After what seemed like a through search by 2of us... No luck.... Not a easy drive by.....or has been muggled...c.o may wish to check?
I didn't spend too long looking but didn't find the 'simple drive-by' cache as per the description. This cache is on the wrong side of the road - I thought, given the name it would've been on the side of the road as I was leaving NP.
144th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. Found with sunhalo, TFTC SouthernAugurs.
Easy and quick find with a friend took gilbert 300 from the cache and will be taking it to lake rotopounamu next week
Quick easy find thanks to the hint...

Stopped off here on the way back from the Araheke cache, and scrabbled around in the dark for about half an hour before finding it. Left a wooden bee with some flowers, and a small bracelet. Took the motogrrl memorial geocoin to move on. Signed the log book, but it is damp and mouldy, and there is something sticky and red in the bottom of the container. Sorry, but we didn't have anything to clean it up with.
Thanks for the cahe.
Thanks for the cahe.
First cache of the day as we headed out on our drive around Taranaki. Thanks from this Canadian!
Found on the way out of New Plymouth, en route to Wellington, after a successful weekend in this western locale.
Cache find was straightforward, log was very damp, but able to be signed - which I did of course - then re-hidden safely.
Dropped off 3 trackables here. Seems like a place from which they could expect to be travelling on soon.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Family waited in the car while I scoured the many bushes. Finally found he well camouflaged cache. Log was wet. Thanks.
updated log: found originally by will'n'grace, now called willeraus and cazzamatazz
Only had the GPS on the tablet which seemed to be sending us in circles, but persevered and found. SL TFTC
My GPS was misleading me and it began to rain. But I took the challenge and discovered the cache against all odds.
Thanks for the cache!

1st find of 3 caches. Looking in the wrong place cause we forgot to bring gps with us down to taranaki but found it eventually. Lava rock is pretty cool as well.
Grabbed this one on our way back into New Plymouth after a misty visit to the Mountain. t4tc
On our way back from the volcano, and saw this one on the GPS as we were driving by. A quick stopover and we were back on our way! Checked out the lump of lava before leaving though. TFTC
Crossing the Northern Island found on our way to mt Taranaki.

Spending a couple of days in New Plymouth. Second attempt. Tried unsuccessfully to find this one at night the last time we were here. Much easier to find during the daylight. No muggles around which made for a fairly quick find this time. TFTC.
Found on our trip around Mt Taranaki from New Plymouth to Hawera and around the Surf Hwy 45.
Thanks for the hide and the information provided at GZ.

A quick stop for the last cache of the weekend...a lot of empty beer bottles in the area. tftc
Took two attempts at this one, due to muggle traffic - resting at layby. WP all over the place first time. 2nd time it sent us to the right area.
Wicked little spot, found it once we used our "girls" eyes LOL
Took plastic duck (the reason being is because my partner is nicknamed "duck" - replaced with $0.50c as this is all we had on us today)

Found with Rhyslostplot on way towards the Lost World Highway TFTC. Left Compass Rose TB.
A nice but busy spot to stop on the way to or from New Plymouth, love the tanks. Thanks (tanks) for this one.
Nice and easy find. Last cache for the day. Have to thank ozlad for the great NZ caching experience. Xie xie ni.
Blended in surprisingly well with its surroundings. Found it after a bit of a search. Had to hide in the bush from a passing farmer on a quad bike!
The cache is pretty wet inside but logbook is usable
TFTC!

We had a good search for this one before resorting to the hint. We'd already searched there but did so again to no avail. Maybe this one is missing?
A DNF, don't like these! 3rd one for the trip over here in NZ. We searched all over but couldn't find it.
Well, that was a good hunt. GPS took me to second rubbish bin, then read clue too literally and went to the .... under ... .....(don't want to spoil it)by the sign..... Eventially figured out what I was doing wrong
Absolutely no sign of any trackables despite the system saying there were - I was hoping to take one away on holiday next week
Cache was a little bit wet, but still totally useable TFTC

Down from the Waikato for the day. Was able to find this cache OK in work clothes after business completed.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Nice place for a leg stretch on the way into New Plymouth. Had just replaced cache when another car parked right beside me - nearly caught! TFTC!
Found @ 17:50. Logged in memory of LRPnz, who is very sadly missed, todsy being the sixth anniversary of her passing. I do wish she was still here to play this game with me. TNLNSL, TFTC.

Arrived with carpark full - what the ...? Wondered what they were all here for, maybe pickup for commuters? This could be pretty in springtime.

Quick find - and another place Mum had never been (well you don't stop at these places when you live here ).
Dried out cache as it was rather damp. Took EMT coin but no sign of the other coin.

Attempted this the other night, but there were muggles camped out at GZ. Popped in today on the way back to the airport to head home. Nice quick find this time. Cheers Gav [8250]
a reasonably quick find, plenty of trying to look like I am doing something else to the passing cars.
Nice quick one.

Swapped out log book, as it was damp and dried out the cache container.
Dropped in white jeep TB.

Easy find between cars, however the contents were very wet especially some of the material swaps which were rotting and holding all of the water. removed some and dried as best I could. TFTC
Was very wet - we took everything out of container and tipped the water out - could do with a good dry. The book was getting wet as the plastic bag had a whole in it.
We’re off on our way home after a great long weekend in beautiful New Plymouth. It’s the first time we’re caching in the Taranaki area. Our last real visit was more than a decade ago! Thanks Southern Augurs for all your caches and showing us around via some of your great caches!
