Found the right tree first off, but couldn't find the cache. Looked around every other tree, still couldn't find it, then geo-hubby got down on his hands and knees and final came out with it. I think I would have given up. Next time perhaps we should take the grandchildren, they like crawling about. Thank for the hide, it was fun.
Geocaching with Braveheart17 over the past few months in the Fleurieu area. Only just logging them all now, sorry. Love the hides and the adventures, thanks to all for the hunts. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Followed phone app compass to area of the GZ and headed straight to likely location for the hide. Had to walk about for quite awhile admiring the views whilst older nearby muggles fed the wildlife and fluffed around. Easy find for Rock with aid of a stick after muggles drove off. TFTC.
Nice spot on a beautiful sunny day. The logbook in cache was quite damp and we let it dry in the sun while we enjoy our apples. Tftc
found today on a long, beautiful day of geocaching. Nothing better to get out on a day like today. The river was calm and serene. TFTC
Quick find today while going to find a few caches with some mates during a holiday on Hindmarsh Island.
Thanks for the cache mundoo.
Thanks for the cache mundoo.

Very nice place. No one around today being Tuesday. It took us about 15 mins looking under the wrong tree for a while. The log book is drying out a bit now.
Finally found while caching with The Easter Bunnys after attending Goolwa Alive. ach time I had previously tried this one there have always been muggles around. Log book very damp. FTC
Was sitting down here fishing at night and thought I would check out geocaching app on my phone to find this was just behind me. The book is damp so will need replacing. Looked in car for one and had nothing

Found by Mary & David at 1010. What a view! Just sat there and stared, enjoying the sun, the reeds and the water. Mary's knees are shot too, but so far David is ok. Our thanks to mundoo.
Found with sneekypeak on our last day of some last minute caching before heading home.. Our gps was slightly off.... There were a few muggles around, but they were too busy doing there own thing... Sneekypeak had this one in hand very quickly... We signed the log and returned without any fuss....
The log book was fairly wet.... This may need to be replaced soon.....

Out for a goolwa, hindmarsh island tour with Snoopy_Lou. This one had us baffled at first as our gps was a little out we were not going to give in we were on a roll with 7 finds in a row After a little search we had cache in hand log book was a little wet. A couple of muggles but they weren't worried about what we were doing. This was another angle to the island and another view of the river we got to see Really cool to see a little spot like this where families are fishing, taking their jetski's out and appreciating the area and what it has to offer TFTC mundo [^]
didnt find need to have grandkids to skurry through the bushes too many scratches must be getting too old to crawl around in scrub
Had to try and look inconspicuous for a couple minutes while a walker with a dog went past. Quick find after that. TFTC
Quick find on my way to the Pt Elliot Four-Shore event! Thanks Mundoo for the hide!
Can't compete with all the muggles with jetskis & bbqs as they take in the Milang boat race that we inadvertently found out about @ the last failed attempt again due 2 the muggle factor. Odieodie & I did not look as we don't wanna blow the caches cover. Next time tftf
17/01/2012 22:01 15 of 23. Out with Eagle Eye (Michael) for some driving practice for his logbook. This was the second of two cache runs for a BIG day. Michael liked the idea of driving on the island as it was quiet and suggested that we clear it completely even if we were out to the we small hours, so we did! Not too hard to get to the cache. Eagle Eye stayed in the car. TFTC mundoo TNLN SL
I think cache creep has hit this one again but found it after a short search and enjoyed the beautiful views over the river. Thanks mundoo
No muggles around so was able to search in peace. Lokipagan came up with the goods. Good to see the absence of mud. TFTC mundoo.
A quick find with the navigator taking us to within 5 mtrs. No swaps - SL. We've had some heavy showers about today. Thanks to mundoo for the cache.
So much to see and do around this area.
We shall be back, maybe with the caravan for
a few days.
Left a soldier.

A quick, easy find today. Took the One Ring Travelbug to move it on shortly. TFTC SL [^]
We arrived at GZ to see two muggles plonked on the nearby seat fishing, too make matters worse all dead fish stinking up the place.
A longer than necessary search before re-reading the description to make the easy find, eventually!

