It appears that this local iconic building may be about to be restored.
It has been dismantled and the bricks have been stacked up so hopefully it may be about to be made new again.
Hopefully.
In light of the above I am taking this off line until a later date.

Currently cordoned-off with tape by the council, maybe structural issues. Made it tricky to do a proper search and sadly DNF. I’ll be back, mind!
Had a good look, read some logs and found a hidey hole that looked right but no luck today.
Will cone back another time

TFTC! I found the cache almost instantly but couldn't get it open, and after reading it was supposed to be green I started to search for something more green. But without luck, I read the logs and saw that it was now white! Finally got it open and the log was signed!
I had a few errands to complete tonight, and then needed a multi-cache cache type for today's calendar day. I guess I had gone too well clearing a lot of the western suburbs' multi-caches, and so I really needed to head north towards Port Adelaide as my next closest.
This traditional cache was right next to my target multi-cache, so decided to stop here first. A pretty interesting building, and glad there was some history learned about this structure. I thought this may take a while to spot, but actually, it didn't take long to find for me tonight. All good with this one, thanks MalanDi!

A interesting little building, a nice and easy find.
After caching a little bit in the morning, a group plan was to do some kayaking tomorrow so I was lucky enough to borrow a kayak from Brad&Janet. Plans soon changed and with the kayak in hand I thought I’d use it to it’s full potential whilst I had it. So the afternoon plan changed to collecting 2 caches off outer harbour followed by sole caches in the area. Then in the evening attempting Cavan of fear with David Wazza.
All the caches were easily found and are in good condition.
Thanks to the COs for their placement

It is certainly a unique building. We wondered if the green colour was by design or by the presence of algae. After one circumnavigation of the structure, the cache was located. The cache container was in good condition but the logbook is full and need replacement as soon as possible. Thanks MalanDi for the cache and for bringing us to this very interesting structure.
I found this one on 23 December 2018 with KTPops but somehow missed logging it. I was dedicated driver that day, recall it taking time to replace the log. Thanks
On way to visit my friend place for dinner. Quickly stopped
Wow old bus stop
Found it
Thanks for the cache.

Found on a suny Sunday eith very few cars passing by. It is an unusual structure... TFTC
Found something.... Left a little toy but didn’t sign name as no room. Needs a new book.
It was on Saturday after kids netball that I found this one, looked initially on the wrong side and found it in the last place I looked.. Great little hide this one, thanks for placing the cache for us to find and for the history lesson, my mates parents live across the road, his Mum came out but she didn't spot me.. TFTC! Find #300
After epic burgers and beer at Big sHed nearby added a few caches in the area to find. This one was the first on the list. Interesting building and a quick find yielded the cache TFTC
Found with fluffymaxi on the way home from a ghost hike around Port Adelaide with cubs.
This structure probably has a ghost or two also. All the others in the Port apparently do.

After going to hike in the area we decided to pop in to get this cache on the way home.

Was having the car serviced down the road and was overcast enough to have a bit of a walk. Using a previous finders photo, it was found easily and I left a pencil for future finders use. The building appears to be losing its “green” but a bus shelter seems a very good use for it. Thanks for the hide.
Easy find previous person left it uncover covered it up to make it a little harder for next person
Here with clare007 & Phoenix Flare we looked at GZ...no cache was found even though someone found it today...did see some velcro under the electrical box...not sure that's where it was...
Thankfully the streets weren't too busy, found quickly and rehid with some more natural Camo as it was exposed. Thanks for the hide!
What a weird structure. Thank you for placing this cache. Signed log in a random spot as it is full.
Found it. Great spot. Dont go in peak traffic. Container is no longer green and lid is quite brittle. Log book is full
Found while on an afternoon run with Wal & Ol prior to an excellent Caberet Fringe Festival show. TFTC!
Found on a roundabout drive to a Cabaret Fringe Festival show with Pony1966 - interesting piece of history! TFTC.
Day Thirty Two of our holiday - the first day of April, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide.(But not for much longer!)
Today we just bummed around the Port collecting a few puzzles and some trads.
The morning was spent in the car, and the afternoon on the deadly treadlies.
I think that historian is making that up! It hardly "beautify" the port and is anyway facing the wrong was for people coming from the port to see.
I found the Velcro, but BB found the cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12284. Day 32 of our SA holiday. March is over and here we are with April Fool's Day already and that means we are due to leave for home on Monday. Sad at the thought of it but looking forward to getting home.
With some rain this morning and grey skies we hopped in the geo-chariot and headed to the areas around Port Adelaide and Garden Island. This afternoon we got the bicycles out and headed out to gather up some more puzzles and traditionals. I seem to have finished the day with 25 smilies and 4 DNF's.
This certainly is a funny greenish building/structure! By the time I got out of the car Rob was coming back saying it isn't there I have found the velcro. I said we will have another look and I spied the hiding place very quickly. We then had a look at the structure. Certainly a strange one.
Thanks MalanDi

Perhaps I was put off by the "Clipsal container" described last visit. This time I decided to ignore that and look for something else. After a short search the container was found, and not near the Velcro. TFTC. 29/10/16, 12:00 pm Find #3008.
