One Guy, One Gal and a Telescope!!
A plan was hatched earlier in the week to head to Greens Lake at Corop to make use of free camping, a new pop up tent and the dark sky to be able to look at stars without the light pollution we get in Melbourne. Heading up through Kangaroo Ground and across to Heathcote we grabbed a few caches on the way before having a cracking dinner at the Colbinabbin Pub. After setting up camp (15 minutes) we kicked back until dark. We checked out Nebulas, Globuler Clusters, Constellations, Double Stars and Planets, the highlight being Saturn and its rings and Jupiter with four of its moons!! We headed home the next day via Rushworth then to Whroo where we completed the series of caches there then headed home.
We parked the GeoPrado and started the search, after ten minutes and no luck, Katy called out here it is. Nicley hidden!!!
Thanks for the Cache!!!!

Loved this. Thanks for your hard work - it’s what makes this game so much fun.
Attempted this one in the middle of a bicyce event! Just added a bit more difficulty! Loved the camo on this one.. had me looking for a bit
Didn't take too long to find with Sab, GPS was a bit off but the photo helped heaps. TFTC
Out with the Swaggies so he can beat his best most finds in a day. It was way above my best day by a mile. Just completed the first 60 of the Mt Disappointment series. 3 days later another 30 plublished.

With today been the last day off from work until xmas day I have, I was on a quest to hit 1000 before the end of the year. So Happy Pants and I hit the road for a day of caching. This one had me looking for awhile, but got it in the end. Cool container.

After searching for quite a while with no success and some impatient kids, we had a peek at the photos which gave us the clue we needed. Cache was a few meters away from where we were focusing. Brilliant hide, we really enjoyed this one.
Awesome find. Thank you. Very creative. Said hi to the cows acxross the river. Thanks for all the effort.
This one had us going in circles for longer than it should have, but Geoturtle37 spied it eventually. She was particularly pleased as she scored a pathtag as well. No sign of the " HVAC-EMT's Humboldt the Travel Bear" TB today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Awesome hide, I circled around a few times and almost gave up as the gps batteries kicked the bucket. As always the minute you go to throw in the towel the cache appears. Quite a creative hide, my son loved it. TFTC.
I think our GPS might have had some trouble in this location as the find was made a good few metres out from the given co-ords. A nice hide in a quiet, accessible location. Took TB. TFTC.
Very clever ! Compass a little off but never the less good scenery for a little look around.
Another detour tonight to grab a couple of caches, parking nearby in a nifty spot I walked around examining some likely hides, then I turned around and saw an odd thing and soon found the cache. Super hide in a wonderful location , thanks for the cache, took the tb
Parking in the area suggested, Darcy and I made the quick walk to the GZ. GPS is all over the place thanks to the clouds and trees so expanded the search area. Still looking when the geo-sense tells me that I should have a look where my eyes are pointing.
A very well constructed cache that we both got a laugh out of.

Going past, thought I would pick this one up.
But alas a road crew picked this place to work, so I do not know if
they have affected the cache or not.
May be a check would be worth doing.

Looking back at rubus other caches...we really thought we had to look for another great but a bit more visable cache. This one is just sneaky! lol but easy to find when you turn on your "Thats ackward" skills. Took ...i think its a stone from a leather band bracelet...i have one myself too...left a gandal. Thanks for the cache!

5 y/o Geo-son and I were enjoying a nice trip up to visit my mum in NSW. We picked and chose our direction and spent over 5 hours doing a 3 and a half hour trip, but both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This was one of the few caches that we stopped off and grabbed. Co-ords were a bit out, but a clever little hide that could only be spotted using the "that doesn't look quite right" method. Thanks rubus for the cache, a nice one for sure!
Took about 10 min of searching when a carload of muggles turned up...whuch turned out to be cachers! Found then stood back and waited for fellow caches to find. A quick find in place nice hide! Tftc
Took a moment to locate as satellites were not behaving under the trees. When we spotted it, a young family arrived. After they, too, found it, we all signed the log and went on enjoying the Sunday afternoon with friends.

Find number nine as I toured the district with Jacko83 and suss vulture. We arrived and spent a little time wandering around as the GPSrs refused to settle, then, just a young family of new cachers arrived, we spotted what we were after and waited for them to locate the hide too before we all signed and headed for the next.
Once again a clever hide.
Thanks rubus !

