Found the heart but at this time of day & still being a metre below it I have reluctantly let this one go. Possibly more than a T3??
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.Very cool hiding place...! We are happy to add a blue "ribbon".......Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
An amazing find. Took a few minutes to find the rock but once we did, up went geo hubby and log was signed. TFTC
That was a cool one . I climbed a bit too much but at the end I reached the cache with a bit of effort. Almost too short.I give a favorite point for the adventure fact .TFTC

Departed Melbourne many weeks ago now and have been travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually (hopefully ), passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel.
Finally made the northern warmth and the Cape and we have loved every minute of it now we are on our way home again and having many more adventures as we slowly travel south.
Well, after spending a few extra days in Townsville getting a cracked chassis and tow bar mount fixed on the GeoVehicle we are finally on the move again. Today we are having a rest in Bowen for a day and then south again. Today is for geocaching, walking on beaches, climbing bloody big hills, walking the town for adventure labs, lunch in a pub and desert at the Big Mango
Climbed up, down, over, through, and around the rock beside the one I should have been on, then I read the hint and saw the heart, %$#@&^$# It was a quick find after that!

Continuing our tour around Bowe. I parked the geomobile and Konie and I made our way to this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed. Interesting view while my geobuddy was signing the log {:0} With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
In the area with Selva Girls today to pick up some caches and this was one of them. Enjoyed the walk along the beach and took one step too many and got an eyefull of some bloke burning his bits. We soon zeroed in on the cache and once the log was signed all was returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

This seems strange to be logging a cache that I have visited a few times since placing way back in 2008.
I would also like to thank Burdair3 for their help over the last fourteen years.
Like all cache placements it has had a few problems but it is still in the original location in a beautiful location and far enough away from the normal tourist area so to find this guy you are either a geocacher or a nudist which I am not.
It has got to the stage that I have to either adopt my caches out or archive as I have a health problem that is only going to get worse.
Big thanks to the DeBomb7068 team for adopting this oldie and keeping it going.
I just hope they get as much satisfaction out of owning this cache as I have over the years.
I will give it another F.P. because now I can. Thanks A & D.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 100. Bowen day 1. Today was a day of ups and downs. I went of a few nice walks, I found some well hidden caches and I chased my tail for a few DNFs that always leaves a sour taste. I am staying by the highway, but the resorts by the bay look fantastic, maybe one day I will feel justified staying at one.
After an interesting rock scramble to get out to the point, I was relieved to have the place to myself. A saw the key items from another rock and then worked my way down to retrieve and then head back to the car.
Thanks for the cache Bushfire

Our caching tour of Bowen brought us to this beautiful location, a wonderful place for a cache. After scrambling over rocks and through shallow water we started lining up the hints and looking for the distinguishing feature. And is it perfect..
We were glad the beach was deserted from two perspectives.. great for geocaching and easier, yeah, just easier. One's body may be a temple but even temples can become an eyesore. TFTC Bushfire.

We are visiting Bowen for a few days as we explore some of North Queensland.
We loved visiting this location and particularly enjoyed our scramble and walk over the rocks to GZ.
At GZ, the hint was helpful as we made the find and have added our name to the log.
A FP. Great location and hide.
Thanks Bushfire

