Heading out for a new multi nearby, we happened to have a few archived caches in our sights and loaded up into the gizmos . We parked as close as we could on a rocky shelf nearby, and with my broken foot, that was as far as i managed. Luckily Janine was up for a wee bushbash, so me and the boys checked out the burnt out car where we parked while the cache was found and signed.

Forgot to mention. Log book is damp and a bit mouldy. Next cacher, if there is one, might want to bring a replacement log book. I didn't have one with me. Cache is otherwise in good condition and no more water should get in.
On a mission to dispose of a death adder today, I decided to grab a few Wandoo caches and some others as well. This one was a bit of a bonus as I had planned my caching run on GC.COM and of course this cache was no longer there ... but it is still in my GSAK dtabase and hence on my GPSr. It had been in my sights previously, so I was pleasantly surprised when it popped up again today.
SL. Thanks for the hide Mischief's Crew and RIP Jed.

Traveled the Brookton Highway, to make a start on the Wandoo Series.
Picked this one up as part of our travels.
This was more of an adventure than a stroll in the bush.
A quick find, and a very enjoyable day of caching.
Many thanks for the cache, Mischief's Crew.

A quick break from the Wandoo series. Managed to get the rental car fairly close, and bush bashed to GZ. Nice big cache.

Called in with Gypsy Roaming to this cache on the way home from the Wandoo series.
We replaced the log book, put the old one in a large zip lock and left a couple of doggie toys.

Like the last few logs the cache and log book are a bit yucky! But we enjoyed it all the same so TFTC
6774 + 843 = 7617. In the West again for work with a couple of days free for Caching ! Today I (mainly) started on the Wandoo Series...
Having had two wonderful dogs while I grew up I understand how you feel. Did the quick detour to grab this cache. Needs a bit of maintenance.
Thanks Mischief's Crew !!

Found ok but as indicated in previous recent logs the cache is badly in need of attention. the log book is soaked and the mould spreading rapidly.
I was driving out along Brookton Highway to complete the Wandoo Series. This cache has been on my "To find" list since I first started caching over 3000 finds ago.
Sadly, I chose to put to sleep my almost 15 year old kelpie heeler cross a little over 3 months ago. It was the most heartbreaking day of my life. I know I will never have a better friend than I had in my dog. His name was Jed!
Mickeydv and I found a great little track that lead to within less than 100m of the cache. The walk to GZ was through sparse low shrubs. As mentioned in prior logs, the cache has deteriorated badly. We didn't even attempt to open the mouldy log book, listing our names as best as possible on the back cover of the log. I suspect your interest in caching has long waned (as is understandable) and I am very sorry that I did not have equipment with me to honour the memory of your and my Jeds by maintaining this cache.
Thank you for helping keep the millions of wonderful memories of my Jed alive; I wish dearly that I had pictures of my Jed of the quality shown on your listing. Thanks for the cache Mischief's Crew.

Found it but its in a real mess it's all wet and mouldy and the log is unsignable ??
Headed for this one throught the bush after finding one of the nearby Wandoo series caches. Having made it to GZ I was greeted with a very damp mouldy log and an equally grubby cache. Not sure I would bring with me my dog to find this one...if I had one. TFTC.
1st for the day and we were met with a very very wet cache. Unfortunately the log is saturated and starting to get moldy and to the point were couldn't enter a log. I think the book is beyond drying to save it. Sorry we didn't have anything with us to try and rectify it.
Out doing the wandoo series today, noticed it was so close so we headed into the bush once we found GZ it was a quick find only to find the contents damp TFTC!
Was nearby doing some other caches and ducked in to check this one out. After trecking thru the bush in shorts we were starting to itch a bit. Luckily found quickly and SL. TFTC. Left PT.
[:(!] Did a morning caching run with Akshay.in to get a bit more of the Wandoo Series done and fitted this cache in also, parked the car close as possible to GZ and we walked in from there to cache, within a couple of minutes we had the cache in hand, the contents are very damp and the log book with the photo's have blended into the damp pages, needs urgent maintenance. On a nice sunny day I took the opportunity to do more of the Wandoo Series and finish off AlliedOz’s section which I started on the release day. I’m now about halfway having completed Keego and Chil’s section earlier in the month. A variety of caches and hides made for great caching.
I pick up some other caches along the way. Nice walk through the bush, the contents and log are wet and need maintenance.
Thanks Mischief's Crew.

