Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

Hi
Spoke to a caching friend of mine and he suggested logging this again to be archived. Hope I'm not out of order but it's been a long time since it was found and no sign of it. The area is quite overgrown and there isn't anything much of note in the area.
Kind regards
Kate

Hi there
We had a good look in the area - it was quite trodden down so we think we have the right spot. When I looked back over the recent logs it hasn't been found for over a year so am wondering if it is still a going concern.
Cheers

Got To 1metre! Argh, Still No Find! After 1 Year Of Noone Finding, Maybe It Covered! Tho I Moved Alot Of Old Bush! Maybe Owner Should Go Check!
Track is overgrown , went in 5 meters and had 3 big Roo ticks, just not worth it .

Sadly missed out on this one. Geo hubby however collected 5 ticks while we were bush bashing our way to GZ. And I don't mean the 'tick' that is the opposite of a 'cross'. We both were getting that way by the end though and scrambled out of there ASAP.
On holidays for the week, we were planning on slowly driving back to Busselton, but have ended up staying :just 1 more day in Albany, it has changed alot since i lived here 12 years ago. There are some awesome views I had never seen before. TFTC
Finally found it! I thought it was a tricky hide, dunno how everyone else finds it so quickly!? It's taken me 4 attempts lol TFTC
We drove as close to the cache as we could then 'went bush' Five minutes later we were back in the car and on our way. Took nothing Left nothing.
Drove to within 20 metres and found it quickly. On the way to the cache we did encounter some difficulty as we were directed to a road quite a distance away. Worked it out though and enjoyed the challenge.
We did the short walk and a quick find. Signed the log. TFTH

I moved out to the grove two weeks ago finally got things sorted and this is my first grove cash now i'm a resident TFTC
We drove to within 20m of this cache. Few of the bushes are very prickly, so we would recommend long pants when doing this cache. TFTH
Clambered about for the better part of an hour and no joy. Will come back with more manpower next time.
Rather than walk the 400+ meters, we decided to bravely venture onto the off-road terrain in our Canuckomobile. No problem! We walked the last 100m of trail, then had to venture the last 20 meters into the scrub. There is a fairly well marked path to the cache, which we found fairly quickly, so fortunately it wasn't as hard as we had been expecting! This cache is a good example of what geocaching can accomplish - finding a small container like this in a large bush would be like looking for a needle in a haystack, but with the help of a GPSr and coordinates, you can achieve the impossible! We added a few swapables to help out with the supply. TFTC.
Enjoyed the bush bashing did not enjoy dropping my glasses. So I had to get back to the cache and right by the cache I found my glasses Wow I'm lucky
Found at 3.50pm GAFF1. An interesting adventure in navigation. These tracks don't appear on our maps, so it was relieving to see that we only had a short distance to go into the bush which was very thick. Heading into the sun, we had no hope of seeing anything, so we had to go past GZ and come back with the sun over our shoulders and we soon spotted the cache.
Thanks LLTJ

Found as we drove within 20 metres of the cache. Found as 18 of 23 for today. TFTC LLTJ
Walking into the cache I had a Pug start barking at me, once it decided I wasn't a threat it followed me almost the whole way to the cache. Found the cache by following the geo trail into the undergrowth. Thanks for the hunt and the cache.
We drove in some of the way and walked the rest. We made a quick find once we got through the last 20m or so of shrub. We saw a native animal on the way in - we are not sure yet what it was but we have some photos to hep us try and identify it when we get home. TFTH
tftc. second time lucky, the first time we visited we were in thongs and shorts and took a look at the last 20m and decided it was too overgrown and we werent really dressed appropriately. nice bushland for a walk. the dog enjoyed the walk too
Often passed this track but never turned in til now. It was a bit further in the bush than needed to be.TFTF
The first part was quite easy but the last 20m was tough going- you really need to pick the right path. Dropped off Stacy's Car TB. TFTH
Scratchie outing with Stus*Crew....Took a fortune fish and left 2 shells...Thanks for cache....Go safe!
Intrigued to see this was not found since June 10th. 'A long time between visits'!!! Anyhow, an easy find. Certainly can't drive along the small approach track anymore due to some branches overhanging. A very quick walk from the main track though. Signed the book and enjoyed the pleasant weather for the rest of the day. A well thought of location. Disco11 is pleased.
Bush has over grown alot since I last had to come in here. Quick find and then out. Looks like it would be a snake haven in the warmer months.

Took a punt on this one as others have said it is still there. And it is!! Almost a drive by in fact. TN. Left ABC pen. SL. TFTC
What an easy cache to do. We parked just off the main road and walked up and cross the main tracks (easy). Once there, we found two easy pathways through the bush to get to the cache (less than 15m away). We had a few moment of not finding it as the coordinates led us to the front of the bush and we need the back of the bush (no we could not see it thought the actual bush). Took hair clips, left kids toys. TFTC.
I too think that this one should be put back on line as it is fully functional and a great area. However i can see how this one could prove difficult if approched from the wrong dirrection. Thanks LLTJ
After circling around the cache coordinates by car to find an entry point we parked at the above coords and walked along a sandy track which finally brought us close to GZ. We had no problems to locate the cache and can encourage you to re-activate the cache.

If I was you I would put it back up and not worry too much about the softies who are too scared of things that scratch or go jump or whatever.
Nor would I worry about those who think the patch of bush was too far off the road or those who think there was nothing to look at. It was a great first hide.
Coords are better than many other caches.

It seems people really don't like the bush bashing so I think I will take it out of the Geo-cache books. Better luck next time.
Not for little people I got scratched and cuts all over.
Nothing to take it is all wet and rusty inside maybe the water bottles are leaking. Needs some TLC tried to dry a little.

BEWARE OF SNAKES!!!!! TNLN SL Wondering why we had to hike so far in when there was nothing to see but we did it and found it. TFTH
Second attempt at this one after having GPS gremlins late last year when the GPS has us heading to the wrong side of the track. This time still had trouble getting a good fix, but bush bashed and the female Coaster came up the the goods after the male Coaster became lost/frustrated/hot and bothered after having a bad GPS day in the Big Grove jungle.
Must say the choice of the hide was uninspiring as there were more pleasant locations across the track.

Found the track then a little bush bash and we found the cache without any problem. Thanks LLTJ

Lots of March Flies - in Decmeber!. Left Seeds took another bone painting. TFTH.
We managed to get to within 25 mts of GZ with the Patrol. As it was a very warm afternoon I volunteered to walk into GZ with the pooch as geo-hubby was wearing shorts but even the geo pooch walked in behind me! Didn't like it at all, very snakey bush but didn't come across anything nasty and located the cache without a problem.

Found a "new" area to walk after work. Didn't realise there were so many tracks in this area. Flat with lots of bush. Should be a treat in spring, full of colour from many wildflowers. FTFH
A nice easy find. Dropped in a Canada Diabetes TB which we had grabbed back in Alice Springs - a bit of a change in scenery and climate.
Thanks LLTJ for the cache. Hope to see some more caches of yours one day.

Saw the post of a new cache at 6.30pm, borrowed a GPS and took off to find this cache, which was a FTF for A, but actually a 2nd to find for M. Lovely starry night, drove with a little 2WD to within 40m, found it in about 15mins at 7.50pm.
Great hide (as far as we could see in the dark...) things inside were great too, only took the "Prickly Pear" Geocoin though and will take him to the next cache soon. TFTH

Let me know what you think so I know what to do differently for my next cache e.g.goodies, where I put it, etc.
