I am moving onto greener pastures so instead of replacing this micro I will archive and let a local take ownership of the area.

Found at 12.45pm GAFF3. A stiff wind sprang up across the water making the search a little more frantic. We cut to the chase as there were so many spots to search in a 10 metre line (our GPSr said GZ was 5 metres away, which wasn't too bad).
Thanks MADSTARS
Thanks MADSTARS
Very hard to find as there are several white things around and even harder to get my fat fingers around it to get it out.
Great spot to stop and rest on the drive home.
PS The log is full and needs changing.

Theres One.....was the call from the back and with a quick stomp of the brakes we pulled over threw a "U-Bolt" and went back to the GZ.
The views here were great. And Mr Simia remembers driving past here many times as a child.
Following the instructions this was a quick find for the GeoSon on the way to the Airport - noting the time we got a move on after signing the log and caught our transport home to the North.....Mr Simia would be back to team up again in a few days with Triple-GGG for a road trip.

Not too hard to find but lot's and lot's of traffic filing past. Nice view over the dam. TFTC.

An interesting hide the cache had dropped down the back and took a bit of ingunity to extract.
Nice easey find. Just how I like them. I was a Taxi Driver in Raymo 40years ago. I came past here many times on trps to the RAAF base.
It was raining a bit so it was out of the car, grab the cache, log and go. Not quite the day for sitting and watching. TFTC
Another great location spoilt by weather, not to worry the cache was found, logged and back in it's hidey hole. Thanks for bringing us here
I'll be dammed, it was the first find for the weekend and with the help of the hint we quickly had it in hand.
Found nice and quickly, was glad there was a pencil inside as I didn't have anything to write with on me or in the car
Hay Team Woodbats the muggles must have put it back.
We found the white tile & the Cache (Camo 35mm Film container) behind it.
Signed the log checked out the views then moved on to Wood Fire down the road.
Thanks MADSTARS

This cache has been muggled as i found the white tiles and pulled away half the rock wall but no cache was present.
Last one for the day after a trip to Muswellbrook and back picking up a few other caches on the way.
[Found it, very easy after reading the hints correctly. It pays to know your left and right after you turn.]Camo film canister, not behind the white tiles to the left.
Cache is simple, and site is simple, but Finding the cache took me some time. It had been cleverly hidden by previous finder.

Boxing day is a good day to go Caching, no one around!
Followed the hints but turned the wrong way at first.
Oh well I'm getting old you know
On a wet day the view was still worth taking in.
Signed the Log and we were on our way.
Thanks

Set off to grab this one but when approaching noticed that there were about three cars full of people at the area so we kept on rolling. Toooo risky!! Next time
Team Casho’s Boy weekend of caching up north.
With the girls at home the boys decided to go a caching.
Armed with a list of lower end caches. No disrespect to the caches or their owners there were many wonderful caches, locations and things to see in our travels. We just set up a search for those with a terrain level of around 2 – 2 ½ for this trip to build up our numbers heading towards our 1000th find in our first year. As this was the case many of our logs would just read easy find so to expand on that we are including a run down on bits of our trip in all logs.
Trip
Wollongong – Raymond Terrace – Nelsons Bay and home via the Central Coast area.
Visiting relo’s while in the area (I know a major waist of caching time).
Found not only our 900th find but also out 950th, on our way to the big 1000.
Things we seen
Views, fireworks, kids jumping their bikes off the end of a wharf, a kangaroo, a koala, crabs by the hundreds, lizards, a crock, a turtle, kookaburra, aliens, ducks, dogs, boats, tankers, a weather station, the Coast Guard, police, ambulance and the fire brigade and that was just for starters.
Removed a box of matches from a cache in a bush area. Not such a good idea I thought.
Got bitten by mozzies, invaded by school kids while trying to return a cache, did some 4 wheel driving, got busted by muggles, introduced my muggle family to caching, collected some travellers, found some new and interesting hide styles and carried out maintenance on several caches while on the go. On the way home had to take the long way due to a fatal car accident on Picton Rd. Stopped to help a driver who got a puncher as a result of the accident. Seen his car fall off the jack while we were passing by, legs under the car (all ok there thankfully). Kids got paid for our assistance as I would not accept the money. This detour proved longer then it should have due to the 3 new caches in Appin last week.
Our thanks to the girls for allowing us to cache without then (not that they had any other choice) and the many cache owners who placed the caches we attended.
We look forward to catching up with fellow cacher’s at the Geocaching Association of NSW Nurragingy Christmas Party GC1ZCCX December 12 2009, were all going well this will be our 1000th find.
Looks like the Oz Wagga Wagga Mega Event (April 2-5, 2010) GC1Y5R has just hit the MEGA requirements and we can’t wait to be part of it.
Merry Christmas
Happy and safe caching.

A quick cache by A on the way home to test the new GPS. Seems to work very well. (Colarado 400c.) TeamAJKW
Hmmm. This one took a bit of searching, and it was very windy. Eventually found with help of clue. But beware all the glass and also we came across a syringe. TFTC
It was great to return to Grahamstown Dam having spent 2 years working on the new spillway augmentation.
A nice quick early morning find in the company of Big Matt. TFTC.

Found it....just before we almost ended up in the drink. Must have been a sight for the passing muggles. Couple of ladies climbing all over the rock walls at near midnight in the frezzing cold.

