While camping at Mt Clay, just outside Portland, we went on a run to Port Fairy. On the way back stopped at the wind farm lookout to show the 4Bs.
M made comment that this was an ideal place for a cache. We all agreed.
My query of this part of Victoria, uploaded before we left Adalaide, didn't show any in the area but I may not have covered this far East.
We had a look in the likely spots and quickly found it safe and well. Signed log and recorded CG number to find when we got home.
I think we found the cache quicker than I could find this archived listing.
It is a shame it is gone, perhaps someone else, more local than I, could adopt it.
Anyway, TFTC

Sorry I don't travel out this way as much as I used to and there for can't make sure it's there or uphold maintenance! Wind farm is still a very interesting stop for your travels.
Having picked up mogni, our weekend caching Team name became BAMO ( brisal5, Aussie M & M, mogni and Owl). We were going from Mount Gambier to Geelong, caching in Geelong and then back home again.
As BAMO helped replace this cache as we were passing by and mogni had organised to fix the cache. All good to go now. TFTC.

Found on the way to the Geelong event in the company of Brisal5, Aussie M&M and Mogni. The easiest way to complete a multi is to be in the company of a previous finder (Mogni) who was doing cache maintenance. The containers was completely missing, so it is now replaced and the guardian has something to guard.
Heading to Geelong for a Geocaching weekend I was the rose in the thorns of brisal5, Aussie M&M, mogni and Dr. Owl. (BAMO). Of course cache clearing on the way for 1, 2, 3 or sometimes all 4 of the group.
Found it!...wasn't that hard really as it was one I had prepared earlier and brought from Adelaide for mogni to do cache maintenance with. The guardian is a beauty. Thanks montyab

The coords were taking me to the middle of the highway...not a good place to hang around looking for clues. There was a QR reader tag on the Crow and I wondered if this was relevant to this cache but as I don't have an iPhone it wasn't much use to me. Everything was very wet due to the recent bad weather.
Stopped off here to get a closer look at the wind farm (although the junior members seemed more interested in the cows!) Wow those turbines are big!! A cache hidden nearby was a bonus - even if it's not a multi as advertised. Retrieved the cache, signed the log and performed a little maintenance, and returned the cache during breaks in the traffic. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Really needs a new container. The existing log was getting a bit soggy so placed a new log in a new zip lock bag in the cache. Hopefully it manages to stay dry.
Found in the end with the hint. The co-ordinates are a little off and its not a MULTI!!! TFTC

Nice easy find. Unfortunately, this cache is broken and some of the contents wet. Tried to place it and cover as well as possible to limit the exposure to the elements. This cache is not a multi, it should be listed as a traditional. TFTC montyab.
Found this one during our month long tour of SE Australia. It is our intention to find as many caches as possible during our stay and as a result logistics dictate that this generic log will have to suffice .Hope the cache owners, to whom we extend our gratitude for their efforts, will all understand the reasons for this. All good wishes from us both.

Nice easy find. We were disappointed we could not visit the wind farm, so it's just as well we found the cache.
Thanks montyab - Good spot.
Thanks montyab - Good spot.
Not much wind action today. Cache a little sad after recent rain. Left TB. Hope she doesn't have to stay long.
Nice Find with NBilli78 on our Great Ocean Road Tour. Traditional with a lot of rubbish inside. Also needs maintenance. Therefore left no TB here. Thank you for the cache!
The wind turbines were certainly pumping out many kW of power today in the seady and constant wind. Initally we were expecting amulti but after reading the cache description (including the logs) we got the message that tis really is a tradional cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache montyab.
Found this one really easily as you can see it from the road. Not sure why this one is a multi? Tftc.

Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of mainland Australia.
Spotted cache hide as we turned in. A good drive by cache thanks.

Although listed as a multi this is a traditional cache and what better place to leave a mini traditional geocache coin. SLTNL-coin TFTC (also left some new dry paper but does need a check)
Found! Wasn't a multi which I thought was strange. Anywho, cache was super visible. I met a man riding around Australia here, was a very nice person who I later saw in Portland. Signed the log. Container is broken also. I covered the container as best as I could with the material around it.

