking in the right spot.
Log was pretty damp, was going to ziplock bag it but it then wouldn't have been able to fit back in the container

After searching around for alittle bit we realised that it was right under our noses. Log is wet. Found with dodgy123. TFTC.
Enjoyed the scenery and found the cache with no problems. The log was wet but managed to sign it, we feel that the container needs to be replaced with something that is water tight.
Quick find and was able to listen in on a suba lesson going on nearby which provided a good cover whilst I extracted and replaced the cache.

#22/25 for the weekend up from Sydney to visit the Bay. I let Geohubby find this one as he missed the last 2 beaut ones at Boat Harbour. An easy find.
It was pretty difficult to find this one, as there were loads of muggles around. it was a really good hiding place,
Stopped by yesterday to check this one out.... Man the Muggles are everywhere...
Every time I tried to reach for the cache I was being looked at... I think I will replace log in a few weeks time when it is safer.
Easy find . Being Saturday on school holidays makes for some serious muggle activity. Shoal Bay..does it get better than this ?
Walked from home to this one....log paper very wet with all the rain - may need replacing. Good hide!
Don't know why I got out of the car GK3 had it found before I found it on the gps
Found on our last caching hit for 2009 (30th - 31st December) in the Nelsons Bay / Central Coast area.
We wish all a happy new year and hope to see you all at the Wagga Mega Event in April 2010.

Kids, seriously this is the last cache for the day, we promises.... Daily total and record of 21! tftc!
This was a bit of a competition between us and loads of muggles who wanted to use the seats very close to the cache on such a great day, so after quite a while we dashed in and retrieved the cache. TNLN, but thanks for the hide. We still can't decide which Madstars location we like the best.
Found this cache while taking a stroll, didn't have a pen so this post will have to do. Nice shady spot. TFTC.
Had a family day, along with ACKC. Well done Madstars, a great cache in a great spot
