Rain came and didn't want to spend a lot of time looking for this one. Maybe I'll try again later in the week.

Unfortunately, we did not have network access - but we found the hiding-unfortunately was not a treasure anymore. Still a nice place to stay. Thanks for the show.

I found the place but nothing inside - please check it.
It is a dangerous place if someone is searching in the wrong direction - he could fall down as there is no fence.
Bad luck.

Pretty sure I found where it should be but the hole was empty, and tons of trash around it...This should be checked up on.
Found a great hidey hole but didn't quite match the hint..glad I didnt venture down the slope after reading a few other logs!!
Thought I found the right tree based on co-ords, however there is a 1 litre shaped hole where I was hoping there would be a cache. Oh dear... 2nd muggle report of the day ?? Hopefully am wrong- will keep an eye on this page and return to hunt again if anyone else finds it!
#63 Found on my last day in Kiwi land. Met a nice geocaching friend from Japan - Yo-yo-f who also was searching for this. Thanks and greetings from Sweden!
Visited Auckland Japan to begin one month traveling with a campervan in New Zealand and visited this cache. When I began to look for the cache, I met a nice geocacher from Sweden. Caches make travels much fun. Thank you.
Left in TB. TFTC

Found the spot where I throught it should of been, great hiding hole, but no cache. There was ALOT of rubbish around.
Cool cache, took us a while due to terrible cell reception but was a nice stroll in the park:)
Did some more exploring in Auckland today including some of those caches on the way. TFTC
Very cool hide. Found during a wander round Albert Park and the University, reminiscing about my student days. + Jeep TB. TFTC
Wow what a clever hide!! very cool to see a decent sized cache to put collectables in!
Picked up a TB to move on.

Visiting Aukland from Ontario Canada and had a travel bug with us that wanted to return home. To New Zealand after trav elling around for a few years. Saw cache was listed as Regular so chose this one to drop off the tag. What a lovely park. Quite busy on this sunny lunchtime visit.
Found it very easy! Nice one... Lots of cool stuff in it as well like a GeoCoin... Taking the GeoCoin to another place .
Popped out for lunch and the cache for the day, the lid was quite exposed so covered a little with natural camo before we left, tftc
A nice hide in the park. I have seen similar before but this was nicely disguised. TFTC!
Found it with SherlockJr in our third day in Auckland. Nice hide (--> Favourites). Brought one TB. Thanks!
Having a day in Auckland I spend some time in the CBD and did sightseeing by Geocaching.
A good find in the beautiful park.
Thanks for the cache!

if you read the description fully, then it shouldn't be too hard to find this one (& I didn't feel in danger at all) GPS was putting me quite a distance away, but I paced back and forth till I found the point where the numbers start going up again rather than down, looked for the tree, and hey presto, there it was - quite exposed when I found it, but left it a bit more covered! TFTC
Done shopping on Queens street, heading back to the hotel, only fitting to get a cache with this title. Took TB, LNSL TFTC
Firstly wrongly guided but the hint was then helpfull
We did this cache after vistiing the Art Gallery

Plenty of daylight late into the evening helped ensure muggle numbers were at a minimum. The GPS was keen for a downhill trek but I'm glad that we explored the upper heights a little further firstly. A nice sized cache that we eventually located with minimal accuracy from the GPS. Signed the log before contemplating what to have for dinner.
Our last day in New Zealand and Auckland before we will leave back to good old Germany. We enjoyed the hole stay in this absolutely lovely country! Nevertheless, we miss the traditional christmas markets at home as well... thank you for the wounderful moment and friendly Kiwis...

