A quick find, followed by a longer process of extracting a family of earwigs from the cache. The view was nice though. TFTC
Dad said ‘if a sit really still could I be a bearded rock?’ His 70th birthday today
TFTC loved the walk and the views, was encouraged to keep climbing knowing the reward of a cache was at the top
So worth the climb

Great view! I’ve never been up here thanks for bringing us up here!! Found with Sweatyyetinz. Tftc
It's a great little reserve up here with all round views a developer would die for Cache all safe and dry but is now full The punters will be making marginal entries only from now on TFTC
Quick sit on the rock and grab the cache. Few muggles have their jogging in the reserve. Nice view, beautiful weather today. TFTC
I got home a bit early from work and it was a beautiful evening, so I decided it was time to get this cache. A good hour's walk down my hill, along the Island Bay beach front and up this hill to get the cache, and return home. As always, a great view from this reserve. *TFTC presusie #166*
4/3/17 - Started a Geocache adventure today. Aiming for a new personal best of number of caches in a single day. I donned my running gear, grabbed a backpack and got going the weather was awesome this afternoon. Managed to get 20 caches today, a new PB!
As for this cache, good size, good hide and stunning views. Helping me eye up the swim to the island cache!

Approached this one from the shortest end ummm T2?? Very steep!! Day two of our road trip with jordiporsche from hawkes bay to welly and return. Log signed as b&p.Tftc presusie. Find # 3264
Stunning view from up here. A steep climb to cache but well worth the view on a clear day. TFTC
There was a dog walker sitting on the bench on the top of the hill (well, not much walking going on) and I thought I was going to have to record a DNF. But I could see the cache in its hiding spot, and the dog muggle was engrossed with his music player, so I gathered the courage to take a risk, and managed to pull the cache out without being seen. And put it back too! Actually, I don't think he knew I was even there so there was no problem. TFTC!
What a lovely spot to stop and watch the world. Not too difficult to find, once you have climbed the oh so many steps but well worth it, especially on such a nice day.
Tftc, our first in the area, more to come I hope.

#60. Lived in this area 44 years and this was my first time up on this part of the City to Sea walkway. Great views on a lovely sunny winters afternoon! TFTC.
A quick find during a lunchtime outing with TregearP. A beautiful day - as they say, hard to beat Wellington on a good day.
All quiet here today with lovely views down the coast.
All in good order, TNLNSL, TFTC.

Lovely spot. Sad to say I had to engage a few brain cells to find it. The force is weak with this one... Lol. TFTC!
I was up here with Waalisha after doing some snorkeling nearby.
Great location, and we great great weather to enjoy the views with.
As with previous geocachers, our GPS bounced a bit, but GZ turned out to be the spot I'd suspected all along! Sometimes it pays to go with your instinct.
Now we only had to find the cache. Although I couldn't actually see it, as I was searching around I heard the distinctive sound of twigs scratching on plastic and soon I had the cache in hand.
I love finding caches by sound!
Dropped of the travel bug, which unfortunately seems to have lost the actual bug.
Thanks for the cache!

Out caching with Adventurebear007 and Beanadventures. We raced up the steps and enjoyed the view at the top. Love the clue. TFTC.
Geokitten007 and I raced up the steps to this one, leaving granny and Beanadventures far behind. Great clue and great views. TFTC.
Found with whpage. Really good hide, with good clues. Worth the walk! Released a little orange lizard into the wild, if you catch it, it likes having its tail pulled! We obtained a little bouncy buzz lightyear ball which my kids love. Left a geocoin which likes to see lighthouses (which this cache almost does if you stand in the right spot).
Yay found it! Our first ever geocach and the beginning of many more! Such fun! One of us liked the wee dog so we made a trade. Thank you! M & J
Friend of mine had found it day before, but waited until today to go again with me so we could write our names together. Got a trackable from it, will be moving it on to the next cache I find. Very nice spot by the way.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
We were lucky to get a great parking spot at the beginning of the walk. Enjoyed the walk, found the cache in a great little hiding spot and went to the seat to sign the log. Super windy today! TFTC
Finally after a very long break from adventuring because of sickness and moving houses, great view and easy find.
Didn't have pen will have to come back.. but dropped off a collectible.