Now on the homewards leg of my southern road trip, and as I was travelling solo, caching along the way. I had driven past here numerous times over the years, never stopping as I rarely had time for a multi. I had time today, and was pleasantly surprised to find I didn't need it - a superfast find! Thanks montyab for the cache
Rated: for Overall Experience
Ingots found it. Container is looking like its on its last legs but no water getting into it yet.
Out and about for a weekend trip with a few other cachers, heading from Geelong to Warrnambool Via the Great Ocean Road, Up To Hamilton and Wannon Before Heading Back To Geelong. This trip was far more relaxed and was a rather nice scenic drive, Although the weather could of been a little less wet.

On holidays from Canberra we were heading through this area on route to Murray Bridge, we had limited time to collect a few along the way. This one was a quick drive by, quirky! TFTC
Extremely easy find. Could see it straight away. Very wet, and needs a new book!
A stop to look at the sparse Codrington Wind Farm. Not sure why a multi and certainly the easiest find ever. Like the wee statue.

Easiest multi ever. No competition. Which was OK by us as we'd just had a DNF on a 3-stage multi earlier in the day that we'd wasted (oops, enjoyed) way too much time on. This one took as long as it took to walk from car, open cache, sl, close cache, rehide & walk back to car. 2 mins?
In a car with my geo family after visiting my pop for his 80th seen this cache mentioned it, geo driver pulled up and geo sis ran over and found it before the car had even stopped... met some local cachers great hide tftc
Quick find on our way home with my 2 geo daughters and geo son inlaw. (Team R'n'B and tori and Aaron) tftc.
My geo sis mentioned this cache and I grabbed my pen geo hubby knew we were doing it, pulled up I jumped out of car ran over found it before the car had stopped.

Found on the way to mt gambier via port fairy. Never stopped here before but this gave us a good reason to stop and have a look. Thanks.
Thanks for the cache - interesting location. Don't mean to be picky but the coords are out by about 15m and its not a multi like the yellow icon says it is. Container and logbook need attention
Interesting stop. Love the crow!
The cache needs a bit of maintenance - the log is full and a little damp. Not sure why this is listed as a multi?
Thanks montyab, nice spot to stop.

The easiest multi in the world posed no problems for the banans today. Looking a little tired the treasure could use little TLC. On beautiful day after a week of heat this was satisfying. Thanks Montyab
This was a fine traditional cache, the crow thing is interesting, and so are the windmills. It's probably time to replace the log. tnln sl tftc
The trees by the roadside give a good indication of how windy this place is
Blasted by the breeze they have been pruned and lean over at odd angles
No wonder they built a 'wind farm' here so a cache could be hidden nearby [^]
The overall scene is very "Telly Tubby-esque" and I was waiting for them to appear.
I think the crow might have eaten the Telly Tubbies and so I was spared their mindless babble.
The crow is doing a damn good job of guarding the cache though.
The cache isn't exactly hidden from view [:o]
But the crow is eyecatching, so maybe muggles don't see the cache ?
TFTC it was mesmerizing
The windmills probably contribute to a few crashes along the highway here too [:o]
Eyes on the rhode rhonda !!

Found at 11:19 AM GAFF1 at a distance of 16 metres. This cache had us totally confused. It's listed as a multi, but there is nothing at the listed co-ords. So we went wondering around looked at likely spots and sure enough we found the cache.
We don't mind wind generators - they look majestic to us.
Thanks montyab,
Feedback:
Should this cache be listed as a traditional?

Nice easy find, needs to changed back to a traditional instead of a multi. SL @1:15 enroute to BLE. TFTC
Found easily by missgeo11, Not really a multi. lots of muggle traffic so plenty of tourist "pics" taken while the logging deed was done.
very ticky cache with the all the muggle activity, seems to be a popular spot with the muggles - got of few weird looks
Way to easy to see. Even in the night. Could see it from the road. A easy cache. Thanks
Stopped to observe the mighty windmills. Fantastic. (Why is this a multi? Did I miss something?)
Thanks for the cache, montyab.

Found on our way from Portland heading for the GORd. This is not an uncommon sight for us, but not as ubiquitous in Oz as in NZ.
