Hi there DnA!.

Fantastic idea & I was really excited, but sadly I had no luck finding it today. I thought I knew where it should be but the spot was empty. I could easily have been wrong though. It was quite warm & as I had 3 kids under 6 with me, we didn't want to look around in the bush too much in case of snakes. Hope to look again sometime soon.
Hi DnA! thanks for this cache and the exchange idea. Bit of a quick decision to come here this morning, whilst already on the road, so came without a recipe to leave. I will msg you one separately afterwards.
Along with jne ep, we found the 3 caches that I missed getting on my visit to this area late last year.
THANKS.

Luckily I always have my favourite chocolate mousse recipe in my head . Nice idea. TFTC
Heading out of town after a two day visit with family and a quick stop here as we head up the East Coast. A great idea for a cache. Didn't come prepared with a recipe so I didn't take one. Definitely deserves a favourite. TFTC

While on my trip around Tasmania looking for caches, this one was found.
After finding Playtime, I was heading back to the car but made a slight detour so that I could have a look for this one, once at GZ the search began, a short time later the hidey hole was found and the logbook was signed.
**Thanks to DnA! for placing this cache.**
This was a nice easy start of a an afternoon of geocaching in the area. TNLN, TFTC.
THIS is a banger of an idea ....
As I was walking towards it I read the name and thought "wow how cool would it be if I made a cache where I placed a folder in it with recipes for people to take !!"
DEEERRRRR!!
I thought I was clever for a minute and then realised I was beaten, very clever and I did t take any as I didn't have anything to drop in but I will be back.
ALSO since I found this area so lovely I've decide my birdhouse cache will be placed here very soon not far away.
LOVE LOVE LOVE.

A 10 day trip to Tasmania with a lot more caching then initially expected, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This was one of the many caches I found and enjoyed. Can't wait to get back here and do it all over again, there are so many great places in Tasmania.

We spent this morning geocaching with deercheetah in wonderful winter sun. This was a good novel idea for a cache and there are plenty of good recipes still there for swapping. We enjoyed the nice easy walk to G Z Thank you for the cache DnA!
Cache zombified.
Quick find, my first time here at Meehan. Will have to bring the bike and clean up the rest around the area. Not a cook so tnln. Cache in good order.
Tftc from ZombieCats.

Great weather for a walk in the hills to collect a set of caches. Began with this one. Left a Barramundi recipe and took a lamb's fry one (a bit selfish because Lady membsec hates kidney so will have to wait until home alone!). Good spot and cache in good order.

While Knights #1 and #4 were in melbourne the Knight Rider (Knight #3) went to the Meehan Ranges to pick up a few caches (on his mountain bike).
This one was a quick find that he got within seconds of making it to GZ. Unfortunately he had no recipe. TFTC.

We forgot to bring a recipe to leave, but Sue liked Red Tag's muffin so took a copy. TFTC DnA!
On the eastern shore of the Derwent River the Meehan Range offers quite a number of walks and we decided that the Meehan geocache series would constitute quite a good one as well as allow a swag of caches to be attempted.
Things didn’t go quite as expected because we were looking for a bike track going uphill near an old munitions store site and missed it. A cement base was eventually spotted but no bike track and we decided to just climb up the slope through the bush, a 180 metre height gain. It was only on the return walk that it was realised there was a track that had been put in since our previous visit; this would have allowed us to do the walk in reverse.
The main drawback from the way we went was that the first two caches had already been bypassed and this necessitated a 450 metre each way double back to collect them. From then on it was easy walking along and over Simmons Hill then down the switchbacks of the fairly new bike track, which still had the track makers ribbons attached to trees. In all a 10.75k walk.

I stopped nearby on my way home today and wandered up to log this cache between showers of rain. I didn't bring a recipe with me, but I will email a copy of my 'Microwave Mug Cake' recipe to DnA! so that they can add it to the recipes in the cache container.
Very busy track with lots of bike riders and dog walkers. Managed to sneak off the track without being seen! Intersting area- never been before. TFTC
A nice hike in the bush to find this one. Some nice recipes here but had none to exchange, so took nothing either. tftc
This was our first visit into this area. We came in particular to look for another cache but, as this was close by, we added this one to our list before nightfall. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Our contribution to the recipes: Chocolate Apple Cake - family favourite with a long tradition. TFTC DnA!
Cache was warmup for run. Navigated right to it. Helped by recent fire. Easy to spot. Didn't take any recipes as was on run. Even though they looked good! THX,lee

Nice quick dash through the scrub. Cool spot. Kids furiously looking under corrigated iron to no avail - watch out for the spiders. Didn't take or leave anything.
Found 17:15. Thanks for an enjoyable walk. Did not come prepared so I will send Choc Hazelnut slice to DnA. Thanks for the cache.
Great spot on this 33C day. I wonder if there was a house or shed here once. I like the wattle Xmas tree idea. We took a chocolate cake in the mug recipe. If I could have added one it would have been beer can chicken. TFTC
Had be wanting to do tbis for ages and the opportunity arose today. Unfortunately did not have any recipes to exchange. TNLN Thanks for the cache
Out for another day of caching while the weather is still pretty good. Nice one. Thanks DnA
An easy find (good) while in the area. The theme is excellent although we did not avail ourselves of a recipe. TNLN. Many thanks.
Found at night fall, nice spot but lots of mozzies, didn't have a recipe to swap.
Did not read enough before coming so no recipe to deposit, sorry. An evening stroll brought us to the cache. Getting too dark to read anyway so we will have to come again when better light. TNLN.

What a great idea. Unfortunately I was not prepared with any recipes to leave but can't wait to try the recipes that I copied down. TFTC
A quick easy find but unfortunately we were not prepared and had no recipes to swap. Mind you that was probably a good thing as Mr B is a hopeless cook and Mrs B isn't much better. Thanks.
As usual, the way back was far easier than the way we went in. It doesn't always pay to walk left just because the GPSr swings in that direction!! TNLN. TFTC
This was #26 of 28 finds on a rather wet last day caching in Tassie. I got a little wet walking to this one, I was glad the hide was obvious as I needed a quick find to get back out of the rain. My thanks to DnA! for the cache.
I had prepared recipes for this cache prior to leaving Perth but must have put them someplace real 'safe' because I couldn't find them today!
Enjoyed the walk to gz but had to make a dash back to the car after logging the find when it started to rain heavily.
Took: TB

Fantastic little spot, and a great cache to boot. After perusing some of the recipes, I will return here in about three weeks with some of my own to insert and swap. Mass TB and GC swap today (mostly hungry animals!), thanks for the great cache!
Note for future finders, please keep both Harry and Charlie trackables together when moving on.

I like the idea of these swapping caches but as a traveller I wasn't carrying anything to swap.
Picked up lots of grass seeds on the way though.
Nice to get out and stretch the legs.
Thanks