In the Yarra Glen staying with family, took the opportunity to grab a few caches while heading home. Interesting drive through the area. TFTC rubus.
Made the find whilst enjoying a few nights with family in Wodonga...
Out & about enjoying some of the many beautiful places in this great country... Thanks for bringing me here... Clever hide & camo deserves a fave...

Drought effected greeny.
Not pleasant but the extended effort here was made a little easier by the weather.
The hides are just the best and although a little off coordinates the bananas found a treasure, which along with the others by Rubus have raised the bar significantly in this sport.
Well done here.

Wandered around a bit until I read previous log notes about GZ being 8m out, told hubby and he quickly found it ... Warning - a black snake was near GZ. TFTC, a tricky hide!
I am now into rubus territory which one of the aims of today and this one didn't disappoint. Parked in the layby just pas GZ then walked back to start the hunt. Had a good look around beofre noticing something which had the cache. Nice one - thanks to rubus for this one.
Found on a rather wild windy day with My caching mate Trailrunning, we were on the hunt for a couple of objects we needed to night and ended up just following the caches north before we finally headed back the other way. we found several caches tonight on our adventures. Thanks rubus for the cache.
On a wet and very very windy night, I was out and about collecting caches with my good caching buddy Rebel Acts. While we had planned a route through Melbourne, our chase of two elusive trackables meant than we changed our plans half way through the run. A good number of caches were picked up, and this was one of them. The co-ords were a little off, but we found it again. Thanks for this cache.
The Moose found this one almost immediately after he stepped out of the car, while us two were still stumbling around metres away. Nice hide, thanks for the cache.
A clever little cache this evening and Moose made the find after we broadened our search of the gz. Nice work with this one rubus, TFTC. TNLN.
Already found this cache last year but made a special trip out to it so I could collect a GC that want's to go where I'm going
Found this afternoon. Like the camo. SL. Left GC. tftc.

Thoroughly fed up with sitting at the computer so I decided it was time for a caching break. Didn't feel like going South so I decided to come up this way for a change...not that I have all that many left to find this side of Kinglake.
Found the suggested place to pull off and park so. Strolled to GZ and had a good look around but nothing looked like a cache. I saw that Wal-len thought the coordinates were out by about 8 metres so I started circling. Lots of non-possibilities and then, something a little bit odd. Check it out and yes, another Rubus "clever cache". Grabbed the log, signed it and put things back as they were.
Thanks Rubus for another well thought out and made cache.

Out with geo friend (Mrs Ross 47) after consuming too much chocolate at local eatery. Needed to walk off a few of the calories. About 8m out for me today. TFTC rubus. Very well constructed.
Took the opportunity to find a few caches in the area today on a beautiful Summer's day.
However i must have been looking around for about 20 minutes and all to no avail.
Decided was time to move on.

Another foot bleeding Geocaching adventure today on my Cache #100 for Xmas goal. This was no 3 for the day and I've finally nailed this one
I must have walked past the GZ on 20 different occasions on my last 2 visits here but thanks to a little help (PTH you're a champ) I finally nailed it this time.
Cache was a little damp so I have put in a new zip lock bag to keep the contents dry
TNLNSL Thanks Rubus, this one had me going

Found @0913 #1617
Today was another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg thru an area of Melbourne I have not visited until today. This was one of 32 found and we also had a few DNFs.
It took a rather long time to find this with myself and ahomburg checking both sides of the road. In the end it was found to be today approx 10m out and in a spot I was sure I had search earlier on. During the hunt a group of muggles on bikes rode past and one blew a tie, was surprising to hear how much noise this makes. A great hide this one. TFTC Rubus, another of yours found today.

Find # 1763
After a late night at the WWFM IX event in the city and just three hours sleep, I was picked up by my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave and we headed in a northerly direction towards Whittlesea and a massive day of caching.
This one took some time to find, with myself and dave searching both sides of the road after the initial co-ords came up empty. We were about to call it a DNF when a further expansion of of the search area came up with an excellent hide. A Favourite point for this one.
Thanks again to rubus for the cache. TNLN.
