Had a really long look in here....
Took some gorgeous photos ..but no cache found .

Spend ages walking around the area, no cache in sight. The area is hugely overgrown
Found hollow stump looked for what seemed like a life time but could not find
With my afternoon largely free I decided to head out of the Auckland urban limit and take a drive in the country. I ended up heading into the Waikato country side. The weather started off fine enough, then I encountered a gentle patch of rain, now it is fine once more. I parked in the car park and made the walk across the fields to GZ. My GPSr was indicating into the water, which I assumed was wrong. I eventually found the suggested coordinates in the logs and tried that instead. Based on a previous finders picture of GZ I am pretty sure I searched the right spot. But there doesn't seem to be a cache there to find at the moment. I suspect this one is missing. The CO may wish to check on this one.
Having just moved to Morrinsville and deciding to take the dog for a walk, we ended up at the rec grounds. I'd already picked this one as the first cache to find in the waikato, and Im very glad i did! It was my partners first time geocaching, so he was a bit surprised when he saw me find it, lol! Beautiful spot, will definitely be back here again! TFTC!
I too could not find the cache until I read an old log. I found the coordinates way out. Try S37 39.936 E175 31.605. This would qualify for a favourite if it wasn't for that.
Back on the road again to finish the NZ Icons series that I started yesterday. The aim is to collect a bunch of puzzle caches so as to qualify for the Pluto Planetary Pursuit. Of the 500 points needed I will end up with about 2000, so I will be long past Pluto and Eris, and possibly somewhere in the Oort Cloud. That should qualify!
Happy Easter!

Hello found this cache sitting out in the open beside the track, about 30m form were the GPS said GZ was, it was beside a old hollow out stump, so stuck it in there and covered it up. Thanks Bitsprayer
NZPatoto and I had organised to do geocaching today. It's been a while since our last outing. I decided to drive that way - if raining I could send NZPatoto to sign the log. We did not let the weather deter us even though at times it was really wet. We managed to get 9 done without getting wet. 6 of 9 Found by me. Nice walk even in the wet. TFTC
Nahkins and I decided to do some geocaching today as we hadn't done for sometime. It was showery and a bit heavy at times but we managed to get 9 done without getting wet. Nahkins spotted this one. It was a nice walk even though it was raining. Some beautiful big trunked trees. Cache all good. TFTC
A nice little walk under the trees. As usual under these circumstances the GPS accuracy takes a little bit of a hit. Found easily enough but not quite where I expected it. All in order. TFTC
Found at a family reunion!! My relatives took the trackable back home with them - (sorry for late log)
This was such an awesome location! So quiet and peaceful, hard to imagine how close we were to some future NZ footballers. Coordinates were also out for us by about 20m (using an iPhone), but the hint narrowed it down and we were glad it was further from the river/stream than the map was showing us. A good size cache in good condition. SL. TNLN. TFTC (& the lovely walk!).
Co-ordinates about 13m out for me so took a few minutes but got there without too much bashing. TFTC.
After looking around the wrong "fallen one" for ten minutes we walked a little further on the right path and found it quite easily
Up in Auckland for the weekend with Team bop (myself Philip.Perry and TNXPRO ) collecting a few of the puzzles we have solved. We had an long tiring weekend but still managed to stop for caches on way home.

Has been a long weekend of caching in Auckland and on the way home we still had time to pick up a few.
Thanks for bringing me here.

On the way home from our latest Auckland mission and figured 'Hey - what's left in Morrinsville?' We weren't sure where to enter from so just scuttled down the bank and then the search began. I found the cords to be roughly 15 meters out but thanks to the hint - the find didn't take too long. Cheers krypton2, TFTC.
Nice walk and plenty of fallen ones to choose from plus gps jumping like crazy tftc
A lovely walk to this one. GPS was bouncing around a bit under the trees but the cache was found.
Signed the log and replaced

A lovely wander with Matt & Kyrageohunting, quickly spotted by Kyra after thinking we were in the right spot. A reminiscing walk for Matt. Tftc Discovered TB Blue and sent him off with Kyra for her first TB experience.
Went geocaching with Livee_nz and Matt after running the Morrinsville College Fun Run. It took us some time to actually find it, but eventually we did! Tftc!!
On the way back from dropping the kids off to their grandparents for part of the school holidays I felt the need to do the back roads as the highway was busy. Came in from the top track, gps had me closer to the river so found a way to get down, hmmm nothing that resembles to clue. Quick read of the log found something resembling clue, and got very frustrated, my dog was giving me funny looks. Had a wee wander along path, another that matches the clue and an easy find!! Thank goodness for that, I made it hard for myself. TFTC. Dropped off TB "Blue".
Well after not being able to find last trip up here, this time took a slightly different approach. Spotted likely spot as i walked, GPS was out at GZ by 15mts. Soon had in hand. TFTC
After looking in wrong place LOL it was a easy find in the right place. Love the size of the cache in the area. Great to drop off toys. Left some glasses and a cool car. Tftc
We had a spare day this week so decided to do a loop and grab some of the caches in the area and
see some new country. There were plenty of trees but the fallen one was the one.TFTC

Found it this is our third time looking for this we were at the wrong fallen tree hahaha
The clue helped heaps as gps had me nearly in the stream. Lovely walk though. Thanks for bringing us here
Secret track's every where gps sent me around in circles...my geo instinct saved me nice cache beautiful area thanks for the cache
#11201. We continued on here from Tickled Pink, and enjoyed the walk through the trees. Found a shortcut on the way back to the car. TFTC.
I had solved the New Zealand Icons series of puzzles last year hoping we would be in the area some time to make the finds and today was the day. StreetWalker, chief navigator, worked out the optimal route, and cunningly scheduled arriving in Morrinsville at morning coffee time. We found 80 caches altogether, our best day out for some time, in fact our second best tally ever. We found all but 2 of the series, with 1 DNF (Bruce McLaren) and one we didn't look for (Kakapo, which has had a string of DNFs).
After finding a nearby cache, we saw this wasn't far away so continued the pleasant walk (in the shade). I took the high road and SW took the low road, and I chose correctly, though the GPSr was pointing closer to the river, it was easily spotted. TFTC.

