No luck for me today either. Pretty sure I'm looking in the right place - evidence of prior cacher activity, but no prize to be found.
Co-ords were fine and we found the tree but couldn't locate cache... Several muggles arrived so we had to abandon the search for today... But we will be back
had another crack at this tonight with the family. we had two Gps and.both took us to same location. checked everywhere but no cache. remember seeing on 22 Jan when looking for another cache that there were workman and pipes here so wondering if muggled ...or i just need to look again
Playground was nice and quiet today after quickly solving the puzzle this morning. Thanks for giving me hope in the fact that maybe I can solve these puzzle caches!!
Solved this one AGES ago, and noticed it was close to others we were looking for today. There were a couple of little muggles around, hopefully our little caches distracted them enough while Dad made the find. Dad didn't take long to find the cache... we called it a day after this one - kids did so well, Fish and Chips for dinner!
We let Dad get this, because there were some other people around and my brother and I needed to distract them... it worked! Dad got the cache, logged us and put it back before anyone knew what was happening!!!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Knowing that we would be out East Auckland on Saturday afternoon, we looked at a few puzzle caches to see if there was any we could solve. No problems with the answers for this one and the final co-ordinates were soon solved. Went out to grab the cache today, having our 2nd cat encounter in as many caches, as we walked along the path. Quickly found the cache at GZ. Thanks for the cache!

Was making my way around Auckland today cleaning up a few caches as I managed to get another weekend stay over in Auckland.
After finding GC23JYV - Winifed Huggins (Auckland), this was the next cache that was on my list that I needed to find. This was another one of those puzzles that I had managed to solve a little while back and since I was in the area I thought to myself that I might as well grab it.
Making my way to GZ it really didnt take too long to drive from the previous cache to GZ, was a bit glad that this was another cache that I didnt have to walk too far too as I was limited on the time today.
Arriving near GZ, I found the entrance to the lovely reserve where this puzzle cache was hidden, I managed to find a car park not too far away and then it was a short and easy walk to the hiding spot where there was a couple of choices so I decided to check the nearest one to the given co-ordinates and managed to find the cache in the first spot that I looked, very glad it didnt take as long as I thought that it might. Thanks for placing this puzzle cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (4802) now what is my next cache that I need to get yes that's right.

Solved at home some time ago and in Auckland and able to complete the paperwork today. Even learn't some interesting history TFTC
A quick find in my local park. It is very hard to be discreet when crunching masses of autumn leaves under your feet! I have put in a new logbook and pen as the others were stuffed (rusted!). TFTC KiwiLeon.
Quick find. Almost arsed up on the acorns! Log book very damp and in need of replacing.
I love chocolate so it was interesting to be reading up on a bit of it's history. No muggles near GZ so was a quick find. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
One of over 80 puzzles solved in preparation for our trip to Auckland, but one of the few we have actually got round to finding!
Popped out after dinner to find this. After a navigational hiccup (I usually do the driving and StreetWalker the navigating, but we had swapped roles tonight), found the path to GZ and a quick find for StreetWalker.
TFTC.

Solved this one a month or more ago on a miserable day weatherwise. Stopped by today to complete the formalities only to find that this is no container within the vacinity of the coordinates. Spent some 15mins having a look up and down to no avail. I know we had the correct spot as geochecker told us so...maybe a check of the cache is order or alternatively perhaps a check of my glasses presciption.
Hope to return soon to turn this DNF frown upside down.

Quick find today. Sorry to say the log book is soaked and impossible to sign. Learnt a lot about Chocolate. TFTC

I solved this one a couple of weeks ago now, but was only now out this way for a family drive. I'm not sure why I didn't solve it much earlier--I think I wrongly gave myself the impression it was difficult. Nice easy find with the whole LC family today. Log-book is very wet. I was able to initial the page, but it is fast turning into glue. Cheers for the puzzle and the cache!
Solved the puzzle easily the other day and with the afternoon free decided it would be a good time to go grab it. Quick easy find. Log a little damp. TFTC
Solved the puzzle whilst nibbling on some chocolate over xmas (good excuse to enjoy some).
I found the cache fairly quickly with the clue. As per previous comments, the log is pretty damp. I removed the silica sachets from the ziplock bag as they were wetter than the log which needs drying out.

