Wow. That was essentially a 300 meter bushwalk uphill all the way.But I found the container and my name is now in it.I will Mark the trailhead for the attack from below. It is not for the fainthearted. Ive lost a decent amount of blood to the blackberry bushes.Anyway, assuming I get back home, this has been a lot of fun.S 34 54.240 E138 42.503 trailhead from below
TFTC! Secret valley is still very much secret, if not more secret than ever. Trail is very treacherous and so overgrown I would have believed it were a trail except for the map.
I started at the car park and walked to the Centre Track and the took the Secret Valley trail. A few hundred metres of quite overgrown track but it wasn’t too steep. The cache was found in a logical place consistent with the hint.
I still had plenty of life in the legs so I continued up and made my way to Yurrabilla and continued on to the Third Falls. I admired the view before heading back to the Second and then First Falls.
All in all a great hike in perfect weather.
Thanks for the cache Frozen Feet.

Found with stairman1. This was another one on our way. We headed down and took a quick detour to the caves. Down a little further and arrived at GZ. All good here. Voices certainly echo in here. Thus one gets a favourite. Don’t know why it doesn’t have more.
Found with goldielover today. We did a fairly decent circuit and came into this one from above. The track took us almost right past a cave I had already spotted from the main track. A small diversion to check it out before heading further down to gz. Trail was very easy to follow. Cache found in very good order. Checking previous logs from the book, which at some stage had been very wet now nice and dry. The newest one I could see was from 2019. Anyway we now have ours in the book.
Thanks for showing us this beautiful place.

This evening, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled to Morialta for a hike around whilst enjoying the balmy hot weather. We walked along a few tracks and ridges that we hadn't visited before, as well as a secluded valley. We managed to pick out blackberries that were starting to ripen, and our highlight was seeing a koala eating gum leaves at ground level just off from the walking track.
Our final cache for our evening walk tonight, and just as we were nearby, we lost data coverage, and the trails map was not showing on our geocaching app. Luckily I was scanning the map beforehand, and so had a pretty good idea on directions, and the older unused/unmaintained path appeared to have a distinctive entrance. We walked out way along, with the path in satisfactory condition to avoid the bushes and blackberry thorns, but clearly we were one of the minority walking along here. We got to the top of the valley, and the cache was found reasonably quickly at GZ. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. A cool area and great geocache spot! Thanks Frozen Feet for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Cruisy hike to cache. Found after reading previous posts. Log book is wet. Cracked open container for it to dry out. It is safe under cover from the elements. SL, TNLN & TFTC.
The beginning of many more cache journeys through the park. Great little track and spectacular view. Logbook a little soggy. TFTC .
Nice hike up this path. Great views when you turn around. Cache has a cracked lid, letting water in & log book is soaked. If anyone looking for this, can you please bring a replacement container & notepad (small butter container size).

Oh boy - I think the terrain value should be a little higher here! Did a multi on the way to this one and underestimated the terrain as I had my young daughter in tow. Luckily she's a trooper and soldiered on till we found it. Took a little bit of looking and eventually got it. Took pedometer, left plastic dinosaur. Cheers.
TFTC So many rock caves! Especially when the GPS is struggling in a valley. Great location, loved the different route. Log book was soaked so couldn’t sign.
Bit of a bush bash - had to leave my wife further up the hill after she fell. 'Go on without me' she said bravely. Anything for a cache! TFTC
Came to visit Morialta today and pick up a few of the local caches. After visiting the lookout I decided to take the secret trail down to this one and it was found after a short search. I did think about continuing down the trail but as it didn't look that well used I made my way back up to the main trail and continued my hike from there. TFTC!
Walking around Morialta this morning, came across this track. You can see that it is less walked by most and I wouldn’t of seen it without geocaching! Beautiful walk TFTC
Enjoying a walk around Morialta with TeamAstro tonight. The hills are almost worth it when there are caches to be found. A great secret path which we almost missed to enter Secret Valley. TFTC
Not so secret any more. Such a beautiful area assuming you are getting a enuf oxygen from the surrounding atmosphere. My FVC seemed to have increased on the way here.
Awesome spot.
Thanks to Frozen Feet and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Blink and you will miss the start of the track ... exactly what I did.
Corrected my error and 5 minutes later cache was in hand in an incredibly tranquil area.
Thanks for bringing me here!