Found the track in to get us closer to gz but a shame to see all the rubbish dumped along the track. Made our way through the scrub to gz to find a very sodden cache container. As the owners don't seem to have logged in since Sept last year, perhaps the next cacher in could replace the container to something that is water tight.
Quite a special find. We liked the thoughtfull book that was inside and read out loud some of the words therein. It was however sad to see the state of the book, it appears that it is quite water logged. The kids almost gave up due to the prickly bushes on the way... but we made it in the end.
OK This was weird!..After the nice easy stroll along the cycle path then the short walk across the scrubby bush on this glorious Winter Day, we quickly found the cache site. Oh no!..contents spread all over the floor, very damp logbook and all, but no container! With no container to use as a replacement we were ready to bring it all home with us, but then about 20 metres away we spotted some rubbish which included a plastic tub complete with lid...Cool! Have placed it back where i think the origional spot was and covered in with Rocks.
There was also a white bucket stuffed with bottles etc and we were considering how best to carry it back out with us when I spotted something not right in a Grasstree a further 20 or so metres away.
I was amazed to see that it was a 9KG Gas bottle!..after dragging it out and finding it in almost brand new condition i cracked the valve..yup! had gas in it..i picked it up and i reckon it was full too. Checked the date stamp and found it had 6 years left on the test date..WTF?!
Anyway carried back to the car...passed a cyclist on the way who gave me a strange look..LOL..
I hope the logbook dries out in its new home but it might suffer with mould in its new home, it dried a bit while we were there, but not fully.

Easay find on our way out of Perth to travel over East. Picked up TB to travel on. Thanks
Picked up 'Rainbow Bridge' from the first cache I placed only a few days ago. With a memory to a dog taken at a young age from the owners 'team cupcake oz' I thought K9 would be a lovely place to set it. But, on looking back from when I visited the cache almost 6 months ago I found that a TB I left there was still there and only 2 geocachers had visited the cache. I decided to pick up 'Honey Bear' TB yet again and just gave 'Rainbow Bridge' a quick visit with my 2 kelpies of course.
You may want to visit the cache as the area is becoming so dense since my last visit and I can see it in another 6 months not being possible to find.

An easy find though I think I walked the hard way between car and cache. Did take me a little looking to find, but wasn't hard work. Took a moment to think of a loyal dog I once owned.
Great hide this one, our German Shepard sniffed this one out for us she went straight to it, we left a doggy dumbell and took note book. thanks for the hide.
Enjoyed the bush bash with Mrs Mjayrippa (while Mr. Mjrippa waited with the bub and the car), a lovely spot not far from home.
Found after a little bit of searching.

Can park as close as 100m to cache but why miss out on the lovely flat walk in from Brookton highway. Found cache after a short search. TNL 'doggie notepads' and TB Honey bear, closest TB I had in my possession to a dog. It took me almost as long to re-pack the cache as it did for me to find it! Sorry to whoever put in 'doggie paper clip holder, I had to remove the packaging to fit everything in as 'Honey Bear' is quite big.
Geodogs Red and Kevin had a great time they were 'kings of the Castle'. I can understand why you chose this place for Jed and what a lovely idea.

For those that like to walk on flat ground this is a winner. The way in follows a mountain bike track until the last 100m then its only slightly uphill to the cache although we did need to pick our way through the bushes.
We retrieved the Pumpkin Geocoin while there.
Someone has placed a old hammer on the cache. How do these things end up way out in the middle of nowhere?
Thanks for the nice easy walk

A nice bit of bushland - we drove to quite close to the cache - then it was just a short walk. Left gc and took gc. Thanks Mischief's Crew
Thanks for bringing us to this lovely bit of bush. And thanks for sharing memories of Jed with us too. Litte Stroopid had to stay home as it was a bit too hot for him.
Weren't really dressed for bashing through the scrub but made it in the end. The hard part was the 300 or so yellow spiders with little black horns who had decided that making their webs at face level directly between us and the cache was a good idea.
Left- Dog Jacket with Lights (+batteries) for small dog and FTF coin
Took- Incense holder.

