I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! The last days down under I have been spending in Springbrook. I really like this area and I discovered beautiful places. On a walk we stopped for this one. At GZ we had a look for quite some time. However, thanks to some previous logs we found the cache at the end. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
#5620Seven years ago, we failed to find this cache and we haven't been back since. We have finally got round to visiting the in-laws again (from the UK), staying with them on Canyon Parade and friends are visiting from Warwick, so we decided to walk the Twin Falls circuit this morning. The weather didn't lift the way we were hoping, but we were suitably equipped - and at least the rain is good for the waterfalls It took quite a lot of searching at GZ, trying to resist the urge to just push hands into holes like we do back home. I found a stick to poke with and Mr Maths put some gloves on. In the end, I read through some old logs and realised what sort of searching we needed to do, at which point Mr Maths found the well-hidden container. I was delighted to turn this blue frown into a smiley. TFTC
A few minutes searching and wondering and the after extending the search region we found the cache. Thanks a lot.
Travelling in the Springbroock NP and found some caches. Thank you for the cache.
KTPops and I headed out to do the 17km Warrie Circuit. What a glorious day of walking, and bonus we got some caches also. Everything in great condition here, a good quality cache that was a pleasure to find. Found by KTPops while I was off searching places the cache wasn't. Nothing made me more excited than hearing the 'found it' call. Thanks Herbz for the placement and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #9566 at 3.37pm with KTPops
What a beautiful hike to the Twin Falls with famerlor_dragon and our junior. We had a lot of nice views in this circuit and some caches too.TFTC geovi
This is my second visit to the Twin Falls circuit. It is always a pleasant visit and a nice and cooling experience. This find took a couple of minutes as it wasn't as really really close as I first thought. But at least it was there - in comparison to the other 2 caches on the track.TFTC!
We enjoyed the Twin Falls walk today. Passed plenty of other folk along this trail but while at GZ we had the place to ourselves for at least 10 minutes. Plenty of time to find this cache and replace uninterrupted. Cache was found with the hint. Our GPS was no help here. Thank you.
This cache marked the end of our Warrie walk.We enjoyed it very much. It's interesting how much the forest changes between the bottom of the valley and the top of the cliffs. Thanks for the cacheand greetings from Europe, octi & j-lucy
Apologies for the late log here (12.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.I found myself at the wrong level for this and didn't have time to climb down so decided I'd just enjoyed the walk to a location above it. I can see why they film IACGMOOH here. Anyway, not a hunt so not a DNF.SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
Making our way around the twin falls circuit today. The falls weren’t very full today but it was still nice to see. Cache was found without issue.

Today, I joined Beardman75 and karicka for a hike in Springbrook, walking the Warrie Circuit, which included Springbrook Pinnacle. It has been a walk high on my priority list, but the motivation was realised with a recently published geocache with the [The Warrie Circuit - Springbrook National Park](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/5d5cba70-5ec5-4ea5-ba91-cedfc17ce6c7) Adventure Lab. Following the walk, we took a few more short walks in the area, which included Best of All Lookout and Forest Park / Nerang River.
Regarding this hike, we departed from the trailhead at Canyon Lookout just after 07:00 hr, and we ended up walking a total distance of 18.1 km across an elevation of 703 m, with a moving time of 4:15 hr. Despite that, we ended up getting back to the trailhead at 12:30 hr, hence a 5.5 hr walk, as per my [Strava record](https://www.strava.com/activities/8425276366). The waterfalls were fantastic from recent rains, but it meant the lower elevation rainforest areas were damp and abundant with leeches. Despite these unpleasant bloodsuckers, it was still a scenic and enjoyable and scenic experience that I would highly recommend.
Blackfellows Falls was truly magnificent today, and it was great to make a stop here for this geocache to admire it. This was our first stop during our walk today, and with karicka having found this cache 12 months ago, it wasn't long before the cache was uncovered. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Herbz for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Visiting from New Zealand and staying a few days in Springbrook. This morning we did the Twins falls circuit. Pleased to find 3 caches and have a great swim at the falls. Caching here is much more nerve wracking for us as so many creepy crawlies are around with reputations of being deadly. In New Zealand I would put my hand into any dark hole whereas here it’s lots of poking with a stick. Saw land mullets, lizards, small skinks but thankfully no snakes. Got to GZ and took a few minutes to locate this hide. Thanks Herbz for the smiley
Impressive falls, a stark contrast to twin falls but beautiful in its own
Found while on a Duke of Ed hike. Found by one of the participants. Full of water unfortunately. Have sent CO a photo to prove find. Unable to sign
Decided on walking the falls circuit. Such a nice walk with some amazing waterfalls. Stopped for a break and then realised there was a cache here. Had a good look around and my partner found it. Log a bit wet.
Thanks for the cache

Last cache of the day today. Mum (JackieLH) is over from the UK and we decided to bring her in thus beautiful hike before it started getting too cold.
It was her first time Caching and I think we have found a new player
This one nearly had us putting a DNF. But stubbornness paid off at we have a smiley ️
Wet log book but managed to add our signatures

Second find today on this beautiful walk. Even though there are previous DNFs we luckily were able to find it. One pair of muggles wouldn’t leave so we had to try and find is slyly in front of them. After a couple pokes and prods we found it sticking out. Log is soaked, but I managed to get OZB with my pen. TFTC!
Missed this one, had a good look with Stairman1 and Goldielover but no luck today. Will certainly be back!
Found this one while doing the Warrie Circuit and Springbrook Pinnacle hike with other cachers. Such a beautiful location. TFTC!