Nice hide. Managed to evade the glare of muggles long enough to make the find. Great place to chill in the shade...
Wow! I made this a hundred times harder than it really is!
Don't climb down the side of the hill, it's not recommendable, especially in jandals/flip flops.
Nice big cache (compared to all the micro's hiding in the city)
I left my first TB in this one! Seemed like a safe place.
The hint is only helpfull if you are really close to the cache.
Thanks for leading me to this park, it's so nice

Our last cache in New Zealand. We got to know a beautiful country, friendly people, and found new friends. Thanks to U. for being with me.
At first I was down and I needed to be up. A little walk and problem solved. Great to see such a large cache, and even better that it's 8pm and still light enough to be out caching. I love Auckland already! Thanks for the cache Zork V.
Clever hide but quickly found. The hardest part was getting the lit to screww back on properly afterwards - lol . tftc
It was nice to find a regular size cache located in the CBD. We had brought a TB from Sydney Australia and left it here for it to continue its travels, thanks for bringing us to this lovely park.
This was our last cache today and I guess in New Zealand for quite a while. But the container is a nice surprise right here in the middle of the city. We wanted to log this cache as the first one today, but the Z coordinate of the cache did not fit in our early plans We took some nice photos in the park before we went to our hotel to grab the bags. Thanks.

GPS kept saying it was on the road so had to do a bit of old fashioned hunting for this one. No travel bugs in it though. Even though inventory said there was.
Muggles galore! Waited them out to get it, then had a guy settle in for dinner before I could get it back! Had to wait for him too! I think that jacket was still there.

... found it ! ... a neatly folded jacket was lying on the ground very near to GZ. I avoided the area at first since I didn't want to intrude upon someone's "space". But after " hanging out " for a bit and not noticing that anyone was present, I swooped in for the grab ! My GPS coordinates were jumpin' ALL over the place on this spot too ! ... TFTH

On our cruise with the Celebrity Millenium from Miami to Singapore we stayed three days in New Zealand. One day in Tauranga and two days in Auckland. Auckland is a very beautiful city. We found the cache immediately. It is a nice hiding place! Thanks for the cache!

An easily accessable cache....... not so easy to reach on a rainy day like today! But we enjoyed the location. Thanks from Germany!

After a scamper around down the hill we finally came upon it further up. Caution is required and it helps to know you don't need to go all the way down. Dropped a TB I picked up in Australia. TFTC
I enjoyed this hide. A nice wander around the park first and found some interesting graffiti carved into a tree. The weather held, just, and I managed to get the log signed and hidden away before anybody came along. Dropped off a TB. TFTC.
Very nice hide. But my GPS was not in very good mood today. We had to search one level down for a while until I read som logs. Then I got it. T4TC
Swapped UN TB "Sidi Bennour, Morocco" Unite for Diabetes Travel Bug for Compass Rose GC.
This has to be the largest in plain sight I have come across. Yet it fits in brilliantly. Thanks from a Scottish Cacher on holiday
A quick find while working in the area. A nice park to have lunch. Thanks for bringing me here.
I went to try and find this cache with my nephew last week. I accidentally slid down the slope, off the 5 metre wall and onto the concrete below. I was taken to hospital by ambulance where I spent two and a half days. I fractued my L2 vertebrae and my illium, bruised a kidney and pulled no end of muscles. I'll recover in time, and I consider myself lucky to have gotten away as lightly as I did.
I have to warn that this cache is in a very dangerous location. I consider myself an experienced cacher, but I found it very difficult to keep my footing on the slope. My common sense also deserted me - if I had been smarter, I would not have attempted to retrieve this cache.
If you attempt to find this cache, please exercise extreme caution. The slope itself may seem innocuous enough, but it ends in an abrupt drop to the street below.
Play safe.