Had a quick look for this one with the geofamily as we toured the island but come up empty handed. I headed back a little later in the day to grab the smiley. Kids just don't look hard enough. TFTC mundoo
An inquisitive bird watched as we signed the log - don't think they count as muggles??

On the mission to find all the Hindmarsh Island caches with Mrs "Are we there yet!" navigating. The last one found today by us on the island. Thanks mundoo.
Had to use some stealth here as there was a teenage muggle nearby making a phone call away from her family. Fortunately the cache was soon in hand and logged.TFTC
Quick find on way to Murray Mouth. A few muggles around but able to put car between them and cache. TFTC

Found It! - despite the nearby family preparing to go water skiing
I was surprised when I opened the cache to see one of the sheeptags I normally put in caches! "Have I already found this cache" I thought - No someone else had brought it here!

This one took a while to find but the hint says it all, after realising that it was all ok,tftc
Well we arrived to see some people enjoying the water here and very soon realised that their car was parked smack bang at GZ to take advantage of the shade from the big tree.
As they were not at their car but at the water edge it would only look very suspicious if we started scurrying and searching at what to them would look like their, windows down all opened up car.
So we drove off with "We'll get that one on the way back"...
Of course by the time we were heading back we were keen to get home as everyone was tired and we had another hour or so to get back to Adl.
Not logging as "did not find" cause technically we "did not look"

There were no mudflats to be seen today, just lots of lovely water. The river looks great.
Cache was a nice quick find. We like this side of the island much more than the horrible new part (apologies to anyone who lives there!)
Took hand of death TB

Cheers & happy caching

For some reason I was very impatient at this one. I was so keen to find more caches that when it couldn't be found after just a few minutes, I moved on to the next one. I'll be back another time. TFTC.
Easy find for one of us!
Not saying too much as she's rubbing it in a bit...

Found while out geocaching our way back to mundoo's place after a day out caching with Apty. It was really fantastic to have mundoo as my local guide; if you think her caches tell you a lot about the local history you can imagine how much you learn traveling with her!
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
no sooner had we pulled up but another car pulled in and jumped out and asked "are you geocaching?" Turned out a muggle who recognised the Yellow GPS!!
Made searching less stealth needed.
took geocoin, left sheep tag

Found on a Hindmarsh Island caching trip with team Jacob and Crystal Dragon79 - Took Pathtag left GC - TFTC
This was our 3656th overall find.
Found at 12:21 PM. Found the cache without any issues, the wind was really whipping up a storm here today.
Thanks mundoo for the cache.

Did some cache maintenance, retrieved the pathtags, dropped off a pathtag and a geocoin
Now this was annoying. I was going to grab this one on the way onto the island, but then I thought I would leave a few for the way back out.
Well, when I arrived, there was about 30 school kids about to start paddling.
I thought I would wait. The one of the leaders then starting pontificating in a very loud voice, and just went on and on... I left. (I think alll the kids fell asleep!)
Thanks very much for all of your caches on the island. Together they made a good history story about a place I hadn't been to before.
Thanks, Robmc.

Had to wait for a lone dachshund to leave the area before the search could commence. Like others before me I found the cache after widening the search area. The pipe in the tree at GZ had me intrigued (it would make a great cache hide).

Another weekend at the seaside!

Had to wait a while for a couple of muggles to leave who were sitting on the nearby chair. Luckily they soon moved on and we could search with gusto. The cache was soon found and signed away.

A nice little drive in here and I was able to park right at the cache edge.
An obvious little path in but enough rock coverings to keep it safe.
Thanks

With the area all to ourselves, we were able to make a quick find of the partly exposed container. Some additional camoflage was added during replacement but it should still be an obvious find for a geocacher.
Found on the Keeping Ahead Tour 2009.
Initially we thought this cache was beside housing but turns out it wasn't.
I had a look around and finally found the cache and whilst logging, was bitten by an ant on the neck. Fortunately for me, your ants here are just an annoyance unlike our Jack-Jumpers back home. I think it may have fallen into the cache as I attemped to brush it off so next finder beware!.

Spent some time looking in a small grotto before finding the cache on the outside.
Someone had dumped their rosebush clippings near by and I got caught up in them while returning to the car. Owwee [B)].
