It took a while but eventually I found it. Luckily I was not born under a rock.

Had to walk out onto the jetty for reception. Ah yes, a cache nearby. Spent ages looking. Finally a muggle friend said what about here? a place I had rejected as being too xx@#$x.Phew got it.Thanks for the cache in this beautiful place!

Today we biked along the bottom of Lake Ohau around to the weir.
Great bike ride on a lovely day. Caches were mostly easy to find .
sorry for all the copy and paste but need to get these finds logged.

A nice detour from the canal. Didn't sign the log as we forgot to bring a pencil on our bike ride. TFTC

Thank you for bringing me down this way! I have never been here before and it was a nice quiet spot to find. The cache was soon in hand and then I went off to the nearby dock to take some photos. Others arrived to eye the road beyond the gate, but turned back. Probably wise. Cheers erninz for the cache!

This was our decision point. Do we or don't we go for Ben Ohau. We did and conquered despite the fresh snow up there. Since we hadn't turned around earlier we stopped here on the way out and picked up some apples from two adjacent but different varieties of tree as well as the cache.

This was to be our consolation prize if we couldn’t get the Ben Ohau pair. No consolation required, and with bonus apples. Thanks for placing. Found with I-got-it.

On our trip through New Zealand we took along some geocaches. We aimed to pick the old or most favored ones but we couldn't resist to log some others as well. This was one of them.

3rd find for the day

The other day when I was on a bike ride on section 3 of the A2O cycleway I decided not to go for this one as I still had quite a way to go. Today in the cachemobile it is a different story - there is a cache nearby so it has to be found. Now looking at the road I might have made it ok the other day.

First wanted to do some fishing at the canals but hanged our mind a bit and drove further on to the mouth of Dobson river into Ohau. This one was a nice and easy one on the way there. Found with PurpleDragonFire. TFTC