Great little spot for an afternoon walk whilst driving back to Auckland. Several large sequoia trees in the vicinity. Kiwiscot had alot of fun exploring the nearby creek and making a bridge. Thanks for bringing us here.
Meet my 2 sisters and their children and my mum here and we all did the walk together. The children had lots of fun searching for the geocache and luckily the treasure was found. Thank you for bringing us to this spot.
This is definitely where the hint said it would be but was very exposed so I made a little hidey around it to make it a little less obvious for muggles. Last one for the year yippee.
Went for a wee walk and we found it!! Then got attacked by giant sandflys hahaha but was a cool find
Just moved to morrinsville and thought I'd explore the recreation grounds. What a lovely bush walk along the river thanks for the hide & for bringing me to this spot. Geopup enjoyed the walk too - here he is sitting on a treestump seat having a break
Nice area for a walk. GPS was jumping a round a bit but found it in the end, tftc.
Enjoyed the walk through the showgrounds to this one. A short search and the cache was located in a very peaceful and serene spot down here by the stream. TFTC!
This was our 1st cache nice easy walk from home with the dog.took about 10 minutes to find.
Found this a few months ago but forgot to log it when checking on caches in Morrisville. Took some searching.
After checking in to my motel I headed out to get some provisions and find a couple of caches. I was pretty luck to find this one in the dark. Cheers and TFTC
failed to find this one while up on a work trip. Gps was a little wandry, looks like others had been around near apparent GZ. Maybe next time. TFTC
Co'ords right out, kept being told to go for a swim.after reading a few other logs the hunt this side was back on and found within minutes. TFTC
Wondered where i was off to, but managed a bit of off track for a good fun find. Tftc.
A group of us decided to ride the Paeroa to Te Aroha leg of the bike trail today. As we finished much sooner than planned we conjured up a plan to find some other local caches.
Of course we made this far harder than it needed to be! We made our way across the park area and walked/fell/slid down the bank to the path. GPS's were a little jumpy under the trees so we proceeded to continue down the next bank (in the same manner) and search. The cache was soon spotted by eagle eyed UncleSamNZ (whom had originally suggested it might be back up) so we scrambled back up the bank, signed log and returned and made our way back to the car.
Thanks for bringing us here. Signed Q15 (short for Queens 2015 as its Queens Birthday).

There were lots of juicy places to look. Fortunately, many eyes made light work and we soon had the cache in hand. My GPSr had the cache 18m from GZ. TFTC.
This one took us a little longer than planned. We had 3 GPS unit's all leading us in different directions. But likely my Geopower skills were stronger than the rest of the team and I spotted it from a distance.
Nice park.

Out with a bunch of cachers today, doing the Paeroa to Te Aroha HRT. Was a great day. All logs signed with our team name “Q15” in honour of her majesty the queen, as we did this on her birthday weekend.
A few of us did a few extra afterwards.
Nice park.

Had just finished the Paeroa to Te Aroha HRT trail and a few of us decided that a few more caches were needed on the way home.
Continued signing these with Q15 in honour of the Queens Birthday long weekend.
With the tree cover this proved a little harder to locate. UncleSam hasn't let us forget that his GPS had us bang on GZ when we eventually did find the cache!
A great hunt nonetheless.

After completing the Paeroa to Te Aroha rail trail after having cycled the other trail to Waihi a month ago we decided to find a few more on the way back to the big smoke.
This was the twenty seventh for the day and the weather was superb.
Signed log as Q15 ( for Queen 15 due to it being Queens Birthday weekend 2015)
There were a few of us looking hard at the other side of the river until UncleSamNZ spotted the hide from afar saving us from a swim.

Disappointed with this one. So many potential places, searched everywhere we could think of. Lots of signs of others searching but no luck for us Looked for 30 minutes plus. Beautiful trees, worth the look.
Ellex2 and I were heading back to Auckland after a trip to Matamata to visit Hobbiton. We should have looked a little closer and trusted instinct rather than the gps. We were at the right spot but gps told us we needed to be further downhill, so scrambled down, only to head back up to where we were and easily find the cache.
Almost went for a box floating in the creek. Glad I didn't have to. Good cache
I didn't find it. I wasn't dressed properly for scrambling round in the leaves etc.
The GPS was jumping all around, and it took a bit longer than expected. For us the GPS was 20mtr out.
Left the firehelmet behind, so it can water if there will be a fire in this nice piece of bush

In the area to finish off the NZ puzzle series so headed into Morrinsville to collect a few here as well. TFTC.
Interesting place for a lovely walk thanks. Nice quick find between two muggles boys riding there bikes thru some mud . Oh for school holidays.
Not too difficult to find. Nice bush walk, just watch the bog if it's been raining. TFTC.
Lovely walk to reach the cache. We took a roadtrip from Auckland to the Wagon Wheel bakery in Morinsville and this was the icing on the cake (badoom chish). Thanks
This was a nice stroll. It was a pretty easy find, although my coords were a bit out. Thanks for leading me here!
Went for a little walk after doing the first one of two power trails in the area.
GPS was dancing around all over the place, but found it eventually using the hint.
Left a pet rock - a pig. TFTC

A day out with alpenmilch80 and Vamber completing the Kiwi Art Project.
Decided to pick up a couple of extra ones in Morrinsville. After a bit of a walk, this cache was soon in hand.
