The Seagnoid has come to stay for a long weekend and have some caching adventures. Today we are picking up some random caches around the city before TS flys back home to reality tonight. It was drizzling on and off throughout the day, and pretty darn chilly, but we still managed to get a few under our belts, this being one. Thanks for the cache.
I came down to Chch for an extra long long weekend, staying with That Darn Bear. And today we are out again. No particular aim, except that the bear wanted some multis. Anyway, we ended up in this part of town. We found a puzzle cache in this cemetery then headed off to the nearby multi, and on the way back to the car the bear mentioned this cache. I had a filter on my map, so I never even saw that this was here. Yes! we should get it! I turned the filter off and saw... a big blue frowny! I had DNFed this cache way back in 2015. I think I saw the cache title and thought the cache was under a lump of dirt. or moss. Or something. Seen that before. But it turned out that the cache was missing. This time the bear finds it in under a second. Man, that was fast!
At last! Thanks for the multiple replacements! Pleased to finally get this one ticked off.
Looks like the temporary cache that I placed here in November has gone. Luckily I had a cache container on me to replace the cache properly. I was going to use it for replacing another cache but cant remember if I had put that cache name on the logbook. The cache is tethered and then tucked into a tiny niche. Please be gentle with it and rehide using the pieces of bark to cover it
Had another shot at this one. For whatever reason, this cache is eluding me! I didnt find anything in the center of tree. I did find a tether on one of the branches but not sure if that has anything to do with the cache.
Once we had found another cache down the road drove to this cemetery to do some caching. Searched in the obvious place and saw the cache there so signed log. TFTC
On a visit to ChCh and after watching grandson play cricket Flowerydaze and I found this one. Nice easy find. TFTC Hotspud and Lyttelton Witch
An interesting wander through a historic cemetery - and a quick find of the cache with Talla64. Nice new log too. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache Hotspud and Lytteltonwitch.
Suspect cache was a victim to recent high winds and I have replaced it with a temporary one on behalf of the CO
From the cache title expected this one to be at ground level, still not disappointed; TFTC
Had a thorough search including on the ground in case it hadn’t been put back properly and had fallen onto the ground. Replaced the cache on behalf of the CO
Looked very thoroughly in tree pictured in log but couldn’t find it unfortunately
I think I had a look for this one a while ago, but it has me stumped. Today I must have looking the right way as I soon spotted it. Not hanging, but nicely hidden. Tftc.
This is the closest to my office. For years did not try as I thought it would be too hard and take too long. How wrong was I. Thanks.
When there is a geocache just over the back fence from your workplace you simply have to take a short lunch break and grab it

Have been past here many times forgetting a cache was here. Today is a blank dot day so stopped on way through. Nice and quiet, easy parking. Found you and signed log. Thanks for this cache Hotspud.
Nice easy cache, not hanging in in tree anymore but tucked up in branches. Tftc
As I was walking past to get back to my car I quickly checked this cache. It is no longer hanging and it tucked away at roughly my head height. I repositioned it so it wasn’t so easily exposed. I didn’t have anything on me to rehang it
Man, this was a tricky place to get to on foot from the other side of the water. But, once there, not too long to find it.
Nice quick find after a delightful morning visiting the shops at The Tannery and eating lunch at the sushi place. Wasn't "hanging" as mentioned in the description but the hint had us in the right spot. Tftc
I was looking in the obvious spots when I saw the sneaky little bugger perched up there. Nice hide and a lovely cemetery to take a stroll around in the evening. Some old graves in here! Tftc.
Found it. Another hidden special place we never knew existed. Thanks for showing us the way here. TFTC
Was in tree but not hanging -placed back as found - happy New Year’s Eve TFTC
Just out caching with friends (Isaacss and Angie33210) and thought we would stop on the way home to look for this cache, before it gets to dark. Needed the help of the torch but soon found cache and was signing the log.
Cool cache ... quick find so very happy after a previous DNF today TFTC and rather QF
I'm in Christchurch with my wife who is undergoing surgery in Christchurch Hospital and what better way to take my mind on what's happening to her than to go geocaching. On Sunday I ended up doing 100 caches in a day with the help of the Thompsons Track and a few others. So the next few days the numbers are somewhat less. Having got the four TMGT caches in the Christchurch series last weekend, I thought that it would be a good opportunity to get the Lyttelton ones today.
After getting the four Lyttelton TMGT caches I worked my way around town picking up some others. Then it was time to head back for visiting time at the hospital picking up a few on this side of the hill along the way.
This one had the potential to be a tricky find, but c:geo had been reading about 8m out all day and after I made a correction for that it was a QEF.

I got taken to the Tannery today for the best hot chocolate ever.
I then turned the GPS on and spotted this cache across the road.
Made the quick find and then did a tour of the cemetery reading the interesting signage.
Thanks for bringing me here Hotspud.

Good find! Was looking in the west side of all of the trees, then I thought a little more simple
I needed a little walk after work, so I parked the car up along the river and went exploring for a couple of hours. This one took a bit to locate, and the tree must have seen a few punters by the looks of it! TFTC!!
