Whilst doing a bush bash with the Forensic Police Services, raising money for the Flying Doctor Service for 2 weeks, found some at Hervey Bay. Then went on to Cania Gorge. And back to Dubbo. And then on the way home, a Nice quick find. The clips are still broken and contents wet. TFTC

Find #658
Perfect weather today, just right for a day of caching, with pickings around home getting slim, and not having the entire day to roam, we ventured out to do some more along the HEX. Our third outing along here, always enjoyable, will almost be a shame when we eventually clear it out! 10 finds for us today, with only 1 DNF and only 1 search muggled out....
We had this cache on our plan for our road trip recently, that we had to call off after an injury. We got to it today, and found a cache at the end of the road, literally. Broken container clips, ground level, contents have been water destroyed, and no maintenance seems forthcoming. Needs to be replaced. TFTC

Travelling from Sydney to Tamworth, up the New England Highway, for the April School holidays and stopping off along the way to pick up a few caches. This was the 4th find of the holiday.
After finding "HEX Series - Zone 4 Compound" we continued along the New England Highway to this one, turning off onto the Golden Highway to gain access to the rest area. Off into the scrub to GZ, and the hide was soon spotted. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The log sheet is very full and also falling apart, but we found a blank spot to make our mark. TFTC.

Out on the road today with mr_roo on a fast paced, kilometre munching cache cleanup, and grab for numbers mostly, as he approaches his 8k and me 2k.
Our destination touched Ourimbah, Gosford, Mooney, Cowan, Peats Ridge, Wollombi, Laguna, Broke, Bulga and Somewhere near Putty and Yengo, ending with a touch of Cessnock, and Charlestown at the Asylum.
Ooh watch out for the Spiderwebs

Nice quick find on the way home from a weekend in Hill end. Last one before heading home. Got to this one and walked up the track with the gate. Then headed to gz. Found the cache and SL, then when putting it away a car drives up and stops infront of the gate. They get out and stand around. I put the cache back and leave. Geez some people dont understand leave driveways free. TFTC

Found this cache as #1 for the day on our explore around the Singleton area. Left a trackable to continue on its way.
There was a good parking area to leave the highway behind
Then it was just a matter of a short stroll to find the cache amongst the inevitable rubbish left by travelers and locals alike
Rest spots like this really open the eyes to what your 'average' Australians think of 'their' country
There is no pride, or respect being shown.
I guess that just reflects their own lives
The cache was safe and sound and I took pride in signing the logbook [^]

We started our extended trip from Dural. Our first stop was at Berowra Waters. After, we made our way to Forster. Here we took part in an impressive swim with dolphin tour.
After, we continued to Nelson Bay where we had a relaxing couple of days on the beach. We took a little walk up to the summit and the former fort of Tomaree. Here we folowed the beautiful PT from Nelson Bay to Shoal Bay.
Continuing our trip to the Stockton Dunes, we took a quad bike tour along the beautiful dunes and past the ship wreck Synga.
Now we were leaving the coast to drive to the beautiful Hunter Valley wine region and of course tasted some wine.
Thank you for showing this nice places

Today we decided to do some caching along the New England Highway.
On arrival we noticed that the parking area had been freshly resurfaced and there was a work truck there and one mugglemobile.
The cache was easily found and was sufficiently screened to make the grab without attractiong attention.
Contents were nice and dry. Took TB and left a HAL South Pacific Cruising badge. Log was full and there were various bit of signed paper so we left a full clean log. Thanks liila07