I searched for about an hour this morning, but every time I got within 40 meters of it, my GPS freaked out and would not update. I came back around 10:30 am and found it right away. TNLNSL. This was my first geocache south of the equator.
Coordinates were off from the location. Found it and had no luck getting the lid off. Wandered about a bit looking for something else, eventually returned and gave the lid some more elbow grease and bingo! Thanks.
Found tonight after supper. In visting from the US. Loving your country and caching along the way. TFTC
Found after dinner nearby. Took a fair while to find in the dark, scurrying up and down the bank as the gps was a bit all over the place.
Found it with Fire_Mansan after dinner at a loverly Sushi Restaurant. Highly recomemnd this cashe and the restaurant.
Lovely cache spot. PVC was a brilliant idea. Might pay to clean the place from the bottles :/

Love the camo! Came at it from the wrong angle to start with, should've read the description first. TFTC
Liking the idea of collecting a couple of TB's and moving them on, Geokid was keen to get to this one.
It took a bit of hunting but when we read the description properly, the cache was in hand. We filled in the log and took a couple of TB's. We saw Beadshare#10 Flamingo and left it there but did not see US Marines or Cat Travel Bug - Denali.
Picked up TB21F4N - Bo'sun Gnome. It hasn't been recorded as being here but we are taking it to Australia.
These are beautiful gardens, thank you for bringing us here. A very clever hide. Thanks.

had a good look but couldn't find it!! managed two others nearby though. Lots of broken glass etc. so didn't fancy poking around too much. Visiting from the UK with a TB - will find another location for it.
A very nice hide. Took a while to find as the GPS appeared to be having a 'senior moment' and not zeroing in on GZ. I always enjoy coming to this park. TFTC.
Cache #1 in NZ. Out after the rains to take pictures of the birds in the park. Decided to log a find on our first outing. No travellers here but left a few. SL TFTC!

#810, Didn't like the tramp nest as it was covered in mess and broken glass, this was next to GZ, Cache setup was cool though. TFTC
Quick find during a few minutes free time before shooting off to the airport for a flight back down to Nelson. TFTC
After having tried to find this cache for 4 days, Finally we found the right tree ... there are so many trees that its brach was cut off ... TFTC, TNLNSL
This is my second find! Found it with chupajoob after 3 failed attempts. our persistence finally pays off!! .
We tried to find this already yesterday but it was raining and we failed to find the cache. Today we were luckier. The cache was still quite muddy after the rains. We picked up a TB here. Thanks for the cache!
Found while visiting Auckland on the last day of our conference. We dropped off the travel bug.
Many thanks for the cache

Out with evilno9 after work for some caching training session for 3hdub - a new addition to our community! It was little hard because of fading light and we made sure we searched the whole area and as we decided to leave, somehow manage to find the right tree and the cache! Nice hide.

Out with snakelion and new recruit 3hdub doing a few caches after work and tried our luck here. As the last of the day's light had faded we had a bit of trouble finding the right tree and had called it quits a few times before going back for one more look. On our last "one more look" snakelion found the right tree and the rest was easy. TFTC
Set off to find this with two of the kids. Let Master Dean take the GPS, but he lead us to the road, which didn't feel right. Found something that fitted the hint about a tap, but there was no way a 1 litre container was anywhere nearby. Should have read the description better. Headed back into the park, and got a bit freaked out, as the kids in their eagerness to find, were going a bit far down the bank. Restarted our search, then noticed some other possible geocachers. Yes it was Gernita. We joined forces, and eventually the 12 year old spotted it. Thank goodness for that. After a chat with Gernita, we went our seperate ways. TFTC
Discovered Dean Crew at the GZ and joined forces to look. Trying to keep away from the edge of the precipice while looking for the clues. Eagle eyed dean Crew the elder saw the tree and found the cache. Most excellent skills from the young man!

This one was not as easy as it seemed but we finally made it on our first attempt to find a Kiwi cache. Since we stay here for a longer time, we hope that this is beginning of a long-long series of caches to be found on these lovely island(s).
Kia ora from Germany and now proudly living in Auckland.

We looked at this a while back and realied it was probably 'above us'! This time Co-ords were pointing me down a slippery looking bank, I slipped and slided to ground zero when Kimbo screamed 'got it' amazingly she had stumbled across the hide without a torch!! How is my luck this evening? Just off to wash my jeans!
Out clearing off a few around Aucklan this evening, we sadly leave in a few days.
Grabbing a few caches in the area while passing through on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.
