Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Went to check on this one but could not get access due to roadworks currently underway. As it is not safe to stop anywhere near the cache location, I will disable this until the roadworks are finished.
Maybe the guards took this one thinking it was international intelligence tracking?? No where to be found unfortunately
Searched with another Geocacher. Neither of us found it. This was our only 'Didn't find it' today.
Four small kids and lots of fast cars do not make for good caching so we gave up before we even gave it a real go.
Cops showed up after about 1 minute & didn't really buy my 'contact lense' story! Will be back, but not sure about the co-ords
Came here this afternoon and parked the geo mobile close for cover. I knew where it had to be, but was it actually there? Finally had a giggle when getting right in, "oh it is there!" Pulled the little fellow from its hiding spot that had eluded me on a previous crack at this cache when two of us together were thwarted.
Back to the cover of the car to carefully sign and replace the log back in the container. An excellent challenge that has been tantalisingly close and yet so far for too long. Today triumph!
Many thanks Gigglygecko Clan, feeling very happy now to have this smilie.
Cheers

732. Tricky, tricky, tricky. Was just about to phone a friend and BINGO. Sunday afternoon was a good time to check out this one. TFTC.
Desperately needs new log paper : we filled in a space only because one other had faded away.
Plenty of suspicious looks from Fairbairn traffic - maybe the fact that one of the geokids was playing his new trumpet

This is the second look for me and the first for the wife and bingo there it was a tricky little fellow. With the cache in hand and the log signed it is off to the next one. TFTC. Cheers
A quick stop here had us doing a small bee dance before a AFP car drove pass. I had looking in the most likey spot but Code 1 looked in those other spots. It wasn't long before we were on our way again. Funny how no one really pays any attention to what you are doing.
JABs.

Went to the hint after the co-ords had us in the middle of the road.
Still took a bit to locate this one, in the most likely spot, as the planes came and went.

Anzac Day was the ninth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. The day was fine but, at times, a very cold wind was blowing. As it was a public holiday, it was an ideal time to tour around the centre of Canberra to complete the Canberra Virtual Tour series – with the exception of the National War Memorial, we were able to complete these before going off to the Anzac Day March and Service. We then visited MtBikerOz before heading off to complete the data collection for the ACT windmills in Great Aussie Icon Hunt series. Finally we were able to find a few caches. Overall, a very busy and enjoyable day.
Yesterday we started the multicache "GC2R06P Canberra ILS". Today we continued to work through the waypoints but, as we did, we noticed this cache near to one of the waypoints. So we interrupted our multi to look for this cache. Our GPS placed GZ in the middle of a road but the hint suggested a particular nearby location. It took a number of minutes of feeling around various objects before the cache was felt. It took some patience to retrieve - smaller fingers may have helped. But, the cache was retrieved, log signed and the cache rehidden without any further difficulties. TFTC Gigglygecko Clan

Back again this time with Geo Daughter and Geo Son-in-Law. Had worked out where it should be on the last visit. Took a while to find sneaky hide and yes it is still there

Took some looking BUT eventually found the booty! Searched with Geowife and Geofather (his third return) and with persistence came up with the goods. Let your fingers do the talking! Great hide, TFTC.
Found on my return trip to QLD from the OZ Mega event in Albury/Wodonga. TFTC.
Coords had it in the middle of the road, so we checked the hint and we searched all along the barrier and no luck. Maybe next time.

A tough one! We hadn't been searching long when the Police showed up and asked us what we were up to! Guess it looked a bit suss hanging around near the airport!
After quite a bit of searching we were still empty handed.
We went back to the car, ready to leave and had a read though the description and logs one more time.
Decided to give it one last look and found it! Sneaky sneaky hiding spot!

This one has been a nemesis for quite some time. Haven't had a look for it for well over a year but since I was in the area today I thought I would have another look. Wonder why I couldn't find it before, it wasn't that hard in the end.....sometimes I wonder!

Once we looked at the clue to work where it was as the coordinates took us to the centre of the road. Great place as we did not even know there wad a dragway there until we read this cache. TFTC
Found it with RubyRocket & Captain Uder. This one really got us at first, but every good hide. Thanks.
We did our research on this one given google maps puts it in the middle of the road. The old logs help narrow down the area to allow a detailed local search. No sign of security today and we soon uncovered the nano. SL and replaced. TFtC
Cache find #1600, and #$!@ did we have to work for it. While a relatively quiet day along the road we searched and searched and searched, almost gave up, and then went back for that "one more look". Indeed, the coords brought us to the middle of the road, but the clue narrowed down its location very quickly (yes, it's there. So don't waste your time elsewhere!). After scouring and scouring, we finally came up roses. Of course, the exact location had crossed one of our minds shortly after arriving, but never followed through with it because of a very angry looking cob web. GREAT HIDE. Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
Wow, this one took a while. Just as we were about to give up, we had a good think about the clue and "hey presto" cache in hand. It really is a tricky one. TFTC
Couldn't Find second time tonight i've been questioned by security again he was nice enough but i decided to move on and away from the airport.
Came to look at dusk (which didnt help) but even with the car headlights I could't find it. I'll be back!
This was the second time looking for this cache. Glad to knock it off the DNF list today. A quick find in the end. Must have had cache blindness last time.