Took two goes to get this one at about 12am. Missy 18 read instructions wrong and almost put us in the water. Found it in the end. signed log. TFTC
This could have been a haystack but for a very good clue. I'm glad I didn't have to stay here too long, the wind would have blown me away. I have passed by more than a few times over the years (but not as often as I should) on my way to visit friends living and working in Medowie. Thanks for the cache MADSTARS

Great little cache at the beginning of the day. I know the some people arent fans of the fighter jets flying over but I was blown away by them
Last day here and just a little bit of time before Big Matt and Shell drop me at the airport.
Good hints like this one always help, thanks MADSTARS

Found as part of the McWinTrexO'n team cache invasion tour of the area, darn but that's one big dam. easy find with the clue otherwise needle in haystack, a very big haystack.
Thanks for all the caches MADSTARS, with any luck I'll be back for another go some time soon as I have family in Gosford (good reason to get away for a while on the holidays)
Bet you'l be glad when we all stop logging.

Found with McPhan, RexTrex and BigON on our way north to Nelson Bay. Have been past here many times when I used to work nearby, but all that was before caching! Thanks MADSTARS.
way too dark to appreciate the view, apparently there is some water there, but too dark to see, none the less despite the range of possibilities amazing Tankengine found it , also present was Tealby and Sol de lune on our caching invasion from Canberra
Part of our Newcastle/Port Stephens invasion from Canberra... Nice and easy, even in the dark. Mind you, we didn't notice all that water until the next morning! Thanks!
This cache was in hand before I'd even had a chance to have a look. Unfortunately it was too dark to see anything of the location, but I knew well enough not to wander too far! Got to check out the view the following day though. TFTC.
Found as part of the Canberra Invasion to Newcastle/Nelsons Bay/Port Stephens and surrounding areas with Tealby, Tankengine and Mtrax. This one was day one and with our over night accommodation at Raymond Terrace, we hit Maitland on the way through.
Missed this one on my previous visit so very pleased to grab it this time around. I knew the water was there, but it was fun to watch the others as they checked out the 'dark area' just over there.
Thanks MADSTARS....getting sick of the logs yet??????????

Found as part of Team McWinTrexON whilst heading Nelson Bay-wards. Hmm, the view is not what I have come to associate with Australia, but perhaps that is just my lack of exposure to the other bits outside the ACT. TFTC.
2110.Frankly my dear, I don't GIVE a damn....about anything but the great expanse of water in front of me. Top spot although a little windy today.
TFTC and the spot.

No worries, it's a whole lot closer to us and we were driving past anyway...
Well I have just kept forgetting to bring a new log for this one...
Thanks to Big Matt and Shell, the cache is brand new and ready to rock and roll.
Thanks guys for the maintenance. Sometimes it just gets hard to be everywhere.
Cheers

An easy find whilst having a day geocaching on the way home from Forster. Unfortunately the cache had more water than the dam but I refilled the dam. I didn't even attempt to unroll the log as it was dripping wet.
Thanks Madstars. I was all out of supplies after being in Forster for the past 10 days or I would have fixed it. At least it is a close one you can easily fix.
Maybe an M&M container would be better, that is if you like using them. lol

Kalmlittleexplorers filled me in with the new hiding spot. Cache reactivated.

We had a little trouble finding this one so just wanted to let you know where we found it in case someone else moved it. We followed ur directions Jumped crouched etc but it wasn't there. From that spot we moved about 2-3ms right (looking at the rd) and it was behind a sort of white tile.
Cheers kalmlittleexplorers.

Not quite where we thought it would be. We were just about to give up and spotted it at the last minute.

2150 On way back to Nelson Bay came by the Grahamtown Lake (lol).
(Found a large stack of Delta Goodrem CDs that someone must have left after a parting of friends.) Still a lot of rubbish there tho.
Thanx
PS B2B ingot would have fitted, so will give it some mileage.

The camera has never been used as much on a caching trip as it wes on this one. Saved us many times over the trip.

Found it with the Tablelands Cachers (TC's). Just after I retrieved it a car just happens to pull up right behind ours. Code1 went to work with the camera distracting the muggles. TFTC.
Well we came on a dismal day but views were still OK. Interesting that we used to holiday in the area for many a year but had never stopped here before. TFTC

12th stop on a 13-cache mission.
Silly me dropped the first pencil - the dam gods claimed it, despite miss Alex's gallant rescue efforts.
This would be a beautiful spot - still bucketing down on us though.

There might be a bit of cache creep happening here. It doesn't line up as the hint suggests. An easy find just the same. TN/LN/SL.

Flying stop-over (as usual) on the way to Nelson Bay. What will the geo-caching world do when we eventually run out of film canisters? Eat more M&Ms obviously. Thanks Madstars.
Easy find, nice location. Another great spot we were considering before checking for nearby caches.
Found it and didn't even read the plaque ..mind set on the cache i guess.
Thx

Parked right next to the cache, and plunged over the edge for a quick find.
I had to have 2 goes at this one. How dare someone park right at GZ when I want to go caching. Thankfully they werent there on my return.
Thanks
Thanks
my first cache found ever, on the last day of 2008.A nice easy to cut my teeth on !
A good clue made it an easy find, for what could be a diabolical hide for a micro. Thanks for the hunt.
Wife loved this one as soon as we pulled up and there were a family of black swans. We did find the cache after some physical exercise jumping over the dam wall, what a drop.
Next person might want to take a marker to cover an entry placed today. An inconsiderate person has added the F word to mark their visit. To whoever that is thanks for taking the shine off my 8 year old daughters 2nd find. }:-P * *
Great view. Interesting that the plaque seems to have been placed posthumously. TFTC