Today I joined with AnyMules, Hevwalker and Phoenix Flare for a fun of caching our way to and from Laighside Legends event at a very serene place. [8d] After the event Phoenix Flare left us to find a few more caches on our own.
I remember walking this track down into the secret valley when it was maintained. No so much now. But then again compared to some of the animal trails I have followed to caches this is almost a caching super highway. Coming from the top it also served as a short cut to the next cache! The bonus was of course finding a cache along the way.
Thanks Frozen Feet for bringing me back to where I regularly walked over twenty years ago.

After attending some events and visiting some -Z- caches, we came to this one.
Great to see an original 2008 log book, and to see that -Z- himself got FTF on this one.
Thanks for the cache Frozen Feet. Found on 17 Sep 2017 at 2:40 pm. Find #5128.

Great hiding place. Much more interesting than just walking the smooth trails. Mr 4 only fell once and Miss 11 and Miss 12 really enjoyed themselves.
Twas'nt too hard to find the start of the trail from above
And so off I stumbled down the valley along the disused trail to reach GZ
It is beautiful down here,
surrounded by the towering cliffs and peace and quiet [^]
The cache was a nice easy find in the only obvious spot to hide a cache
TFTC,
a fave point for sure !!

Recent heavy rains have made some trails in Morialta closed for a time [:o]. I thought Steep Gully Trail was one of them with small logs and branches at the top as some kind of indication that it might be closed. I was having none of that knowing there was a cache below . The track down showed evidence of minor washouts but no way near enough to close it [:o)]. Got to GZ and the find luckily for me was quick as sometimes these can be a nightmare with dodgy GPS readings and no clues... thankfully this one had a clue and it was what made the find a more easy one SL at 12:20 on Sun 25 Sept 2016. TFTC Frozen Feet for this cool hide which is all good and dry. Took the Red Cockroach and left a small wooden Butterfly, Marble and 'Blue Wren Tit' figurine
Got it, the cache guardian was on the tree this time, but was watching us closely.. TFTC!
Beautiful area. The guardian was off duty but we heard him grunting and saw him nearby. Had to tip water out of the container. Spotted a pair of tawny frogmouth on a low branch at the start of the trail.
Glad we done this one from the top, we would never have found the entrance to the path at the bottom. Thanks for the cache.

Up this way to complete an Earthcache so came back along the secret valley.
Nice, off the beaten track type of track. Had a cache guardian right on GZ! See pic.
TNLNSL and continued on our way.
Thanks

Australia Day!! What better way to spend the morning than hiking and caching through this iconic conservation park. So many muggles seemed to have the same idea about hiking today!! First we climbed a big hill... then we kept climbing... then we came across a path less travelled descending down into a secret valley!! Such a nice little trail which has not been maintained like the other main trails. TFTC!!
2:00PM: Found with geokid #2 while the rest of the family was finding a picnic spot further up along the Three Falls Grand Hike track. Spotted redRONSO's log entry from earlier this same day. Signed the log as well and returned the container into its little nook in the Secret Valley. Great day for hiking and appreciating the sensational rock formations that decorate this part of the hills. TNLN. TFTC Frozen Feet.
Found the upper track down to here. Nice and cool down here on a warm day. Located quickly and left after seeing a snake skin on the track. TFTC. Cheers
Found It!
Interesting little place I never been to before. I came in from the top along that very little used track... Certainly is secret!

First time caching with elevation as a factor. Set me an increased challenge. Tspc took a close pin left a cockroach.
2nd day on tour with Badi7, starting in ADL, Mount Lofty, Morialta Conservation Park, Port ADL and Back. Enjoyed the view from top of the mountains. TFTC
did this walk solo and tested out my new backpack. nice and quiet down in the valley. often went down here with my dad when walking in the park for the peace and quiet.
On a beautiful morning were happy to find just one more on the way back to the parking lot.

Walked up from the bottom - almost missed it! Was very busy today with the sun out. Good to get away from the crowded main trail. Found after a bit of looking around. TFTC. Took bath bomb and badge. Left 2 bracelets.
Nice walk from the top, now to go back up there. Lots of people around on a cooler day but no one on this track. Nice to get away from them, tftc
Delightful day for a hike in the hills over Adelaide. Cache is on a nice detour from the main path. I had good satloc and gps led me within two meters for a quick find. TFTC.
Perfect afternoon for a quick cache through Morialta.. Plenty of people enjoying the cooler weather and wandering around the park, however I had this little track all to myself as I made the trek up from the bottom. Quick find and then enjoyed the view for awhile. TFTC.
Found on an afternoon walk.
Tricky sat-lock down here, but looked for the most likely spot in the vicinity and bingo!

