Another morning drive around to find a few more caches in Bunbury.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good quick finds.
A different puzzle with a nice safe hide at GZ.
Thanks for the cache Mr Macca,

An early start saw us at the part with walker and doggie muggles. We soon found the start point and wondered which way to point and how far. After a bit of scout around we had the idea and soon headed to the right spot after. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

[I found it... eventually. ] I think the coordinates are very different to actual location though.
This was our 3rd cache find in a caching run of 10 Finds & 1 DNFs today.
We found it at 09:48 so this now makes our total find count 7700.

Another day out caching with The Drovers. We started quite early in an attempt to beat the heat - and by and large it was a successful day.
We spent quite some time here today, and eventually figured we were a little "short sighted". Some of the mothers tending kids in the area thought we were on a team building exercise, and we didn't disillusion them.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Mr Macca for the hunt today.

Another morning caching with Ian and Penny, before we went out to lunch.
We walked around for some time, before the penny dropped.
After that, it was a quick find.
Told the Mum's watching and wondering what we were doing, that we were team building.
Many thanks, Mr Macca, for the cache.

Wow! What a great geohunt cache! This is definitely the best mystery cache I have done
had me stumped for a while there then I looked at the date when it was placed and realized so then I found it straight away. tftc
GPS wrong. Good location. We went in the wrong direction and when we figured out what direction it was easy.
Didn't quite complete this cache in the spirit it was intended, but I managed to locate it all the same.
TFTC Mr Macca!
TFTC Mr Macca!
So glad to have this one crossed off. Been a few times but lots of muggles and gps had me on the road so gave up within minutes. Read a few of the previous logs and the clues again and found it ever so easily tonight.
Must be careful in the carpark later at night as we did come across a young couple 'parking' the other night

Pleased to report the cache is still in the right place! Keep
Looking fellow cachers - think
Hadrian's wall!

DNF, searched everywhere we thought it might be, next to hint, that didn't help us either. Thanks anyway, it is a great playground for kids
What a great playground can see why it is so packed out. Will have to come back another time when it's not so busy maybe with some kids.
Wasn't sure if the cache was still current after all the construction work, (didn't check previous logs before heading out) Lots of muggles due to being fathers day. Will have to come back and search again.
Found between showers on a wet Bunbury winter morning. A long way from the construction site, but had to locate it without lining up the drink fountains. Thanks Mr Macca
Our second DNF on our epic Bunbury weekend. Tried not to look suspicious hanging around a childrens playground. Could not for the life of us see where it could be. There's construction going on, and a whole area was fenced off. Wondering if it might be behind the fence.

Ran into fellow cachers at this one, and we all worked together to make the find here. Geobuddy put us in the right vicinity, but Chwiliwr was the one to find the cache first. Is always great to catch up with others on my geocaching expeditions. TFTC
Had just arrived at this one and was deciding which was the right direction to head when we met Mistraluna and geobuddy. Went back to where Mistraluna had been whilst geobuddy went the other way. Should have followed geobuddy as it was the right direction to go. Cache was soon found and the log signed by all.
GZ had us in the middle of the road, not at the fountain. So that was a bit confusing until the log was consulted again. Geokids sent to the park to burn off youthful energy [^] Step one done easy enough but step two gave us a few choices. Last one came up trumps. Geowife overheard another cacher (Jusmop) waiting for us to leave and advised to wait while the cache was returned to the final GZ.

Dropped the family off at the wildlife place and I set off to have a crack at the nearby caches. Couldnt get to line up GZ from the fountain as there were quite a few people in its near vicinity. Made an easy find none the less. Great concept though.

Found this quite early before all the children were out and about. Liked this one alot! TFTC!
Found this time. I realised there were two sets of steps!! Easy find once I got the right ones TFTH
What a fantastic place to visit. We had fun climbing the rope net and enjoyed finding this cache. TFTC
It is always a worry when a cache starts near a playground, but fortunately, this one led us away to GZ.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
The playground was not in use here today and anyway the instructions take you quickly away from the action anyway. We were easily able to follow your instructions and were quickly rewarded with a cache find.
Thanks Mr Macca
Thanks Mr Macca
Didn't find any of the McSwamp caches today This one had broken beer bottles and other things all around the area. I didn't poke around too much as there were few people around. Thanks for a nice trip out to the swamp though
Lined up in the wrong direction at first but soon worked out the error of my ways. A good bit of fun
We scratched our heads for a short while but then it seems obvious. We lined things up and it took us where we wanted.
The swings are extensive.
We were thinking that this park would be a good place for an outside event and picnic.
It had BBQs and toilets and lots of room for a large group to sit and chat.
Bunbury has lots of quality parks we wish Perth had the same ratio.
Thanks for the cache

This is one of the best playgrounds I have seen. There are some excellent pieces of equipment that I would love to bring my grandchildren to play on. There are also two sets of spouts, one lot metal topped, the other black plastic - the information provided relates to the plastic topped ones. From there it should be an easy find. Thanks for a puzzle with a difference Mr Macca.
Found on a Bunbury caching day with urch. We faired much better today having looked at the previous logs after our DNF and realized we were looking in the wrong area. We scored a hint from some fellow cachers at the event this morning. When we got back to McSwamp we found 2 sets of spouts and we of course had used the wrong ones . Thanks for an interesting and different puzzle cache.
Pop up Pirates did a great job at solving the clues but after a race to the cache, I found it.

Found it with friends, lovely park, lots of muggles around though. Easy find. TFTC
Pretty straightforward when you head in the right direction! Number 7 for the day. TFTH.
A very clever cache. nice to find one without the GPS and relying on your senses.
If anyone finds a scout pocket knife can you please contact us. Many thanks 2+4

Almost missed this one. Too many muggles, but we took a break at the wildlife cafe and they soon left. TFTC.
Thank-you.
Logged as ktmsa.
We had so much fun with this one, and had to watch the muggles very carefully .

Found ok, but had to be very careful as their were council workers in the car park close by, had to be under the guise of sitting taking photos of geo-grandkids playing.
Found with Justoid and English Rose. Justoid had an incident with a tricky drinking fountain - so be warned (although it was pretty funny for English Rose and me). It's worth noting that there is quite a bit of earthworks going on, however the cache had not been disturbed. TFTC.
melliemouse
melliemouse
Oh yes, melliemouse and I couldn't help but laugh at justoid as he attempted to take a drink from a slightly dodgy drinking fountain. Melliemouse is right in warning future thirsty cachers Found te cache just as the workmen left the scene.
We were wandering around the playground and couldn't find the object we were looking for and about to turn back, hey there IS the spot far away. Got it allright. Thanks for the cache.
This is my 950th Cache (GC+GCA) - yay!
Found together with Varuna. We followed the directions in the description, but it still took us quite a while to find the right spot. It was quite a bit further away than we were expecting.
Thanks for the cache!
