Nice little spot you bought us to. Thanks for the new discovery. I'm a local and I didn't know about this place.

With Davinells guiding us and Peppa providing comments from the back seat, we've broken through the border for a day of caching and some events.Cool spot albeit with a little deliverance vibe. Thanks for the cache Chip846

Davinells, Beardman75 and I are cruising the Northern Rivers in the still Chainsawless Pajero, attending 101 events, possibly chasing a sneaky FTF, and generally causing merriment and joy wherever we goTo console our disappointment at having found zero Hemsworths in Byron were collecting some choice caches or quiches, depending on who you ask, on our way homeOnce we weaved our way to GZ, Davinells found the container in a place Id disreguardedThanks Chip846

Peppa, Beardman75 and I have ventured into Northern NSW for a day of caching and events from the hinterland to the beach and everything in between. A really interesting spot that we would have no idea about if not for this cache. Found the cache and had a little swing too. Thanks Chip846Find 6359

Coming back again after a DNF a couple weeks ago. Helps when the council have slashed the paddock. Cache owner was super helpful with msgs after our DNF thank you. So glad we came back, a beautiful spot, and cool swing, we forgot a pen but remembered the bug spray, few mozzies, but worth it. Thanks again

For anyone reading the comments, you don't need to drive down any driveways. Park on the side of the road and walk towards the trebling. There's about 70m between the road and the treeline. Just before the produce stand

Thank you for this scavenger hunt, It was really fun to find it.

Just over 2 months ago I was fit enough to join a group of hiking/geocaching buddies on a multi day walk around the 13 highest peaks of Kosciuszko National Park. Since then I have been pretty well sedentary, sitting on my backside steadily consuming way too much ice cream, chips and soft drinks. When Crookedpete, currently the beacon of healthy living amongst The Bromance, reached out to ask if I wanted to join him on a hike today to visit some waterfalls in northern NSW, I immediately accepted in an effort to halt the rot and put some kilometres in the legs.On the way to our destination we were passing close by this cache so we stopped in for a visit. The neighbour's dog greeted us as soon as we stepped foot out of the car and accompanied us all the way to GZ as we made our way through the long grass. Keeping to the boundary edge we avoided the worst of it but still copped a soaking from the recent rained soaked blades. Crookedpete found the cache as soon as we arrived and doggo decided a game of throwing sticks was the best way to celebrate our find. TFTC

Today, Seffnjarah and I were heading south to Nightcap National Park in northern NSW, chasing some unloved, challenging, adventurous hiking caches, plus anything else that is interesting along the way. This traditional was a small detour from our route, and being unloved, Seff called for a detour to remedy the situation. Clearly the local Council don't care for mowing their local parks. As we thrashed through the waist high grass towards the tree line, we were joined by a very energetic local dog, who was determined to keep us company and play games with us. At the water edge, we quickly spotted the container and the logbook was signed, all the while, the puppy was collecting sticks we had thrown. the dog. On the walk out, when the stick throwing stopped, the dog decided we were no good traitors after all and headed home. Onwards to the next. Interesting location. Many thanks Chip846Pete#7.814

11:38:00 AM. Took us a bit to find the park entry here but once we realised it wasn't private property ventured off the road. Easy going through the trees and a quick find. Don't think the ducks were very happy being disturbed. Log signed. A great swing nearby. Thanks for the cache Chip846.

Great, almost gave up.2 travel bugs passing

13-Sep-22
Stopped for this one on my way back from Crystal Castle. Would never have know about this lagoon, if it hadn't been for the cache. Initially thought I'd have to wade over to a wee island, but luckily geohubby suggested a different direction and soon the GPS buzzed letting me know I was close. Soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.

Such a cute spot! My sister had a turn on the hammock and then we spotted the cache Smile tftc

Found! Was no pen or writing utensil but happy to have nabbed it. Was a bit worried about my 100kg plus frame jumping onto the large hammock, or taking a flight on the rooe swing. There's another cute swing there though

Mrs Griffo and I went out to meet NoTomorrow at this location today because there is supposed to be a blue moon tonight. We were there before the moon came up though. Found the cache which was soaking wet. Also had a play on the beautiful circular swing that is there and lay on the trampoline/hammock. Got eaten by mozzies but it was a beautiful location. Great cache to start a new month with. Stood around at the cars chatting after signing the log and the friendly dog Rosie came up to say hello. Thanks Chip846 for the hide.

