Found the outline of where a cache may have rested. No luck for us though. Arggggg!
Aaaaaaaaargh, the treasure has been plundered. Not by some noble buccaneer but by an illiterate, ignoramous muggle. Alas, the fearsome Captain Ralph did not leave his cutlass to his descendants so that one mighty slicing blow would at least render these muggles incapable of reproduction.
We made this much harder than it needed to be but got there in the end. Might need a restock of tradies to keep the kiddies happy? Tftc!
Great adventure to get to this cache. Liked the story and the kids found my pirate voice very amusing when I was reading the cache description. Also good to see a nice big cache in good camo in the bush.

This was one from a row of caches during our (geocaching-) holiday trip through WA. TFTC and Greetings from Germany to all Aussie-Geocachers
On our way to Albany for a couple of days Geocaching.
While checking out the scenery close to hotel, I thought I might make a grab for this one while we were close by.
iPhone GPS had us jumping from one side of the track to the other until it finally settled down. Hubby made the find but I had to retrieve it. After taking it out of its resting place I was greeted by 4 bush roaches making a run for it.........EEEEEKKKK.
Signed log and didn't see any TB in there......I did have my eyes glued mainly to the roaches tho who seemed to want to hide under our shoes.

Hi Tangowithcupcake,
The missiemoo crew found your cache with the help of mans best friend, the four legged kind. It was relatively easy to find and looked as so many people had been there and had moved the cache around but not to worry, after a few minutes of searching high And low we found the cache and spotted schnuffle the little Teddy in a zebra costume the trackable toy but we did not move it as we were unsure whether we would find the next cache we were heading to. A great spot and right out of the way of muggles. Thanks for a great cache!!!

[:(!] Mrs Grumpybump and I did a three day caching run from Perth to Albany and back, after arriving at the caravan park and after booking in we went for a stroll to pick this cache up, on arrival at GZ we had the cache in hand within a couple of minutes. TNLTBSL TFTC/TFTH
Been along the bike path plenty of times but never been up this sandy track before. Thankyou for the cache.

Found it!.
Geo hubby saw the 'signs' so even though our IPhone GPS was out by 8 mts, we went home happy. Left the trackable, the Cornish Pixie whose aim is to travel Australia.

This one was easy for me. All I had to do was sit back in my stroller and complain, and watch Mummy and Daddy wander around in circles looking for the cache. I, of course, knew where it would be, but I let them go for a while before they FINALLY got it for themselves! TFTC Mr Tango .
A quick find first thing in the morning while exploring Emu Point. TFTC tangowithcupcake.
Argh me hearties... Great cache, easy enough for the geo-kids to find, geo-toddler had fun with the
cockroaches that were hiding under the tin, and geo-mum & geo-dad enjoyed the lively walk on a path we've walked past hundreds of times. Left toys, took toys... The teabag & the alcohol wipe were tempting though! TFTC!

Found with family whilst down in Albany for the weekend Thanks for the cache!
Found while on a stroll from our caravan park stay nearby. What a lovely area. Like the story that goes with the cache. TNLN SL TFTH and bringing us here.

An easy find with my son, but as soon as he saw a dozen cockroaches crawl out of it, he scarpered, leaving me very little time to sign it. I just hid it again quickly and followed him. Off to the next one.
Couldn't find it the first time, other half of Team Willows went for a second look and found it, track a little isolated when on your own. TNLN, TFTC
Last one for our morning on the bikes before we head to the wedding we are down here for. Great viewing platform. Thanks for the cache.
We were met by a couple of squadrons of Mozzzzies who escorted us to the cache where the whole army lay in wait to ambush us. It was a very quick sign of the log and we ran out of there with the Mozzzzies buzzzzing around us.
A lovely stroll thru the bush to retrieve this hide..It is so nice when a cache takes you somewhere interesting.. we made use of the lookout nearby
Reckon any bunch of treasure hiding pirates would have been nonplussed at the hords of bicycle mounted brigands sweeping down the track today. We managed to avoid the mayhem and locate the booty.
Thanks tangowithcupcake
Thanks tangowithcupcake
we parked and started walking, but it was a roundabout track. Once at GZ it was a quick find, way away from muggles.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
A longish walk (for this area) and somewhat winding path led to your well stocked
cache. Passed a lookout on the way and on our return journey poked our heads
out to have a look at the beach