This is day three of the drive from Brisbane to Townsville and today Fangsoki, Crew 153 and 1MinnieMoo and I are doing the Mackay to Townsville leg. Given I've never driven this far north, everything is new and exciting, even from the backseat where I spend the majority of the time. After our night in Mackay, and a reasonably early start, we're on the road and heading north.
By Bowen, the weather had cleared from intermittent showers and was now being very 'North Queensland'. And it was now just after midday and I was running out of steam before lunch. But this old geocache was a priority on the list and up next.
It's a bit crazy to me that this geocache only gets found monthly. I guess it's remote enough. But my desire for its popularity might stem from how much I enjoyed the experience of finding it today.
Parking was easy with the waypoints and once we'd all gotten ready, headed down the track towards the beach. There's no way anyone not local would ever find this place without the geocache hey. But the path was good and lead to the aptly named Coral Beach.
Now just down the beach to the next waypoint. We got slightly confused, but given it was low-ish tide, we continued along the beach - only one tight section that we had to scurry through between waves.
Wandering along, the views here and scenery among the rocks is just spectacular. So idyllic and like a postcard from the most famous of Queensland attractions. The colour and shape of the rocks, the blue of the water, the serentiy from all but one other group of people - amazing.
Having arrived in the general location, we fanned out to hunt down the contwainer. I was perched on a rock when I resroted to the hint. And as I looked up, about 10 metres away was a very obvious, inland-facing, perfect heart hole. Ah, I'm gonna look over there.
Maybe needless to say, I am glad I'm a tall bugger as I did some acrobatics and lots of "three points of contact" to get to the container. But I got it in my hot little hands and tossed to someone with a pen. It was signed at bout 12:30, then handed back to me.
So with the geocache returned, I could extricate myself and we headed for the car and onwards more to lunch. This place is just so deserving of bringing travellers and I love that I got to see it. Recommended for sure! Thanks for sharing this adventure with me, Bushfire

A 9 day roadtrip to Townsville and back to Brisbane in the Fangsoki Pajero with the usual cast of cachers.
I'm glad the tide was out when we arrived so that we could have a pleasant stroll to the location. There was a lack of distracting images along the way and I managed to do the walk without getting blinded. It was Captain Terror who did the work at the final location.

1MinnieMoo, Crew 153, Captain Terror, and I were in the area and decided to drop in on this older cache.
I am really glad we made the effort. We parked up and padded our way through the bush to the beach. Thankfully, the tide was just right for us today and we did some clambering and started our search. Captain Terror came up with the goods. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found.
I am glad the view was a lot better than the last time Crew 153, Pprime, and I had to traverse along one to find a cache on a nude beach. That day we could have flushed our eyes out with hydrochloric acid and still have been mentally scarred for life.
Our trip back was a nice clamber and back through the bush. A great little cache - and a favourite of the day. TFTC Bushfire

Day 3 of our trip to Townsville for Fangsoki, Captain Terror, Crew153, and we were on our way from Mackay through Bowen, but had a few select caches to grab in here today.
This one was on the list, being a nice old cache, but we did wonder about the terrain with the slightly damp weather and all. However we decided to take a peak and see just how we’d fare.
We had timed it well, with the outgoing tide, and made our way safely around via the beach. A bit of a scramble, and we spread out to begin our search. It wasn’t long before Captain Terror let out the victory cry, just ahead of where I was. Then to figure out just how to actually grab the cache. A balancing act and a stretch and Captain Go Go Gadget Long Arms made the grab, handing the cache over for signing duties. How amazing to find a rock with such a perfect heart shaped crater in it!
This was definitely an enjoyable adventure, well worth the visit.
Thanks for the cache Bushfire.

That was a lot tougher than I expected. After swimming like a local I managed to extract and sign. It was a dangerous one. Would have been good to stand on same shoulders. TFTC

After a wonderful trip to Hamilton Island, geohubby and I stopped in Bowen for a couple of days to catch up with a muggle friend. After taking our friend to a nearby cache, geohubby and I thought we might quickly tackle this one before retiring for the night to our amazing hotel room.
We clambered over the rocks and saw some of the great formations, heading toward GZ. Noticing the nearby beach, we hoped we didn't need to enter or remove our clothes (luckily, we didn't!). Finding the GZ, we climbed and precariously removed the cache from its location, signed the log, and returned it skillfully. Finding a much quicker way down then we did up, we wandered along the beach watching the sun set before returning to our humble abode for the night.
Thanks for the adventure!

This one I had to get for several reasons, after living here and visiting Bowen since 87 I had never been here.
Due to the effort to get here it does feel like I was trying for a summit and this one gets a lot of points due to all of the favourites it has collected.
I like targeting the older ones in the area so that was a tick. As well as currently this is the furthered north cache I got.

After lunch on my second day here in Bowen with Geokirky, we thought we would go do a few aches. This one was easy ache, but I do suggest take safety precautions when reaching for it.
Fun retrieval! Thanks for the tips in the messages we found it after we located the heart shaped hole in the rock .