#1159. My kind of cache. No muggles in sight (although a woman walked past later when I was taking some photos). A nice stroll up a path to a fairly straightforward hiding site. Cache dry and log signed. Great views out across Cook Strait and Island Bay (suburb and island). A bit breezy today but rain held off while I was up here. TFTC
TFTC. An interesting little reserve I had no idea existed, and some amazing views near GZ - as evidenced by a muggle with her camera. She was so busy taking panoramas, I was able to sign and replace without her noticing! Views are indeed spectacular, but too cold to linger today.
#1293 there were a number of targets - but the GPS settled and there it was. All in good order. Took geocoin. TFTC
Lovely spot to wait for my scouting kids to complete the southern walkway and tick off a few gc's!
A quick visit to my local to place a TB - pleased to have been part of its journey from Nepal to New Zealand. After all that travel maybe a little rest overlooking Wellington's beautiful south coast. May its journey continue on around the world!
As I was getting closer to the GZ I could see a couple walking up to the bench and I thought "great, I'll bet that's exactly where it is." Turns out it wasn't and I was able to give myself a little bit of cover in order to continue with the formalities. Picked up the TBs. TFTC
A great view from up here - thanks for passing the cache, wouldn't have come here otherwise. Dropped off x2 TBs
This is a very nice spot - I will definitely return just to sit and watch the Strait. Lost my pen so could not sign the log. Hopefully the photo will suffice. TFTC
First trip away for the year and it had to be down to wellington. At least the rain has cleared up and even with a little wind it is still possible to get in a few caches to try to get the numbers up and take in the sights outside the Hotel room.
Really I should thank work for being good enough to provide me with a rental to enable me to get out and about in the evenings and collect a few more caches.
A pleasant evening and a nice few caches to grab before heading off to Nelson in the morning

A blustery day, but magnificent views in all directions made the short climb a breeze. TFTC
#1138 Had some time up my sleeve today while out running errands so decided to find a few more caches around the South coast that I hadn't found yet. Made my way up from the top of Oku St and had my hands on the cache right away. Coords spot on. Took the cache to the seat and admired the view- beautiful landscape and a perfect day. The pen was out of ink so I took that out and also took the TB to move on. TFTC- great spot!
Visiting family and friends in Lincolnshire, and carrying an important TB, we brought this little fella for a scenic walk to place him in a cache.

Having logged two (2) DNF's today on the southern coast, I'm glad to log this cache for the day.
First time up this track, I must return on a nicer day and walk this track.
• Easy find
• Contents dry due to well covered hide
SL TFTC presusie!
and as always ~Happy Hunting

Early morning airport run meant I was up here at 8am when the sun was just warming the hill. GPS was just waking up when a jogger ran by, then I read the hint and made a quick find. TFTC
Left some Bitcoin (5 mBTC at 1HigrzPXoh7eE7TPFSftFwgnSpZvFp4geE) and took bad karma trackable (PCDKEH). Finishing off city to sea walk
Found today with The Wandering Dragons. Lovely view up here! Was muggled by a dog-walking family, and the dog came up and kissed me while I was examining the contents of the cache!
TNLNSL. Thanks.

Cache # 1,728 - a nice short detour on a day without wind. Without wind, unless of course you were on the ridge! Amazing how the wind went from nothing to 30 K just by going up a few metres. Did this with Violet Butterfly. Amazingly busy walkway. Cache was a quick find, although got muggled twice while we were sorting out signing and swapping. Traded trackables. Thanks for bringing us to a lovely spot.
Took a little bit of time to find it, given the wind was typically Wellington(esque) that day. Worth it though!
#595 Found this one on day 78 and the last day of my walk from Cape Reinga to Wellington along Te Araroa. Bit sad its over, but nice spot for a cache and a chance to appreciate what I had done. Cache in good order.