No one around just before lunchtime this morning so searching in this public place was not a problem. GPS spot on as well which helped. Hope to get Eric's first cache next. TNLNSL TFTC
A mouth-watering puzzle! Mixed up the ingredients and came up with the ingredients for the final. No one near GZ so an easy find. TFTC and puzzle.

Found the required information and off we went for the final. Quick find and then we shared a chocolate bar in the car. Thanks for sharing the interesting information T4TC.
Nice cache, with a sweet theme! There was a man with his dog, but as soon as I started swinging on the swing that made a horrible, noise he left asap

Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 931. Thanks.
Found while out with PageNZ. What with this one and Kofi solved and found today it made us hungry and thirsty. TFTC
Found a walkway that lead me to near the cache. The
cache was found about 3 metres away from the hint
object and didn't require entry to what looked like
private property.

A nice puzzle solved ready for our trip over here. Quick find once the gps settled down. Nice park, must be popular with the locals, but nobody about this afternoon. TNLN SL TFTC.
Found on an East Auckland and beyond cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. Mr KE solved this puzzle and located the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with Biggles while on a tour of East Auckland. Yum chocolate, a fun puzzle and a fun cache too, thanks for setting it up.
Yay another puzzle that had been solved ages ago crossed off the list....
Nice place, very quiet today.

Ok, I was wrong, the cache was there. Not sure how I missed it, though in my defence it was a last-ditch attempt in the pitch dark.
Having cased the area on the previous attempt, I was in and out in 5 minutes.
Thanks for the cache.

OK so I was blind.
Nice quik puzzle. Cute little park for final. Muggles on site each time I was there.
Dropped off 35mm cannisters.

Went back with clue in hand and had another good search.
Muggles might have lied to the previous.

Solved for the puzzle but couldn't locate the final. I'll try again when the leaf drop has settled a bit.
After a hard hunt we found it
#2 cache
**Warning**
We got muggled by 5 little brats, along with a old one. we asked then to leave it there after explaining what it was and what it is doing there, Will check its hasn't been muggled regularly.

An easy find once the puzzle is solved. A hint to others – once you have solved the puzzle put the NEW coordinates in your GPSr otherwise you too will be looking for a cache in the middle of an intersection.
TNLN SL. Thanks KiwiLeon

Must be the place to "hang out" as I had to return to get this one as well. Quick find in the end though. TFTC
Quick find after a couple of Teen Muggles (Tuggles?) left.
Test running a new GPS60CX and an Etrex H, both considerably better sensitivity wise that the GPS60, Its a shame Garmin produced a limp version like that! especially when the 12XL was so good!
Anyway I digress.

Solved the puzzle, got to the site, Oh No, what's more suspicious than three men searching, one!!
Had a cursory look, but there appeared to be more watchers on the other side, so will come back with more camo and/or when there is less likely to be onlookers.

No probs with this one, many thanks. Avoided the muggles near GZ.
Nice playground.

Quick find, fortunately for us the playground was deserted, but we brought along Mini YuGeo just in case. Now we know how Charlie felt when he found the golden ticket…. Another big smiley. Many thanks for the puzzle – sweet as… and most enjoyable.

The puzzle was easy, but what do three men do in a playground that has a father and three kids playing. TT went over and told him what we were up to, while Gary and I whipped the cache out and signed the log.

Out East today in the company of the Great "Sp8sm8 and KiwiGary" - What a team with over 6,000 combined finds.
Tricky when you are under observation by fathers. TT took the bold approach and engaged the onlooker while the boys dealt to the task at hand.
Thanks KiwiEric & KiwiLeon.
Cheers TT
Do not like these locations at all !