I've been saving this one for months... waiting for a Blue Moon. Literally. I had read that October was the month, but a few days ago realised that was for the western half of Oz and the time zones beyond, with the moon technically being full at about 1.45am here this morning. With that in mind, and the fact that I won't be here at the end of this month, today was the day.

Renroc and Mrs Griffo joined me for the hunt. The weather was perfect compared to the last 2 afternoons of thunder storms and hail. We figured out where to start and into the treeline we went. Wow!

It was so beautiful in there. And then there was the "hammock" that needed to be climbed into, and the swing that needed to be swung on. It was really peaceful, apart from the motorbike noise nearby.

I brought along a replacement log book but it was the wrong size for the cache. But never fear, I had a number of caches in different sizes in the car ready to hide. We choose a (hopefully) watertight one that matched the size on the cache page with waterproof paper inside. I hope you don't mind. I was just trying to help.

I hope you've been to visit or at least called your mum last month or this month, being a Blue Moon and all. Trust me, a mother needs to hear from her kids once in a while. I really miss mine. Can't wait to see them all again in December.

Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful place with us. Fave point given for this.
Smile

Call and amazing little hideaway to have a fun find

25-Jan-20
Wow what a really cool little spot this was hidden away in the bush.
There was a bit of wildlife around like lizards, frogs and ducks to look at.
The local hammock was a pretty cool feature but TG liked the nearby ring swing more so she had a go on it.
The cache was easily found and our names added to the log.
We love it when this game brings us to hidden little gems like this.

I've been meaning to do this one for a while. I was on a local cache run today, and made it a priority to get this one checked off my list. What an awesome place. Imagine growing up in the house close by with this lagoon and little patch of forest to play in!

I found the cache easily - I wish I would have had a spare log to drop into it, as the current one is very fragile. Love the location, and the makeshift trampoline. Thanks Chip846!

03-Sep-18
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
I have always wanted to see how many caches I could find in a day. Today I see off on a caching run through Northern Rivers. This was find #16 for the day. My final tally for the day was 31.
If I was a little bit younger I would definitely had a fo on the trampoline. TFTC

I initally drove past this spot not quite knowing where to park. I did a U-turn and identified a path heading to GZ. I made my way there (while passing quite close to someone's hammock!), and found the cache.
Its a nice spot here, with nearby cows looking on.

Visiting family for the weekend. Discovering local spots we never knew existed. Love this little paradise. Cache was sodden. No spare bags sorry. Bad form TFTC

08-Sep-16
On the way back to my home away from home, I stopped for this cache. At first I wasn't sure I was headed the right way but I gingerly picked my way through the trees skirting a backyard and nary a white stake to mark my path. Relying solely on my trusty GPS, I made it to the water's edge and discovered a very waterlogged container. I poured out the contents, signed my name and made tracks back.

Gorgeous spot ! I've lived in Mullumbimby for 11 years and didn't know this little gem existed ! Thanks Smile

A true geocache adventure...a lovely little divet in the world. TFS your childhood with us.

20-Jan-16
We got to about 150 metres away and there was no sign of a park anywhere. The grass was long and it seemed to just go to a house on private property so we gave it a miss.

I have loaded up the geo bicycle with its little trailer and have headed south for a few days of touring. Cool
The first day is always the hardest, full load, head wind and a shower or two. Razz
But I made it to Brunswick Heads. Big Grin
Today I planned to head out to this cache and return ... an easy day. Big Grin
A little bit of searching as the phone had me about 10m away but I eventually found the cache. Smile
Thanks for the cache.

15-Aug-15
A friend was housesitting nearby and this seemed like a good idea to satisfy 2 energetic dogs and my addiction.
There was a chocolate frog and a lolly in the cache so I removed them to prevent an insect invasion.
Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful place.

Today is our Mullumbimby/Tweed Valley Way trek with King-fisher 8, jackxena62, Team Benders and DiamonJs. We did not have this on our original list of caches to do today, but King-fisher8 said it would be worth while - so off we went. Parked on the side of a recently mown patch which meant our wet shoes didn't get too much wetter. We soon found ourselves trekking through a rain-forest re-vegetation area - very nice, then on near the lagoon. Soon we were crowing over the nesting find that Mrs RoddyC had in her hand. Nice cache - a tad different the the usual systema. All logged and then replaced. Found at 10.35 am on 6th March 2015. TFTC.
