I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact me by email (including GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days, you will need to create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; "if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can." and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Please respond to this situation within 28 days to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

Today I decided to go shopping with Mum so I could pick up a few caches I hadn't found yet, so we (including my brother) decided to give this one another try in the light. The river was pretty high still, but it being daytime we managed to find a way to get across and retrieve the cache, which is in good condition. TFTC!

13-Jan-15
Decided for the first time to go for some nighttime geocaching with my Dad and Brother !
We didn't get to the cache, but we could see it! Its been raining a lot lately and according to my phone the cache was on the side of the river with the path, however when we got to the area we realised we were at the very edge of the river and couldn't get to GZ, I think the coordinates were pretty spot on, however on the map the river was in the wrong place Razz Eventually using the torches we had a look over onto the other side and saw the cache, so I'll have to go back when the river is a little lower and I'm able to get across or when its light and I can find another way!

Walked on to this one after finding the other cache further up the creek. I'm glad I didn't stay on that side of the creek as the track soon petered out into long grass and bushes. Approaching GZ I hopped over the creek (thankfully but a trickle, otherwise my shoes would have got wet!) and accurate coordinates had me right on top of the container. As I bent down to extract the cache, I felt something sharp on my knee - I stood up and found a biting ant had attached itself to my leg! Luckily it wasn't a bull ant and the cache was soon retrieved, my mark was left in the log and after re-hiding I was back on my way.
TFTC.

Still in good condition but not an ammo box. Rather a big plastic cylinder.

Couldn't find it after bout 15 mins of searching

11-May-14
After dodging a trail bike rider on the way to GZ I had limited time for this as the light was disappearing. So I quickly jumped across the rocks to the other side of the creek and started poking around. Keeping the size of the cache in mind I stopped lifting rocks and got down on my hands and knees and not too much later I made the find. Cache all in good order. Thanks Scubacrazy666.

25-Jan-14
Lovely spot. Great for walking the dog. Found it with ZionRootical - his first cache. Took a token left a pen 'cause there wasn't one. The cache had been removed from its hiding place and was just lying on the grass. We have hidden it in a depression near where it probably should be and covered it with dead leaves. Get back to me if you can't find it and I'll show you. TFTC

As per always, if there's a hard way in and an easy way in, I never fail to take the more difficult one. This was no different, but once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and I took the easier route back to the car.
Thanks to Scubacrzy666. Cache needs new Log Book, I didn't have one on me today.

Dodged the bogans to get to this cache, just a few moments of rock jumping and I picked out the hide location from about 10 metres away.

06-Jan-13
A find very close to home for us on what we believed was going to be a "lazy Sunday".... 22 finds later and we still hadn't really left home. While it was easier to get near to the location of the GZ, it was made a little more difficult at this time of year due to an army of bull ants which seem to have taken over a lot of nearby rocks (though very luckily not the cache, and even luckier we were dressed appropriately for such an occurrence). Cache was retrieved, signed, replaced and a hasty retreat was made (the cache was in a good condition also) TFTC

Found today in the company of Dutch Frangipani. I just hate scrambling over rocks near creeks in this weather but fortunately no slithering things were sighted. Love this size cache

Find # 2424

Today I had planned as a caching day, normally a good friend celebrates his birthday today, but due to the fact that he is travelling overseas, I had the day free to go caching. I received an email from my caching partner in crime, SedgwickDave and he was free and eager to go and find some caches. We decided to head towards the Melton area and the Intervening Days V and Scubacrazy666's 1000th event which I unfortunately missed last year. We decided to leave early and to find a few caches on the way there. I picked up Dave at 9.15, It was a beautiful Summers day, just perfect for caching.

We managed to park within 100 metres of GZ, we arrived, but I had spotted the cache from 5 metres away. Lots of rubbish around here, could do with a CITO. Cache re hidden a little better.

Thanks again go to Scubacrazy666 for the Cache. TNLN

Found @1135 #2281
On the way to the Intervening Days V event with Ahomburg and not having cache in the area before was keen to check out the surrounding region. Today's run resulted in 23 finds and no DNFs, nice. Today's challenge was also to find at least 5 different cache types (6 actually counting the trig point on GCA), done.Big Grin A great day overall with ideal weather conditions and a light southerly breeze.

Always fun doing a bit of rock hopping and today the coordinates were very good. A nice size cache too. TFTC Scubacrazy666 another of yours found today.

The usual TDC cache grab had been put on hold for a week, so I was looking at doing a solo run when I remembered I had a rain check promise with the legendary RebelActs to go on an evening caching run during the school holidays at some stage in the future. Well tonight was the night. We met at Glen Waverley and were soon moving west to Melton. It’s hard to find locations close to either of us where we haven’t already cleared out the area, so the Melton area was easily accessible and fruitful enough for us both. In all we visited about 33 locations with only two DNF’s, one DNA, and 1 very flat tyre. All in all it was a great night out. I finally got to meet RebelActs after corresponding and talking for such a long time and never actually caching together!

This was an easy find for us tonight as the cache was visible from the other side of the creek. thanks.

It's always fun to ford a creek when the sun's shining. Found nestling in its nice big hidey hole, signed and managed to slide a foot clumsily into the water on the way back. Oh well, it'll dry.

When we found this cache it was not in any container and as we did not have one with us could not place the plastic bag in one. Can you please revisit your cache and place it in a container as am not sure how the winter weather will effect the cache if left in just the plastic bag?
Thank you, Scubacrazy666

16-Jun-12
Replaced missing container with a 1 litre plastic container (again). Sad

All good to go. Smile
