spent 25-30mins looking for this one to no avail :S so frustrating sitting on the seat thinking how close you are....
this is the second time we have been to look for this one. No luck again. May we suggest that you update the clue for this cache, or perhaps relocate it as the poor garden is showing very obvious signs that geocachers are looking for something. We would hate to see the garden destroyed any further.
No luck for us today, so many muggles around that after a few minutes we were starting to look suspicious so has to be a DNF
Almost gave up. In fact, had already written DNF on our bits of paper when decided on one final careful look in the sort of place where it ought to be. Found it. Strange satellite signals did not help, or that it was definitely more than 1m from where the clue said. Replaced it as and where found but may be tricky to find. Put coin PCVHQ1 in here after finding it at Glen's wonderful cabbage tree. Found with NZBottom and VKs1.
Found with DIONZ, NZBottom at 3pm. About to flag it but for DIONZ perseverence. Muggles central...made for interesting attempts at subterfuge. TFTC.
Had lunch on the seat then did a bit of gardening.
Found the cache.
The log was in a sorry state so I added a new log and replaced the bag.
That winter weather has been filling up a lot of caches recently. TFTC

OMG getting really bad now. Couldn't find this either. Must be tired. Shame we couldn't see past 5 logs though as the.pud's log may have helped us here...
12.30pm. Out for lunch in Devonport with JF. Helped in the find. Too shady to linger long here once we had found it.

12.30pm. In the Devonport area briefly with Monkey-business. Shopping done and repleat from lunch we wandered up the main street and soon had the cache in hand. As already mentioned by others the log book is full but we managed to slip in a sheet of paper as a temporary measure to deal with visitors. Nice point to view the town.
Took the geocoin and left a white gemstone bracelet.

hunted everywhere for this one, not helped by GPS jumping us around a few times to give different zero readings. Still gave it fair look and got no hits anywhere. Is it still the stated distance from seat?? Maybe another day.
checked on cache, had moved from original spot but was in a great spot as it was when found and nearer the coordinates posted cache is still there and waiting to be found!!!
It the cache still there or has it gone [?] it was disabled and then found the next day [?]
No luck. I have found this before and bought geoali and tashypooz to find it but none of us could today. I definately think muggled.

Oops. Edited log.
DNF on this one. Might have been looking around the wrong seat. We were in the middle of a lovely garden bed. Didn't find it though.
Wandered down the road after and had one of the best meals we ate while in NZ at Angkor Restaurant.
Thanks.

MommaCakers and I were cruising on the cruise ship Star Princess and decided to take a ferry to Devonport on our day in Auckland. When we arrived at GZ, gardeners were working on the landscape. We made a quick look, but then moved on since we really couldn't get down and dirty with the working muggles so close by. Thanks for bringing us here.
Weather was a bit drizzly, but made for fewer muggles in what could be a busy spot. Log book is full and needs replacement. Great vista from seat.
Took some local muggles with us to explain what caching was all about. They loved it.
QWIK FIND ONCE I SORTED OUT THE RIGHT SEAT(WHERE WAS MY BRAIN??)GREAT VIEW ON A NICE SUNNY DAY-TFTC
Quick find but took awhile before area was muggle free for retrieval. TNLNSL TFTC
our 5th find today of 5 searches & our 3rd attempt on this one - we must be getting better at this! but there may be some cache creep here as its a bit further than the clue would have you believe. NINO TFTC
Was a quick find, but had to watch out for muggles as they approached from all different directions, nice view from up here of all the shops, TFTC TNLNSL (951)
Second visit for the Tom Tom kid. First for me.

Took a while to find with lots of muggles around, only needed GPS to find the seat. TNLN TFTC
1.30pm. Initially had the wrong co-ords in the GPSr, once corrected we searched and searched.
Used the clue and found many places that fitted.
Oh well you can't find them all.

Not too many muggles around which was luck as it took us a little while to locate the cache. Great spot T4TC.
First find for us in N.Z.
Just having a quick 4 days over from Brisbane-Australia.
Caching isn't the main reason we are here... but hey! Why not!
Just had a great walk around North Head, amazing history!

Hi Nice quick find, didn't really know that chair was there. Left CC and Handmade bead Also dropped of Ellens Bug for it's next trip.
Uhm, this one ended up being a bit stinky as I searched where four-footed visitors had previously stopped. I love D'port and loved an excuse to come here. TFTC.
Off caching with Indiana Jill. Didn't even know that this was here. Spent some time looking then whoola, Indiana Jill came up with the goods on this one. Thanks for bringing us here.! TFTC!
Had a quick look around, but the neighbour was out smoking.
Nice little park. Will be back.

Found on 2nd visit after reading logs to get some additional info. In the sport of orienteering we use the principle, that if 2 similar features exist within the target circle the control description should specify which one. For example 'SW seat'. There are no such rules in Geocaching. Which makes it more challenging. Thanks for the cache.
Out caching today with Team Hemi & TheMoahunters n NZ. Nice hide. Nice relaxing place for people watching. TNL- American Quarter. TFTC Team Birchland (CA, USA)

Had a little trouble with the coords taking us to an obvious spot, but not the right one. Widened search and found another good spot, and bingo the cache was found. Signed log while enjoying the view. TFTC

Had difficulty finding the correct spot as we didn’t see the hidden feature in the middle of the tiny 'park'. Drove up to the top of Mt Victoria, read the logs up there and then came down for a second look. Nice one, found without too much trouble the second time round. TFTC.
Gee took me a bit to find the right spot. There is more than one seat around! Once at GZ, I had the place to myself to find the cache. Cheers Gav [3556]
The coordinates took us to the 'wrong side', but reading the logs, realized where to look.

The hint was much appreciated, as the coordinates are a long way off. Great shops and cafes in this part of town. Picked up Travelling Piglet TB and dropped off Cache Drive TB. SL. TFTC.
This is another great location and an easy find even though my GPS was pointing in the opposite direction. Geosense and a good hint make all the difference...DJohnson28
Co-ords still off a bit. took a wee while to find but got it before it was too dark to see.
In Piglet TB
