Lovely spot to stop and explore, will have to come back for the full circuit - TFTC!!
It's taken a while to get this one as there has been lots of people around. Great spot.
Yay, finally found it, have looked for this one a couple if times before, helps when you've got a proper GPS thingy ay
Got caught at GZ by another cacher, who gave me hints for the find. Thanks for the hide.
How time and the wind has whittled away the rocks to form so many interesting tors and outcrops. Found the cache in its natural hide. Nice one guys.
Quick find. Probably the quickest of the day. It's been a slow day! Log book is almost full. TFTC
First day of a trip around the lower South Island on my mighty Suzuki GN250, weather is perfect today.
great place thanks for placing this cache. Enjoyed it very much, apart from the bump on my head, sure I not the first. #256

Our first find on a five day caching trip to Central Otago. A wonderful place to stop and we loved the camo job. Thanks for the reason to stop!
This nice made cache we have found on our today's trip from Dunedin to Alexandra. As we came obviously from the wrong direction we had to climb a bit over the rocks.
TFTC!

I went for a drive with Matthew and Ben to find this one. We'll be back withour bikes to go right round the lake. Lovely spot.
Hey, woof... JC Cache Dawg here...
Im loading all my finds from my Alpha Males (aka GenCuster) logs, where he deigned to remember that I was with him... As if he could forget...18:45

18:45 On a bit of a mission now before dark, so only a few stops enroute to Alexandra. JC Cache Dawg immediately dashed off for 5 min to rouse up the local bunny population while I extracted (the "left hand push, right hand grab" technique helped here) and signed appropriately. Amazing scenery, for a man and his dog from Rotorua. Cheers, GC

found it in between rain showers on the way back from the dunedin mega event. brill cache hidden away in a unique location. bumped into a fellow cacher logging their find - we knew what she was up to long before pulling up as she had the mega flag up too tftc!
A quick detour off the road to get this one - a conveniently placed stick helped with the retrieval. A lovely spot and I would have loved to stay longer to explore but the weather was not very kind today. As I was leaving another cacher arrived. Left a pathtag. TFTC.
Interesting rock formations here. Mr F had trouble getting his fat fingers on the goods.

After arriving quite late into Alexandra last night and then being up until 2am logging and chatting it was a much slower start for the West Australians today.
We headed out to check out town first off after 09.30. With a mandatory stop at the local bakery for some treats and all were outstanding.
There was a car in the car park when we pulled in but he was busy looking elsewhere. We searched and searched, managing to frighten a bird that seems to have a nest there too. Eventually as usual The Machman located the cache elsewhere!
So cold today we didn't really take the time we would have liked to, to be looking around here.

So this was Day Three of my NZ trip on route to the Mega Event.
We had a very slow start to the day, taking in breakfast at a local bakery
before collecting a few Caches in some very interesting locations around Alexandra.
We headed out of town on route to Dunedin and stopped off at this spot, to take in the area
and find the cache.
Took a few moments to locate the hide, as the first spot I looked in had actually been taken
over as a birds nest.... so beware to following cachers, take care when poking fingers.

A fine puzzle which required getting up close and personal with a most interesting rock. NINO TFTC
Missed the turn off but a quick U-turn solved that - soon found where we were meant to be tried to look inconspicuous as we hunted round as we had a muggle in a campervan close by - found the cache just need to extract it - finally got that done and signed the log - enjoyed the cache Thanks
A quick stop to grab a smiley and a stretch of the legs on the way south for the MEGA Event in Dunedin. A quick spot once gps settled and had it all signed not long afterwards. Biggest delay was keeping an eye out for some muggles parked at lakeside. TFTC
On a long road trip to Tarras with Castlewood_Crew and Ingidayna to pick up my new car. Caching on the way back to Dunedin - sort of. TFTC Find 17/40
On a road trip to Tarras with CachemanChris to pick up a new car for Mr 16. Caching our way back home to Dunedin. Find 18/40. Quick easy find:) TFTC
Another good quick find on a geocaching holiday around the south island. Lots of sheep. SL TFTC
Too many muggles last time we went by. All squre today for Jr catchers to explore and find. SL TFTC.
Dropped off TB after lunch in the area. This doen't need a new log book, plenty of pages skipped to be filled yet. Don't know why someone went to the middle of the book when there was no need !

parked for the night."I think there is a multi here"...gps on....oh, and a traditional 20m away ! duly signed.
Missed this cache on last visit as there were muggles parked nearby so a quick early morning grab this time before heading to Alex and then on to Serpentine Safari.
After rehydrating from my 2 & 3/4 hour MTB orienteering event ride, in 30+C degrees, a soak under a cold shower, it was then time to visit Butchers Dam to find a couple of caches there. This was the 1st find.

No worries spotting this one, and even had no worries with the extraction, thanks heaps.

Quick and easy find, I didn't have to worry about muggles, they were all fishing at a nearby location, well out of sight. TFTC
Mr KE circled the spot and scratched his head getting ever wetter in the pouring rain and driving wind. Finally Mrs KE hopped out of the car and pointed at the cache, grrrr, how many times has she done that today. I imagine this would normally be a wonderful area to spend some time. TFTC.
Easy to spot - not too hard to retrieve. Nice location. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2003)
Fishermen around today but still managed to find it A lovely area Left Jandle TB
Found on our first time caching overseas. We have just arrived home from 2 weeks abroad and enjoyed our trip around caching in New Zealand. TFTC.

Good find, after a great 2hr mtb ride around the area - apart from a steep push, a fantastic half day ride, fully recommend to fit riders!
Quick drive by find on the way home from a work trip to Alexandra with the family.
Interesting rock indeed.

Another quick find, no trouble retrieving the cache as used the small hands of Big Foot.
A great spot for a cache and a really good hide! We spent about 30 min here having a wander around to the dam and taking photos. Another beautiful Central Otago spot. TFTC [^]
