Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Dropped in with Roosta while he was in Lakes to check it after recent DNF's. Appears some new trackwork has erased the cache location. I'll get it replaced soon.

Wrong GPSr. Dusk. No torch. Found it quickly! Surprised us all. Had had a meal here this evening and thought to grab this one on the way home, but dusk nearly beat us. Took TB, left first aid kit from nearby guide unit. SL.

Found with a group of friends including one that became instantly hooked on geocaching nice spot we used to park our camper here when I was a kid tftc
New Year's Eve - the family are sleeping in so geodog and I venture out in the morning to find a good place for a walk. This island appear to be the ideal location, space, sand, water. I searched for a bit on the "sucker" up the road but gave up and came down here to a cache whose size is more suited to my finding ability. There were a couple of fishers on the wharf nearby but fortunately the cache is well removed from their sight. I got to where the GPSr read 0m and started to look around. It is the kind of scrub that affords few hiding places so I was able to locate the cache without too many problems. Relieved that I didn't have 2 DNFs in a row. TFTC
didn't take to long to find need to keep an eye out for other ppl near by. tftc tnln sl
Quick easy find with mr millsy031 while the geo kids collected shells. what a big sand pit for them to play in!!! tftc.
Spent the long weekend in lakes entrance. We were fishing on this island at 3am when I decided to check if there were any caches nearby. This one was less than100m from where we were fishing. Unfortunately couldn't find it in the pitch black of the night.
Found after some searching co-ords a bit out. Took gorilla Left small car.

Found with Gonefishen07, Hearse068 and Thing No2! Nice quick find by Thing No2. TFTC TNLN
Found with Hearse068 Thing No1 and Thing No2. In lakes for the event tonight so doing as many caches around the area as we can. The last time I was here I logged a DNF and only found a lid. This time Thing No2 had it found before I had even got to GZ. TFTC TNL1
Found with Gonefishen07, Thing no1 and Thing no2. Gonefishen07 had previously looked for this one but came up empty handed so we where not really expecting to find it but Thing no2 was right on to it and it turned out to be a quick find.
In Town for a few nights so my daughter and I have set out to grab a few caches in the twilight.
Enjoyed the views from the jetty nearby and then went in search of the cache, which wasn't that easy in the half light!
Found it after having a little think about the potential spots.
Thanks for the cache in a nice spot!

We were pleased to have this spot to ourselves, all the muggles were fishing further away. This area is just teeming with fabulous spots and thanks to geocaching we are getting to find them. TFTC
Nice easy find. We envy the people who live in the house across the water, what a great spot. tftc
A quick find, a few mtrs out on our GPS, but not a heap of places to hide a cache
Thanks for bringing us here to this out of the way spot.

Today was the fourth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. We visited a number of towns and areas today between Bairnsdale and Cann River and we were lucky enough to find some caches along the way. Again it was overcast at times with some very infrequent showers, we have had another excellent day. Having just seen the massive motor and pump from an old dredge, it semed appropriate to go to an area which appears to have been reclaimed from the dredged material. Although the cache was not where our GPS said to should be, we quickly located it about 5m away. TFTC djcache
Found at 0935. A beautiful morning with a couple of boats heading out the entrance to do some fishing as we wandered to the cache which Geodad spotted. Thanks
We saw the sea but not quite from gz.
Searched in ever increasing circles until we found the cache.
Thanks Jacqueline and Peter #6977

Lots of muggles around but hidden well, didn’t take too long at all, thanks Renae & DJ SL
A morning fishing on the island had no luck, so thought I would find a cache instead. Found this one after a little searching.

TNLN. It was low tide and we sat quietly on the nearby sea wall and watch the crabs feed on the rocks. Boy can they scuttle when they see you move.
Sort of popped a Muggles cherry but she wouldn't get out of the car. Midnight and Misteltoe. Muggles all busy with nets.
Found it! First offical cache find!
Found with help of with Uncle poiter.h!
After debating [?] over location (of where to start looking), one memeber of our party finally gave up arguing and found it. Uncle poiter.h was gleefully unhelpful till the end, when he (finally) took pity on us.

Found it at around 10.30am
Out for a very pleasant Sunday morning stroll with GeoDog and Geofriends. I was the one under pressure to find the cache as Geofriends had previously found it. Much fun and laughter was had as our party of 4, plus dog, strolled around Bullock Island taking in the scenery and watching the screen of my GPS. I was quite releaved to finally find the container and have the logged signed.
Thanks for this cache Renae and djcache. It was a lovely morning for a stroll and to see the Entrance again.

Find #247
I found this one early whilst on a walk along the foreshore area of Lakes Entrance.
No-one around at 0645 albeit a few fishermen on the jetty nearby.
I dropped of "snow white" and took a ball.

During my vacation in Australia I searched and found also this cache. Really a very nice area. I had here very much fun. TFTC
After watching the local dolphins play in the water and my gps bein out by 6m i found it. Good hiding spot. Gr8 place to walk!
My GPS didn't like this area, but finally arrived quite happily at GZ. Sand everywhere and some great views of boats chugging past. Was tempted to free camp here, but those fierce large warning signs made me quite nervous, so off to the caravan park. Thanks djcache for an insight into an unusual part of Lakes.
I too found the coords aboout 8M out, but with a bit of a search located the little blighter.

Found this one instantly as we had previously found the dreaded pink sistema clip. Fishing muggles thought we were doing something a bit sketchy but they soon left.

Oh my, did I love this cache ! The view was nice, of course, but that's not the only reason :
I was quietly looking for the cache (the coords are a bit off, according to my GPS, by the way), when I heard a noise behind me. I turn around to see that I'd been seen by "muggles". Or, maybe not real muggles, as these ones had a lot of feathers, and a really funny face !
Yep, I had in front of me, about 20 meters away, 2 pelicans looking at me. In 3 weeks that I've been in Australia, I've been quite unlucky with the australian wildlife (is there any kangaroo at all in Australia, or is it all just a myth ?!), so let me tell you I was delighted !
I took a picture of them from where I was standing, and then I looked for the cache. When I was done, they were still here, so I decided to get a little bit closer. And closer. And closer again ! I was finally able to sit on a little wall, about 2 meters from them, and take a picture ! I Loooooooooooved it !
So, I don't know if the owner has anything to do in that, if those pelicans are his and he asked them to stay nearby the cache to look after it, but anyway, thank you so much ! Maybe my curse is over now !

Dropped in before we left town.
The cache was not where it should be but is back in situ & a new log book too.
It is not in an area affected by, or going to be affected by nearby works associated with the sand pumping operations.
Thanks to greynomads for dropping in too.

I'll check on it tomorrow as we leave town for a few weeks but i'll bet it's still there. I've watched cachers look for this cache and giggled with my daughter before intervening.
It hasn't been in a pink container for since last summer. The clip is not an indication of cache status.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
After reading the previous logs we didnt hold much hope and we weren't disappointed! No luck for us either!
Well as the story goes.... [|)]
Went for look for this one today (Twice) even though the list of DNF was extensive.
GPS took me to a likely spot, found the dreaded pink stistema catch I fossick around for a further 30 Mins but couldn’t find anything else.
I went back and had a look at all the previous logs and tried pick up on a few clues if any to locate this one.
Went back and had another look around for a further 30 mins or so, but came up empty handed. [xx(]
The Big [?] is....
Is it still there or are we all looking in the wrong spot?????
I saw the sea but not the Cache, thanks Renae & djcache