We had a DNF on this one yesterday, but soon heard from the CO who is in Lockdown in Victoria. He believes it is missing so asked us if we would be happy to replace it.
So it was up earlier this morning and back out to the Point for another visit. Yes, we did get dressed!
It was tougher today as the tide was in and we had to do a bit of rock scrambling to get there. But the cache is now replaced with all the hints still applicable.
It is now a 200ml Systema.
Thanks Bushfire for the opportunity.
We are once more on the road today continuing our journey north. Today we are leaving Bowen and making our way towards Townsville, stopping as we are able to grab any accessible caches that pop up on our way.
Once we arrived in town and were set up we had some lunch and then headed out to work on the Adventure Lab caches. We enjoy these as something different and take our opportunities to complete as many as we can. The two we managed today went off without a hitch.
We juggled the GPSr at the same time and also managed to pick up a few other caches as we went/
Thanks go to all the local, and the few not so local, CO’S for placing the caches for us to find. Without you we would have no pursuit to take part in. We appreciate your efforts, and thank you for your time.

We've been 'Bushfired' again! Worked our way round to GZ. Located the heart, all good. Climbed up to the specified area. Searched every hole, but no luck for us!
Firmly believe it has been muggled. I feel like I should claim it just for finding the hole. Oh well
Found with stairman1. Nice walk to the beach. Lot of muggles swimming and enjoying the water. No nudies here today. TFTH

Love the heart a bit windy today, but still beautiful. Thank you fir bringing us here. Ps the travel bug is still there
I remember looking for this cache once before
So I already knew the way to GZ
Yep !! It's just down that gravel driveway,
where the bent over sign is on the right hand side
A lovely stroll by beach and rocks,
soon had me at GZ again.
Clothes optional eh ??
I'll keep mine on
Them rocks are scratchy
Much scrambling ensued,
and after a few minutes I finally spied,
the merest of merest hints of a hide
More scrambling and there I was,
sitting with in reach of the cache
I still couldn't see it from me perch,
but it had to be in there didn't it !!
Ah the familiar feel of Kiwi plastic [^]

But this location's worth a revisit or two.
Preferably when the OAP's ain't about

Tftc Bushfire, it took us a little while to get to GZ , but we did enjoy the views on the way. Checked previous logs and images there helped us locate the area we should be in . Soon after cache in hand and log signed.
No Rudy Nudies today. Followed arrows over rocks, but this was one for geo hubbies rock scrambling skills. Heart hint cool, cache had no treasures, so we left a few. Fav point from us.
There was a bit of trepidation on our hike to GZ. We hadn’t quite got to where we thought was the Nude Beach but had already past one naked muggle sunbaking in all his glory. With head down we decided to keep plodding forward and knew we were close when we saw the clear designated naked beach signage. Obviously it was too far to walk for some muggles. After a bit of tricky foot work we signed the cache while avoiding a family of muggles exploring the rock features, not sure what they thought we were doing hiding in the rocks. Such amazing views on an beautiful calmish day. Thank you for bringing us to such a lovely quaint location. Just wanted to strip off and have a dip, but unfortunately forgot our bathers ??????? TFTAC
MissMetal89 wanted this cache for today so it was next on the list.
We walked up and over and up and over again and again.
At eh beach we saw things we didn't wish to see but i guess thats what happens on the weekend. Opps we didn't read that this one needs a new log book and they are in the car, Maybe the next person can bring one with them.

After some heated discussions about how to get to GZ with my caching team for h The day. After taking the hardest possible route, up and over the massive rocks because it was high tide we finally made it to GZ. Easily had our hands on the cache. Didn’t read the previous log so didn’t have a new logbook with us, signed temp book and left pencil. Climbed back over the rocks and back along the path to the carpark. I Lived in Bowen for a few years and finally got this one. Yay.
We managed the tide ok and clambered to gz. On arrival we found the bottom of the container and on searching around we found the top. It had come out of its hidey hole. We placed some paper in to act as a log and then placed it back to where it should have been. Placed a rock in front as well. Thanks and fav point
What a hot morning of caches. We were only doing a few today so we started off at 0900, did the first couple ok then, a long time DNF then, the wrong way walk over rocks to get to the cache without reading the description.
By the time we got to the last of the day, it felt like we had been going all day. Headed home for some lunch and maybe a little nap.

