A few people have been unable to find & the area has changed since the Commonwealth Games, will try to get out & check or delete
Lots of mtbikers this morning, but I spent a fair bit of time looking in the places it could be and couldn’t locate! This one beat me today!
After doing another one nearby I decided to go for a walk and find this one too.
Working at the GC2018 mountain bike track as a vollie is very handy..since the place is cordened off to the public here! Checked out a couple of spots and the use of a stick was handy. No paper so I had a new plastic glove in my pocket and tore a piece off to make a new log sheet. Tftc
Coordinates I tiny out looking for hollow tree .. moisture has got in bag need new bag or container
Got confused but found it in the end. We parked at the wrong end and had to track through the forest

Loved this place. I'm new to this and this is my first find. I have walked and ridden this path many times and I would never have known. I have the bug and it's off to a new home.
Found! Someone has taken the traceable but not logged- just a few peices of paper and a pencil found
I had found the Nerang Forest Reserve caches a few years ago (but never logged them). So I decided to revisit these cache sites, and this time log them.
This cache is still present and in acceptable condition.
Nothing taken, nothing left.
PC2D15 Trackable still present.

Great geocache. Thanks for planting. Looks like its been changed from vitamin box to eclipse mint box. Watch out for spiders and ants;)
Found with Akasha. We had to avoid the dude doing the maintenance on the mountain bike track for the commonwealth games... I guess he getting in early.
No container, just a soggy log bag. Couldn't do much about it with Mr Commonwealth games hanging around.
Cheers eauman

Easy find while out mountain biking with our toddler. I wish we had been there after the geotag drop though!
Was easily seen when near, thank you whoever left a pencil, I left my pen in the car.
Swapped and Added additional tradable.

Quick find once a colony of mountain bikers had departed!
Just a plastic bag with the logbook inside.

as you drive along the highway you see these spots and wonder what goes on there, now I know and have visited, we took the hardest way in, easy way out of course. TFTC
Very quiet around the track today though there was 1 bike rider who we passed on our way to GZ. Quick find and then took the much easier walk back to the car.
Found it ! No cache but in plastic bag- log a bit damp though with a few things in.
Out caching with Cantcacheus2014 today for a few more smileys. Nice quick and easy find! This one is without a home; only the logbook and ziplock bag. Tftc!
Cache find 1,038 on 5th oct '15 @3.08pm Needs a container. Not much of a cache just a bag and log from someone else. CO should do something about it.
Donned my galloshes and grabbed an umbrella. The kookaburra ' s were stirring and a couple of joggers braved the rain. A cute find. Thanks for getting me out of the house on this rainy day
Nice find but was a lot of effort as I had to hobble on crutches all the way and back nice hide
18/7/15 whilst the son attends a scout event down here I thought I'd grab some caches. After my day of caching I was pretty happy with my finds, but I was one short of 590 and I couldn't possible go home with that knowing I was so close to this cache. Thankfully I had arrived back a little early but my phone battery was nearly flat. I pulled out my external charger, plugged it in, rested my phone on top and headed for the cache. I soon realised the closer I got to the cache the further away the compass said. What was going on and could I solve this before I had to collect my son. Suddenly it dawned on me the external battery charger might be playing up with the compass. I unplugged the phone and I once again had a working compass. A short 30m stroll and I had the cache. Woohoo. TFTC
Garmin took me straight to the tree as in photo, no cache. Searched immediate surrounds, no result. Perhaps Anthony could post the co-ords he found it at?
Found by the mighty easons.
Pretty sure we found the location but no cache. Would the owner please confirm if it's still there. Trunk appears to be empty. 24.1.15

Tried to find two weeks ago, new MTB trails here so maybe gone. Can owner please confirm it is still in location? Thank you.
TFTC. Quick find after my first mountain bike through the forest. Still pumped with adrenaline.
Only had a basic map in our GPS so had to find what we have found from the compass. Therefore couldn't see the roads and ended up walking a wee way. Still we did find it. Unfortunately I didn't bring a pen and there was no pencil or other writing device. Left a wee highlighter pen, didn't take anything.
We decided on this series as we love to combine a walk with geocaching. It was a nice easy start and find. There was no log in the cache, so we left a sheet of paper.
Thanks eauman oz.
Thanks eauman oz.
I was surprised how many men were out here today. All men on bikes. luckily it was a quick find. I have many casaurinas on my acreage. They grow surprising quickly by them selves where I am i.e. I don't actually plant them. They just keep appearing from seed. I needed four more caches to make my statistics for April 100. I found a multi, a puzzle, this older cache and a 3rd to find on a new one. Thanks eauman oz
Another use for these trees are flying fox homes. Where we live they are all along the creek and from December to around the beginning of March these nomadic animals come to town to eat blossom. While here they manage to nearly kill the trees as there are so many on the branches they just break. A few bats OK, heaps are a problem in small areas. The walk to this one in the dark was a little spooky but with three of us the odds of finding anything nasty was greatly reduced. SL TNLN TFTC and info
Using my vehicles GPS made this GC a little difficult to find. The car GPS lacked accuracy when used as a hand held, walking device. Nevertheless, we (wife and I) found the GC with bit of scouting around. We recommend that the logbook is replaced. It was in quite a tattered state and basically full. We had to squeeze our moniker into tiny gap on one of the loose pages. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable excursion which we combined with a short hike around one of the magnificent mountain bike trails in the Nerang National Park. TFTC.
I am looking for a tow truck to retrieve my moveable Geocaching Australia cache GA1680 Reel Hot Wheels http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga1680 from the Nerang State Forest and get it moving again.
It was hidden at S 27° 59.053 E 153° 20.092 on the 12 Dec 2011.
Fine Elsewhere
PLEASE NOTE THE TOW TRUCK IS NO LONGER REQUIRED
MonkeyMaker1 searched at the above coordinates but found it "elsewhere".
The find elsewhere by MonkeyMaker1 was actually a very appreciated replacement with my permission.
If by chance the original cache is found I will change any future logs for that container to a cache I will then create Reel Hot Wheels Too.
At least Reel Hot Wheels is moving again.

I was going to walk the tracks for this series but I ended up blowing the dust of the mountain bike and heading out. After parking out the front I found the tracks just past the scout den. A short ride and I had this cache in hand. SL. Ok lets head up the hill.
