Logs
The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
He he, too ages to solve this one Nice to grab this one as it has been in the solved pile since 2012 MEGA.
Thanks for the cache.

Found along with TW and TG. Thanks.
Canterbury show weekend and time for our annual road trip to some place with plenty of boxes to find. One player short this year as PurdiePurdie got a better offer over the Tasman, (no not another MEGA).
TheWanglers, Team Gaters and I took off at 4:45am for Dunedin for a weekend of fun frivolity and finds. The plan was to get as many as we could, while still having a good old time, which we managed in abundance. Logs were generally signed kaTT, which actually should read ka pai, but I can not seem to get pi as a symbol.
A great time was had by all.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Missed this on an earlier safari. I may have been expecting something different.
TB left for the next to venture into the bush.

In Timaru for a wee family weekend getaway. This puzzle has always mademescratch my head.....on looking at it recently ,seeing the recent finds, I pondered "I wonder"......this morning had us nearby to GZ so had a look....and came up trumps. Niceone. Cheers.
I did not understand the clues, but went for a look anyway, and got lucky. Found as I was just starting to leave the area. No need to climb that bank, thank goodness. TFTC.
nicely hidden, scrambled around for awhile up and down the bank until I spotted it tftc
All straight forward. Had a few strange looks when I came out of the bushes holding a touch.
Finally Found it!
on our second attempt to locate this tricky one.
[}:]
co -ordinates were ok, but the mystery remains with the hints and notes! what a mouthful!
Thanks to Dr. Beaker with his help.
logbook was wet so a new sheet was added.

TFTC! quick find, didn't even fall down
Incidentally, the container isn't a 600 ml. More like a 300-400 ml I would guess.

Yes well, was just about to move on when I spotted it, rather damp but log book dry enough to sign. TFTC
Second cache for today found rather quickly (got lucky) as i lay down to hide from passing muggles. While lying there "in a hippo like fashion" i spotted the tiniest bit of the cache.
great hide.. was a good challenge.
Thankfully one of our group didn't suffer from molysmophobia!
no hippos spotted either.

Cache was quite visible, so an easy find. Tried to hide it a bit better, hope it is not too good now.
Found on a day of caching through Centennial park with my niece and nephew + bouncy ball + the joker figurine SL TFTC
I didn't have a clue with this one, so just followed StreetWalkerNZ. Didn't quite make it to GZ, though, but did sign the logbook. TFTC.
#1082 (3/12 Chch -> Oamaru). Took a bit of finding (hint not especially useful). TFTC.
Solved and then quickly in hand..this area has a high percentage of puzzle caches!! Not usually my favourite form of caching but still very satisfying to finally come here and complete some of my pottering from home!!!
The last of the day, a nice easy puzzle to finish the day on. A quick search soon had the goods in hand. TNLN Thanks.
Well overdue for a logging session - will have to get better at logging! TFTC

I didn't understand any of those words. Has a hippopotomus ever visted Timaru? I was going to use other big words here but my dying brain cells can't recall any so I'll just say, "Thanks for the cache".
Initially stumped by the polysyllabic profundity, pompous prolixity, psittaceous vacuity ventriloquial verbosity, and vaniloquent vapidity, my excogitative perspicacious contemplation of the parsimonious grandiose confabulations of this pertinent efficacious communication did eventually discern the compacted comprehensibleness, coalescent consistency, and concatenated cogency allowing for the commisioning of an expeditious enterprise and subsequent rendezvous with the cache rather than the opprobrious contradistinction of a DNF