Managed to keep my clothes on. Ha ha FP for sure. Amazed by Mother Nature's sculpture. T4T$
While staying in Bowen for 3 nights we thoroughly enjoyed checking out the caches in this lovely town, but everyone will thank me that we didn’t need to get naked to find this one.
Geohubby did a bit more mountaineering than he needed to as the hide was actually much closer to the sea than our GPS was telling us

This cache required no stealth but to draw on your inability to turn into a mountain goat. I finally found an approach walking via the nudist beach from the south, this being in high tide so it was necessary to scale this big rocks and keep a level head. Once at GZ found fairly quickly due to good hint photos, the question is do I head back south or continue walking north along the shoreline/rock line back to horseshoe beach. This was a lot harder than I thought especially those big boulders and a muggle in toe. Tftc
Super tricky! My GPS was off so definitely wouldn't have found it without the clues! Tffc
Good grief, we had a couple of attempts to work out how to get to this one. We decided to return at low tide which made things a lot easier. We would never have found it without the hint as none of our devices were bang on, we persevered and eventually recognised one of the clues in the hint and, voila, there was the cache. It ended up being a marathon effort and felt like a real achievement when we signed the log.
I was very surprised when I read the owner of this cache was the legendary Bushfire as it is such a long way from his backyard. Pleased to say I had a nice easy find and that the cache is in good order. Up here from Geelong on LSL and just picking up the odd cache or two on the trip. TFTC
Mplc

We came all the way from Germany to pick up our son, who spent the last six month in the Noosa area as an exchange student, and discover this beautiful country. Obviously, a beautiful Country also has some very cool geocaches....
Today, we came to Bowen from Prosepine. Lovely day, but the strong winds made snorkeling in Horseshoe Bay useless. So we went to the windshielded bay to the left, which was nice and quiet, without anybody around. With the cache close by, I decided to have a little walk and look for it. Unfortunately, I only had basis data downloaded to the phone, so basically the coords and nothing else. But, guess what, the coords are dead on spot and after answering myself the question „where would I hide a cache“ I did a little climbing and bam - there it was!
Such a nice hide, here’s a blue ribbon from my side!
Thanks for the Cache from Mojolucani

We spend the afternoon in Bowen and wanted to see the sunset on the beach. In the meantime we looked for the cache. Was not to easy but we were fortune and did not have to search too long.
Fun find. We walked the hard way, scrub bashing from Horsheshoe Bay. Worth the scratches. TFTC
Found whilst visiting the area for our 20th wedding anniversary, a tricky one for sure! Under around over......but then refering to prior find logs we found the secret. Thanks for the cache!!! Favorite point from us.
After enjoying the sunset last night, we came here this morning to climb the rocks. The son went the right way and already the tin was ours!
What a great place!
TFTC tells MiTaRi to the owner!

Hadn't had any luck with the Bowen caches until this one... bit of a climb but I found it and left a bunch of swag for the next finders. Hope I didn't alarm any of the naturists swimming nearby... I SWEAR I wasn't taking any photos of you!!! TFTC
Awesome rock formations. Great clues. Lid was on ground and log book missing but otherwise cache was exactly where it should be. Left one sheet note paper.
That was quite a good find. Great view and a good challenge to get to. Thank you very much for the find, from the walking mystery, Lumi Ari. PS. I think someone added a pen, found one with the geocache
Found the container easy enough but my next thought was how was I going to get up there as height is not an attribute I hold but managed to reach up to make grab. Clues definitely helped. Giving a favourite.
Lots of people out and about on the first weekend of the school holidays. The nude beach though was almost empty. TFTC.
Woohoo found it Josh kale deegan and amanda!! Boys goi g back to sunny coast today!!
Impromptu trip to Bowen to boost the numbers.
I enjoyed skipping around the rocks despite the 38 degree heat.
Physical challenge, beautiful spot and interesting hide. This is what geocaching is all about for me.
Tftc. Favourite point.
