Looks like the great safe robbers have been here and taken off with the heist.
Some things are not as safe as they once were.
I revisited this spot to waymark the trig point nearby and get scouter 101 to sign sign the log.
There's now a shiny new tower and no sign of the old hide.

Hmmm ok will have to get this one checked out I am in the UK now looks like this one may have to be achived.
Thought we would attempt this one on our way back to warrnambool. Took a bit to find as not sure how you would fit a swap in the cache container. Nice hide though. No trackable to be found. Tftc
Found on way to work in Mt Gambier.
Easy find once the hint was worked out.

First find for our Melbourne trip and we were also first to find for the replacement cache. Lovely spot and it was great explaining to the geokiddies what it was all about. As we got closer a mob of kangaroos all came out of the woods was very exciting to see. Nice spot at 8am in the morning. Cache was laying on the ground as the Velcro had lost it stick so we jammed it back where we believe it came from so will need a bit of maintenance sorry. Did what we could for you but limited to what we had on us. TFTC TNLN SL Team Caching at it’s best ~ The Rhyan Clan, Team Scallywag and The Wild Gang.
Team caching at it’s best as we were out and about with Team Scallywag and They Rhyan Clan. TFTC TNLN SL
Team Caching at it's best with 100% success rate 20 out of 20 caches done and dusted today all with happy smiley faces wahoooooooooooooo!!! TFTC, TFTMemories, TNLN SL with The Rhyan Clan and The Wild gang on our trip to Melbourne!!!!
The culprits were apprehended and the cache has been retreived. Many thanks to Team Freddo for spotting them.
AS the previous DNFers explained, we knew where the cache had to be. We were 99% sure. The 1% told us this was the other possibility (pic).
Clear skies too!! [^]
first and only DNF for the day
After discussions with previous finders at the SECS event it was confirmed that it's definately gone.
But there is some nice new paint on the came!
Cheers

Awesome cache location. Brilliant. We felt in the space and took pictures. Nothing. A later discussions with previous finders told us it is gone.
The view from the top must be great. No one there today though.
Wonder what they would say if they looked down as the cache was being found?
Nice hide.

Found by Mary & David at 0940. Hard to imagine how necessary these towers are on a cold day like today. A quick find, then we enjoyed the views. Collected 'Team Firesafe Geocoin #15'. Our thanks to pamir52.
Time - 7.20pm

It was a good view here from gz , it must be magnificent up in the tower. We have had the good fortune to be shown around one of these fire towers and it's quite interesting to see how they triangulate where the fires are between the towers but you would have to enjoy your own company to stay at this job long term. Once at gz the cache name changed from one of safety to one of amusement
We took the coin
Thanks Pamir52 for the cache

Found 10:50, our first physical cache for the day. It also provided an ideal location for us to leave a cache of fruit, whilst we made a quick dash across the border to collect a couple of earth caches.
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks pamir52

I wasn't sure if my hire car was allowed to trundle along here but we did it anyway! Pity we couldn't climb the tower - would've been a great view!
A quick find on the way back to the airport from a visit to relatives in Mt Gambier. Left Fireman TB - I thought that was the perfect spot!
A quick and easy find. Another good cache to break up an otherwise tedious drive. TFTC.
The spot was fairly obvious as we approached, but the cache is well hidden, nonetheless. The burning question is, why is there a safe here, and what's in it? Gold? Money? We tried to crack it to find out, but evidently my safe-cracking skills were lacking today and we had to leave empty-handed. Took a coin. TFTC.
Found at 10.30am on a drive with my 84 yr old mother in law.
An easy find, left a geocoin