Miss GG and I decided we would do a bit of hiking, since Morialta had a few caches that we had not done we decided that would be the mountain we attack.
At first we walked past this little track on a mission to another cache, but as we noticed the count down started to go up.. We headed back thinking that little track was the way down to it.. As we arrived back we saw this cache on the map. So we ended up getting this one as well as the one we were originally going to.
What a great little path, got us away from all the other walkers and took us somewhere new
Thanks for the cache Team Wibble

Today Darknstormy and I were heading to Morialta for a stroll and planned some caches for us to find.
Firstly we walked straight past the access to this one then back tracked to the right spot to go down the mountain to find this one
there were plenty of bird life and a couple of baby Koalas spotted on a lovely walk, no falls were falling today but still it was well worth the walk. Can't believe how busy it becomes here, gotta come early to garuntee your self a park close

Found on a lovely little walk this morning. As soon as we got down into the valley, the air was still and it was almost eerily quiet. Having visit this park many times it was nice to take a different route. Thanks Team Wibble for a properly good cache.
Forgot to mention that we removed an inappropriate swap from the geocache - quite a surprising and disappointing thing to find... Whoever placed this in the cache needs to remember that geocaching is often undertaken by families with children!!

Note to self re Vagaries of Phone Reception ... next time I go to the hills I am going to save the caches to my phone BEFORE I go!

It was the really first cool day for ages so i decided to go for a walk. I love Morialta but the only thing offputting is the $5 fee to drive to the carpark near the start of the walking trails. Now is a great time to go as the pay machine is out of order and it is free. Yay A great walk up the secret valley was enjoyed in light drizzle. The drizzle turned into light rain on the way down and i was a bit wet when i got back to work. Thanks for a great walk.
I am really glad I've been checking out Morialta lately, I'm really impressed by it. Another fun walk in the park to this one. It's so quiet in this area as it seems not many make the effort to go down here. TFTC.
Found with some geofriends. It was already pretty full but managed to squeeze in a badge. Took nothing.

Group assault on Morialta with Malco, e.gregory, MtnLioness, chillibutts, FeatherWaite and *Cache or Check*. Seeing us we were hunting Z caches today, there was dissension in the ranks prior to us heading down into the valley. We were only 40m from the cache but unfortunately GPSrs don't operate under Pythagoras' theory and the result was a 30-40m decent into the valley.
A corporate decision was promptly reached and it was onwards and downwards (only to return onwards and upwards). TFTC Wibbles.

A rare traditional cache on our big day out in Morialta. I almost stayed at the top track and let the others make the trek down but I am mighty glad that that thought only lasted a short moment as the walk down is really quite spectacular with great view of the nearby cliffs.

Part of the team on a 9km loop today! I voted "YES" for the walk down the hill and voted with my feet. The Tiger pretty much ran down the hill and had the cache in hand when I turned up (2nd to GZ). Enjoying the company, weather and the views. TFTC Team Wibble.
Found in the company of Malco, e.gregory, Featherwaite, chillibutts, Tiger Muffin and *Cache or Check*.
Sef didn't want to ruin his puzzle trend by getting a Trad and almost boycotted it but group pressure made him follow us and it really had great views!
The Feather and I conversed the whole way down that it seemed 'just over there' and 'we should really just leave the path and cut across'... we didn't and glad we didn't!

Third for the day on our group assault on some caches in the area. This one was a bit of a diversion, so it was down the hill for a quick find then back up to the track. Plenty more of that to come. Thanks Team Wibble for the cache.
Found with Malco. e.gregory. MtnLioness, chillibutts. Tiger Muffin and *Cache or Check* during a caching raid in the Morialta area. Enjoyed the diversion to this very scenic spot. Thanks for the cache Team Wibble!
Was a lovely quiet trail. I could hear people chatting as they walked past above. It looks like not too many people go that way, which is a shame as its really lovely. Thanks for taking me for a wander down a less travelled path.
Steep track but we made fairly easily. Obviously not a well used track. Lovely day to be walking around Morialta. TNLN.
Out for a day of BBQ, bush walking and geocaching in the Morialta Conservation park, lovely day for it and love the animals. Saw some koalas and various others.
Has been years since I visited Morialta park and had forgotten how many different tracks and trails existed here but eventually managed to find the right one for this cache.

Well, that was better than a nano in an exposed spot for sure.
I think the only criticism I can offer on this one is that you total failed to provide adequate 3G coverage to allow logging from the cache