Had me stumped. Stepped back had a really good look at the terrain and found it straight away. DOH! Nice cache.
Captain Ralph's descendant may have found the treasure but forgot to take the chest with him and now many years after it was hidden following more than just the dog star we also managed to find it. All the hearty treats were gone but their was still another piece of paper in it which we signed to let future adventurers know about this.
Thanks again tangowithcupcake
Thanks again tangowithcupcake
This one took a bit of searching as gps had us on wrong side of the track! Once we realised our mistake we found it pretty easily. TFTC
I found this while exploring the local area i was staying at the caravan park around the corner this was my first find for the night of four
Ahh Me Hearties. Nice walk to find this cache. Nervous still about leaving the car alone after last week. No15 for today. TFTC Tangowithcupcake
I found this after bush bashing down the wrong track for half an hour. Really felt stupid after that. TFTC.
This was the closest cache to where we were staying for the 10th Anniversay bash. We just couldn't ignore it so this morning after checking out we had a little walk and then went and enjoyed the beautiful beach nearby. Sam even went for a swim in the very cold water
As we were worried about snakes because we saw one slithering along the path yesterday with our dog trying to catch it!! I kept our dog tied to me while poor Mr Bushies2 scrambled around the bush looking for the cache...took a while before he found it...GZ a bit out but we know with the trees, it cannot be helped. Thanks tangowithcapcake.
Found 11.45 AM.
Een hete dag vandaag. Eerst voldoende afgekoeld in zee. Daarna 800 meter gelopen en deze cache gevonden. Thanks.
I hope you can read the dutch language.

Reperio at 1935. Parked at the nearest car park and ran down the path to GZ in the hope to get there and find the cache before it got too dark. The trail here was a joy to run along, and as soon as I arrived at GZ, the great cache container was found. Nice concept and enjoyed it.
Gratias.

Kids loved it and we ramped up the pirate theme all the kids swapped something and we put in a packet of Aussie tattoo's, some pirate jewels, a key chain and a manicure set, and some pirate stickers--Great fun, the eldest treasure hunter, being the successful finder was the most excited. We have lived in Albany forever and have never been there --great fun!
A lovely walk, although a bit hot for Geo Dog. Found the cache quite easily, and covered it up a bit better. TFTH
Avast!! By the powers, we located the booty but appears some scurvy dogs have not been abidin by the pirate's code of honour as the coffer was full of gash and all the pieces of eight and doubloons plundered! By the sweet trade us bucanners should be swapping like with like. Savvy?
Thanks for the hunt tangowithcupcake AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

With school starting the next day, the Albany Canucks decided to take a short walk from Emu Point and do a couple of as-yet-unfound caches in order to bring some trackables to the beach. Some of the Canucks took their Ripstiks - the path between Emu Point and Middleton Beach is perfect for biking too, although on this occasion we decided to walk, so we could enjoy the beach on the way back to the vehicle. We gave the "Microsmall" cache a friendly wave on the way in, and headed for Pirate's Treasure. Nice easy find, but the booty turned out to be very well guarded by an army of mosquitos - beware! We stayed only as long as it took to quickly sign the log, do some small swaps, drop off the Sims Optical Illusion Geocoin, and pick up two other trackables (Blaney Creek Monument & PONENT). Immediately onward for destination Bayside at Middleton! Thanks for the cache!
Rated: for Overall Experience
Agreed! Those mosquito's are relentless. Trying to write and swat mosquito's proved difficult as they just keep coming. Not sure how I missed this one after finding other nearby caches, but we got this one just before it got too dark. TFTC
Found it pretty easy. Nice spot for a cache, but mosquitoes are pretty deadly. Well, bad anyway
Took the Vombatinus something (bear) Travel Bug. I'll put it somewhere in Busselton