Took some searching as co-ords put you in the middle of the road. The hint gives a clear GZ though and after a little poking had the cache in hand.
Thanks For The Cache

Today was Friday 13th [Black Friday] and we were lucky enough to find 13 caches today! This was our second for the day. This one took us a little while, the passing traffic didn’t help. The hint helped us in the end and we had the cache in hand. TNLNSL TFTC
2nd attempt at this one after much discussion with Oz Lurker. It helps to take the blinkers off and not doing it on a week day when there isn't heaps of traffic, makes searching a lot easier.
Quick find by FurfacesLL No 1 while No 2 sat in the car out of the rain...

H & R hadnt found this due to time and fading light. R brought L back and her sharp eyes spied the prize!!! TFTC
In spite of cold and wet weather today we didn't want it to stop us from hunting a few caches ...Mr Bushies2 found it after a short search. Thanks Gigglygecko Clan.
Ironically it took me longer to put the log back in the case then it did for me to find it this time
Searched and searched and searched and searched some more. Even felt the location without finding the cache. Finally shinydragon went for one last look and spotted the cache.
It is on the side of the road you'd think, even if the GPSr thinks the middle of the road is a better spot!

Searched for quite a while being annoyed at not knowing which side to search and the_proton was getting increasingly paranoid about being sprung by law people so that was rubbing off onto me as well. We got back into the car and scoured the logs. I couldn't stand being so near and not being able to find it so I said "let's go have another quick look" but went it alone. I searched all the relevant objects around and was getting too far away so went with our original gut instinct and looked until I found it. I brought it back to the car for signing and said "thought you were coming" got a puppy dog look and revealed the cache, hurrah! TFTC.
Co-ords say its in the middle of the road.....searched high and low for about 20mins to no avail
#$$@%!!! After 10 mins found this one. And true to form - first place I looked, when I looked a year ago. Nice hide though I would suggest redo on coords to indicate a side of road. Bit to busy at times to be crossing. SL TFTC
But it was not on the low road!
Junior Bam also LOVED the planes coming and going! TFTC.

FTF!!! Well, FTF the new log sheet. That must count for something. Found after dropping Geowife at the airport. TFTC
Plenty of cars coming and going on a Sat morn and even had one Muggle stop to see if I was ok as I was just hanging around for a quiet time but managed to get the cache and move on - could not sign and the log is full and I dont carry around Nano Logs....
Love a bit of plane spotting and this was a perfect spot, we tried not to look to suspicious but torches at night along this road would have looked very suspicious but we still didn't get stopped by security (though I'm pretty sure they drove past) . Quick find after we actually searcher the correct side...ooops . TFTC
Found by H and The Empire
My tour guide was showing me the sights of Canberra, which were all very beautiful and I was gaining a lot of knowledge from The Empire about our nation's capital. We went to the war memorial and spent most of our time there today.
This is one of a few we got today.

Discovering our nations capital today, The War Memorial took up most of the day today. I have been there co-ordinating grade 6 camp but taking 63 kids through the memorial is not the same as strolling through yourself. There was only enough daylight for a couple of finds and this was one of them. Planes coming and going quickly tonight, thanks for the cache, Gigglygecko Clan.

Found this after a previous DNF. Funny how I searched for a good 10 minutes the first time I tried a few months ago, but found it the first place I looked this time! TFTC.
No problems with muggles, took geokid along to look at the planes take off, TFTC
There were so many spiders around the cache area - little ones with really pretty colours and Zita got caught in a couple of webs trying to look behind things. We resorted to the clue for this one after looking for a little while and Enzo spotted the tiny hide in the first place Zita looked!! All is in good condition, TFTC
No probs with security, just the huge trucks fanging along this road as if it were the speedway. tftc
I remember visiting here when it was operating. Very light traffic (road and air) today, TNLNSL.
I had a go at this yonks ago, before I knew what a magnetic nano looked like. No probs this time except I had to turn and watch a number of planes land and take off. More time was spent on re-inserting the log !
Found by SirJ-Oz while I was dealing with work stuff on the phone. TNLN, had the log signed for me.
It was a pretty easy find but it took a few minutes. The clue really helped. We saw a couple of planes taking off as well. Cool area and hiding spot. This was our 300th cache. TFTC.
Nice easy one, found it leaving my last job for the week, thanks again for a nice easy find.
A quick find prior to dropping Nana off at the airport.
Somehow I managed to squeeze a great big geocoin into the tiny little cache .

Thank heavens - something easy that I found straight away. After the rest of my morning it was lovely!!! TFTC.
(49) Found early this morning...drove up to the GZ in the velocopede and before the geo-family was out of the car Geo-mum had the cache in hand....nice quick find. Spent the mext 15 mins or so watching half a dozen large aircraft land and launch. TFTC
A quick drive by find while out touring with the geo-wife. Boy this is really small, lucky I had my glasses. Thanks Gigglygecko Clan. TFTC
A quick find on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Managed to go staight to the spot. TFTC