A lovely walk in from the highway, though I didn't notice any signs saying that you couldn't drive in as well. I found the cache easily enough with it's location 'giveaway'. Swaps were made, but I don't remember what. Thanks to Mischief's Crew for bring me to this beautiful bushland.
Seventh and last cache for the day, to hot to find more (around 40) this was another good hide T.2x geocoins and Leash L.Dolly
An enjoyable find, especially for a beginner like myself. Nearly stepped on a Bobtail navigating thru the brush..good job it wasn't a snake.
TNLN....had fun..

Our first for the month and once again our ability to take a Terrain: ** and turn it into a Terrain: **** is uncanny. The poor dog nearly passed out when we finally pushed our way through the scrub.
A nice hide, and as it would happen the reason we come out this way was in the cache. A big thanks to NurseGIRL of Team Fireboy. My first PT and one from the wild is even better.
Took: PT, and the dog finger puppet that looked suspiciously like a bear
Left: a bag of 20 small snakes as we were lacking anything remotely doggie like in our "drop off stash"
TFTC nice one.

Here at this cache to see where Mischief's crew had found their mystery coin. Nice cache placement. Very much in the "bush". I had a good time while caching in Western Australia and I will be sad to go. I know I will have plenty of caches to do when I come back to this area. Jude..thank you for such a wonderful time! TNSL Left my Pathtag. Jodi of Team Fireboy AKA NurseGIRL
Well we came to do a drop off of a couple of GCs at this cache. Both being doggy coins, one for Jed (Jed's Search & Rescue GC) and one for Amber (Amber's Gone to the Dogs GC), so this cache had to be their starting point. Two special coins for my special babies.
Well we got a wonderful surprise at the same time. The Geo Sasquatch has visited here. I had to read the card a few times as I thought it was telling me I could Keep the coin and didn't believe it. So of course I grabbed it and looked on the net and yep it said it again. So sorry guys, but I am keeping it, MY VERY FIRST MYSTERY COIN. How exciting is that. I am so wrapped.
Thanks for visiting Geo Sasquatch you have made me very very happy.

An easy find on a beautiful day. Took puppy stickers and left the dog-that-looks-suspiciously-like-a-bear finger puppet.
Wow! So many dog-related items in the cache! We went straight in -- but it was much easier coming out, following tracks and clearings. Flowers were beautiful.
Bill the Geomutt and I enjoyed our walk from Death Adder Creek, but he was glad of the pools of water at Boulder Rock on our return. Nice warm Spring day, perfect for my first Geocaches for a looong time.
Took the tennis ball and the Geocoin (I'm off to Tassie next week)
Left Dog Shampoo, and Puppy stickers I picked up at Obsessive which probably came from here !

The cache was so full that everything jumped out like a jack in the box when we opened it, I'm sure that we were standing in the pouring rain for at lease a 1/2 hour trying to get it all back in again (and that's only a SLIGHT exaggeration).
Bonnnie loved the tennis ball so we left a Scottie Dog paper clip tray in exchange. Thanx for the great cache Mischief's crew, honestly we mean it. [see photo]

Found on way home from Orienteering Championships near Beverley. Nice to get a 2TF! Box stuffed full of doggy things. Good job Lady Ultravet wasn't with me - there'd have been tears - our little Maltese had to be put down a few months ago and the reminders still hurt. I therefore TNLN but grabbed the Binky TB. TFTH
After visiting the other two caches I walked into this one and found my second blank log book for today. I left some key tags and claimed the FTF prize. I also took the geocoin.

Went out with Mischief's Crew today for some cache hiding. This looked like a nice spot so we walked around for a while searching for a good location, and soon found the perfect spot to hide an ammo can. I discovered 'Mischief's Celtic Peacock' Geocoin at the cache while I was here.
