Due to the busyness of the time of the year, I will archive this one for now and may look to place a new one in the area in the newyear
It would seem this one has gone missing, I will get it replaced in the next couple of weeks
Gaz'n'Kab, Fangsoki, GhostGums and his minions and myself all had a good crack at this one today for a good 20 minutes. Having looked at the gallery, that container is definitely not there any more. I'd say a owner check-up is equired. A good spot for a cache though.
No joy for our impromptu group today (who consisted of GhostGums, RoseGums, MrMeccano, Gaz'n'Kab, Captain Terror, and I). We hunted high and low but no joy. TFTH Team Fuddley
Not where we assumed it would be, but we all know that to assume makes an ASS out of U and ME. SL. TFTC
First find for the day. Son loved it. He was the one to find it. He loves going through the stash in the cache even though we hardly ever take anything coz we always forget to bring our little things to leave in the caches...
we were the centre of attention here....had to pretend we were having a picnic!!!! Got some strange looks from passers by! TNLNSL TFTC
This was our third ever find. It took Dad (me) and two boys (11 & 14) about 10 minutes to find due to inexperience and the inaccuracy of using a mobile phone as the GPS device. Was found by thinking about it and looking in an obvious spot (I hope this isn't a spoiler).
It was a well-placed cache, but the location seems a bit public. We got at least one funny look from a passer-by. (Check the location on the Google map and you'll understand what I mean.)

Nice and interesting place...no muggles around when Ms Bushies2 finally spotted it. Thanks Team Fuddley.
4th find for the day. Fishermuggles all over the place, so had to pretend we were tourists taking photos of a great piece of sculpture, he he he he. Anyway took keyring, left skaterboy toy. Cheers...
Chubba Bubba found this one from the Black Team from PCYC Blazers. The girls found all of their caches, beating the boys by 1!! This was a great location, we had to do a little crawling around. There was a big ship coming into the river as we were looking for the cache, looked cool at night time with all of its lights on.
Gotcha !!! Finally got back to find this cache. It was a construction zone last visit in Aug 2009. Thanks Fuddleys for the cache and the challenge .
Nice hide, forgot the shovel! Fingers a bit worn.TFTC SL TCLC Cache in good condition!
TFTC. TN left a flaf magnet. For a while there we wished we'd bought a bobcat, or at least a shovel.
Found it eventually - not sure if cache creep has been at play, but the GPS swore black and blue that it was located the other end.
Nice bit of artwork, thanks for bringing us here.

Found with the assistance of the hint and a short search made long by the constant stream of traffic trying out the new bridge to Burnett Heads. Logged TB. TNLN. TFTC Fuddleys.
First find for the day, We have had a spell from caching so we thought it was time to start again, Thanks Team Fuddley
I found my way to the anchor after parking and taking a walk to GZ. There were several fisherpeople along the river today. A quick search and the cache was in hand. I signed the log, took a TB and left a TB. then I got my binoculars to see all the birds wheeling above a trawler doing it's thing at the mouth of the river. I've never seen many ospreys and kites, along with cormorants, terns and seagulls all in the same air-space, and diving into the water behind the trawler - fascinating!TFTC The Fuddleys
An easy find for me today. Couldn't do the quick drive by as the road had a fence across it.
Never mind I'll just walk over, no fence stopping me doing that. TFTC.

Not sure why the construction fence is still standing for just a few meters...I really can't see the point but anyway, we found the cache easily enough. It will be good to come back in a few years time to see just what the landscape artists do with this area. The fishermen were busy in the area. TFTC
This cache was surrounded by a construction camp on my last visit. Happily, it was easily accessed this time. Took a short while to find, then we TN/LN/SL Lovely spot up there by the river. Will have to re-visit some time when I don't have my cache eyes on ... as if .
Found today (16:01) in company of young old fella
Nice quick find now we found the short way in.....

Found with Model Bear. Our first attempt left us with an 850 walk but this time we attacked from the port side and drove to within 100 m

Found with Avagomob today. Our GPS took us to a deadend and unlike Avagomob our cache mobile is not 4WD. So we found the long way around to meet up with the others who had taken the short cut. Nice area but GPS had us out in the sea for this one. Quick find around the obvious GZ. TFTC
Well finally, most of the fences are down, while there is still no vehicle access to GZ, you can safely park within 100mtr. and walk to the booty.
Happy Hunting.

Thanks for bringing this up, but all is in hand, I pass this site at least every two weeks and the construction work is still continuing. I can see where the cache is, just can't get to it, as soon as the fences are down I will re activate the cache for all to find.
Sorry, I forgot to post this note last week, but I have checked this cache again, and it is still behind the fence in a construction zone, from what i can see it is still there, and once the construction is finished and the fences are removed I will re-enable this cache. I have been able to find out how long this will take, but as we visit this area on a regular basis we will get it back on line asap. Thank you for your concern.
Stopped off today to check the cache. Work is still going on so will leave it disabled and will check again in a few weeks.
Found at 1.25pm GAFF1. We encountered a problem at GZ - it was a construction site and you had to report to the site office before entering. So we did!
Cache was found quickly after looking at the wrong end of the structure for a while - but luckily non of the workers were interested in what we were doing.
Thanks Team Fuddley .

Thanks Team Fuddley .
Taking this down due to the construction in the area, will re-list once the fences are down.
Went to do this one today but the area is now a construction zone and fenced off. I could see the anchor from the fence so asked at the site office if I could go and have a look. This was NOT possible. Team Fuddley , you may have to disable this cache till the construction is completed. Thanks for bringing me here anyway.

Had to look hard as co-ords were off for us. Logic said it had to be there somewhere. Took gecko left balloon stickers.
Thanks for the hunt.
Thanks for the hunt.
Took a little while. Had a visit from elderly gentleman walker, but didn't ask too many questions, probably thought I was a bit of a fruitloop, studying this thing in detail. Thanks for cache.
Lot's of hide spots near GZ, cache well hidden, Had to scrape around on my hands and knees to find this one, Lucky there was no one about. Than when I walked away after crawling about on my hands and knees, I read a sign saying that this area is under constant video surveillance. I had a good ole laugh, raced to the car and bolted out of there ASAP.

Went back for another look and voila!! there it was. We can't fathom how we missed it the first time but at least that's a DNF to cross off. Left a star to wish on, an eraser and a pin. Took a pinball machine for the geoteen. TFTC

Well the GPs had us wanting to follow a road that no longer exists. There were lots of people fishing on the other side. But we managed to work out which way to go and then we saw a piece of this area that I did not know even existed. Great hiding spot - the youngest geokid found this one. No swaps done today. Thanks for the cache.
Nice name. Found with 2 people new to geocaching. Took nothing, left a cat pin and a plastic dog. Thanks!
14:16 I was full of dread this might come to naught but I located the cache and I was aweigh

Found after a bit of a search for the best approach to GZ, and for the cache itself. My nuevi decided it was time for some adventures and wanted us to swim across. None of these roads were listed, so followed Team Kryptik's navigational sense which was rewarded with a car park a few metres from GZ, and eventually the cache! TFTC
A ride into the evening, through the cane fire smoke, was needed to find GZ. With no torch, the search was quite difficult. The big things give off their protective covering quite easily, and dark grey arms and hands were the result. Searched for a good 10 minutes, resorted to the clue, and still nothing. I was nearly going to call it quits due to the cooling weather, when a familure sound was heard. Something hollow. The cache.
Signed at 1810 hrs. Find number 20 for the day (last for the day) and 33 for the trip.
Evjoyed the spectacle of many cane fires around the area on our return to Bundaberg.
Cheers