Unfortunately log is still too wet and we didnt have a replacement nice area!! TFTC!!
As the logbook is wet, next finder,if you are able to add a dry piece of paper until we can replace the logbook that would be appreciated.
We wouldn’t have made this trek had there not been a geocache involved. Thank you. Very wet logbook as previously reported but cache container in good nick. TFTC
Got it! And a great hide. Took a while and really had to scroll through activity to find it
It’s also hailing
And I have a 3 year old asleep on my shoulder and a 5yo watching me look

Aw, we searched for quite a while but had no luck )-: must be there, someone found it just before us ...
Checked up on this one today. Container a little damp but we dried it out and it's good to go.
It’s there but you need to search for it. Well camouflaged and still in its original place.
I like Hatzoffs description of our party- the Magnificent 7.
We enjoyed seeing all the rock formations and waterfalls along the way. We had a bit of a hunt for this one but found it in its hide. All good here.

Out today in this area with RoddyC, Richmond Lad, E_Smiley, snickersallan, echocage1 and Hatzofff to find a few caches and then attend the event nearby. Luckily with so many eyes looking we finally found it nicely tucked away in its hide. SL then returned as found. Great walk and views along the way.

Up in Springbrook for an Event, and before lunch, we decided to find some caches. This one was the first of the day, and the furtherest from where we parked the cars. There were 7 of us and off. Arrived at GZ and cache was soon found. TFTC Herbz. I give you a FP for the location
A nice leisurely walk with geofriends to grab three caches before lunch and the Almost Aussie Day Event. This one was very well hidden, we had to back track as we missed it the first time we looked in the spot it was eventually found in. Beautiful location and loving all the waterfalls.

Spent a long time looking, even enlisting the help of a couple of passing (and temporarily deputised) muggles. Couldn't find it, even though it was last found less than a month ago. The clue says very close to the sign. Both signs look new (the recycled plastic type) so I wonder if they were installed elsewhere than the originals that the clue was based on?
This cache we found during our vacation in Australia. 4 weeks from Cape Trib to Brisbane.
Simply fantastic!
Many thanks to all the owners for the beautiful places, exciting stories and great cache containers we found on our trip.

Found after a short search. Cache in good condition albeit slightly damp.
We really enjoyed this walk, more enjoyable than Purling Brook Falls in my opinion.
Thanks for the cache Herbz

Did the twin falls loop what a awsome walk. Took a while to find as there was a few muggles around. The track was pretty busy today tftc. Fb
My partner and her child had a DNF on this one but we went back together a few days later and after reading the hints I found it within a few minutes. Well hidden!
Found it on a lovely bushwalk with the geowife.
The hint in the maintenance log helped. The pencil is missing and the log is a little damp.

Enjoying a weekend visiting a friend in Brisbane. Today we decided to enjoy a nice tramp along the Warrie Circuit. Enjoyed the flora and fauna along the track. Highlight was still seeing one of those blue crabs. This one was an easy find after following the hint. Pictures were taken under the waterfall before moving on... TFTC
Beautiful day to hike the Warrie circut. Had some friends who I introduced to geocaching, they loved it!
We checked up on this one today and yes, there are some new signs that have been put up. However, the cache is still here in the rock wall under the little bush approx 1 metre from the new sign.
My in-laws have a place in Springbrook, not far from this circuit, but we haven't been to visit them for 7 years (we live in England). We took up caching shortly after our last visit, so this was our first chance to cache in this beautiful area. As it was Sunday, we thought many of the short walks would be busy, but this was easy to reach from their place and less busy, as the end of a long circuit, but we took the short route. When we arrived, there was an annoying pair of muggles sat right by GZ, so we carried on down to the next 2 sets of falls, before climbing back up. This time we were in luck, having the place to ourselves, but no luck with the cache. The directions are very clear, and we had several ideas of the way that the cache might be hidden, but none of them were right. There were 2 signs, one of which looked quite new on an old post - maybe the cache went with a previous sign? But the in-laws said the whole sign was new. We will be in the area for a couple more days if anyone wants to give me a clue
Found this cache on a glorious hike - started with this 4km loop, and then headed towards the 17km Warrie circuit. Wasn't how we had planned it, but that's ok.... What a fantastic spot! Unfortunately I didn't have a functioning pen on me (how can I even call myself a geocacher?!?!), so I'm not claiming it as a find. I did take a photo of the cache and log, if needed by the CO.

A wonderful spot for a cache! the Coords had us a fair way off, bit found it thanks to the obvious hint. There must be a lot of bounce in this area. We found this one as part of the Pinnacles circuit with Goldielover, Stairman1, SNJ and LadySim.
This was our first port of call this morning along our walk out to Springbrook Pinnacle. Upon arrival we had to contend with a couple of muggles lingering in the area admiring the waterfall and taking turns posing for various photos under the falls. With their camera's memory card bulging at the seams they finally moved off to allow a proper search and the cache was soon located. TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
With nothing planned for the day, Gaz set off down to Springbrook to tackle this one today. Pulled up in the planned carpark, and was confronted with a track closed sign, so I made my way around to a closer carpark and track entrance and I was greeted with a spectacular view, and an open track [^]
I set off ready for a hike, however I was overcome with energy and decided to run this one. I ran down towards GZ and in no time at all I arrived at the falls. Thinking this was only half way I grabbed a drink and continued along the trail, before realising that the cache was back at the waterfalls I ran back and after a quick search of the area I soon had the cache in hand and added my name to the logbook, before making my way back up the track towards the carpark
