I am currently visiting WA from Adelaide for a few weeks, travelling mostly around the southwest, exploring, visiting friends and family and finding a few caches along the way. Today was a leisurely day finding a few more caches around Busselton before heading up to Bunbury.
This was another nice, straightforward multi and a quick find.
Thanks Manxmann for the cache.

One of the easier Multis I’ve found. A great reason to get off the highway. Thanks for the cache
Continuing on Tuart Drive and stopping here for this quick multi . From WP1 I just took a rough bearing and seconds later I was able to grab the box, which can't be overseen .

This cache was found as a part of a busy day's caching out with ilook4geo. Got to GZ and then eyed off the direction and approximate distance, which gave a feature where the cache might be hiding. This proved to be correct when we went to investigate. The cache was out in the open, so after signing both names, the container was put back with some camo for protection.
Thanks go to Manxmann for this simple offset multi which we enjoyed doing.

This cache was found while out on a caching effort with goingplaces2 for the day. It was a good find and added to the variety of types found in one day. Log was signed and all was replaced. It was heaps of fun. TFTC.

I always like driving through this forest, This multi was solved realatively quickly and we continured on our way home.

Thanks manxmann for bringing me to this location. I found the cache at 10:52:00. This was my Find 11 for today out of a Total number of 11 Finds and 1 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 4388.

We headed out today to complete the very busy busso day challenge, this was the fifth type of cache off the list, after visiting the waypoints and collecting the clues all that was left was to perform our signing duties, happy to say we came up trumps and walked away with a smilie TFTC
Today was a long day! [)] Started at 5:30am packing up the tent, before making head way on some Dunsborough caches at 6am. Had brekky at the Dunsborough Bakery, pigging out on not one, but two jam and cream donuts , before I swung by the hall to attend the puzzle 101 sesh. Following the sesh, after quick visit to Big Rock, I lead the convoy of vehicles stopping at caches to the CITO. Eventually we trashed out and I ducked into Busso for some foreshore fish and chips, before making the journey back to Perth. On the drive back I swung via a few caches in the Ludlow State Forest - although I must say, Ross' mosquitos were rampant! [:(!] Eventually made it back to the big smoke by 8pm.
A nice quick multi, and something a little different. All was in good condition. Cheers Manxmann!

Roaming around the South West today clearing the map of available finds again in the lead up to WAGB 18.

Day 2 of our Southwest Getaway for WAGB 2018, started the day in the Ludlow area completing the multis in the Forrest and a few others before heading into Capel to clear the final few caches we had left to grab there.
Continued down towards Dunsborough stopping off at a few puzzles around the joint, and the ambergate nature reserve before containing onto Augusta where we planned to rent a kayak to paddle up the river but were thwarted by the place being closed.
Picked up a couple of caches around the Augusta area before heading back towards Dunsborough via a few other caches to complete the day. Thanks to the Local COs for their hides

A nice quick multi (even without finding the star picket).
A break in the rain so we headed out caching.

Suscoe was enjoying another lovely day in Busselton.
The weather was pleasant yet again with a top Temp of around 21 degrees, clouds and sunshine, some wind early which settled down during the afternoon. And the sea changed from small wind blown waves and a few little white caps and then no wind and a clam ocean out from the beach.
We cached and cached and walked and trained the jetty and cached and cached.
Thanks to Manxmann for this multi.
We were pleased to see the Tuarts up close.

We think your star picket has disappeared. There is evidence of new signage here. We followed the instructions from GZ & soon had the prize in hand. PP1 was concerned about getting run over by a train so I had to hold his hand. TFTC Manxmann
Tftc out teaching pinky1999 to drive the new 4x4 thought i would grab this one at the same ti e
Thanks for the find, was a lovely adventure while learning to drive ringtailposs's new car
Made a bit of a meal of this one. Couldn't find star picket but improvised. Tftc
Hi there manxmann.
We found your cache **"Ludlow Tuarts"** at 9:17:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15485).
We started the day off by looking for a heidiseeki cache, then we took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types and sizes that were hidden along our route. (We found 5 caches today & DNF'd 3).
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 5m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Whilst walking around trying to find the actual starting point I spotted the cache. After 2 dnf's and no finds I was well happy to make this my first for the day. Tftc
Found by accident by Mrs hs having forgotten that we had logged a find about three years ago. She was quite excited as we were actually looking for a place to place a new cache, and heypresto, there was one already in place.
Oh well.... Actually a good opportunity to drop off a TB that had been in our possession for too long.
All good at the cache, no mtce needed.

Haha it pays to read previous logs before taking the journey to this cache from Bunbury.
I didn't realise the CO has replaced the entire cache and log so I casually drove down to put back the dried out old log. Lucky cache is big enough to hold two log books, I wrote on ziplock bag that it was the old log
Thought with such a beautiful sunny day I'd do it before the scheduled rain this weekend.
I covered cache up a lot more as easily seen on approach

Thanks to the folk that have been taking care of this cache/log for us.
We went there today & supplied a new log/bag & container. Should be all good now, but thanks again to those that have been helping.
Cheers.
Pity about the big old tree nearby

Out today to fulfill the MissionGC task for this weekend. As I reached the starting point for this multie I spotted a person at the required bearing. It was demor who had come to check on the condition of the cache. After a quick search the cache was located. As the contents were completely saturated, I dropped in a temporary replacement log and demor took the original to dry out. TNLN, thanks manxmann
Called in and checked on this one as a friend said it wasn't in the best of shape and since I was heading to Busso thought I'd swing by
GZ has changed a bit since I was last here. I looked for the cache were it was before but no not there.
There was a car parked to the north of the cache that happened to be RockDoctorAU.
RockDoctor found cache in a not so good location.
He replaced the log and I dried out the container as everything inside was saturated. I took the log with me to Busso to hopefully get it dry but ended up bringing it home to put near the fire.
RockDoctor put in a replacement log and new zip bag.
I will return logbook on my next trip down

Was out with the family heading to Busselton for the day, what glorious sunshine today
This quick multi was great for the souvenir.
Logbook and contents are dripping wet. Managed to write name. Placed cache back where I found it but think it is not in the correct location as easy to see and hard to get at.
Will come back with a new logbook on the way home and replace the wet one if no one else does

My other half had a mild obsession with old train lines and we stopped here so he could check out the old bridge, half way there it dawned on me 'there must be a cache here' so I went back to the car and grabbed my phone, was happy to see I was only a few meters away from the WP, next......trying to figure out which way the CO was facing when they were setting the final location. Standing at GZ I had a scan around for obvious locations saw a couple then measured the 30 paces, it wasn't in the first place I checked, but looking back after I found it, was the most obvious place. TFTC
Thanks for the easy offset cache. No trouble finding this one.
We love the bridge.

Not only did I find the cache but I also found a dead sheep (good luck to any one attempting this one in the next week or so as it isn't going to look/smell pretty)
I must admit I wasn't sure how to get my bearings but after one wrong direction I made the discovery I was looking for

I made this one much harder then it needed to be. It took me an embarrassing 30mins to locate it. Worked out the co ords and found the picket easily but I missed the cache on my first throwing doubt into my skills. I widened the search then I went back to have a second and there it was. TFTC.
Stupid cache sense app compass had me barking up the wrong tree. Used my own cache sense and found the box! Went back to wp1 and used a better app to check I wasn't going insane and sure enough all was well.
Tftc found with blaze 169 on our way down Tuart drive. The rain is still holding off but not for long. Find #22 for today
Our final day in Busselton after attending WA Goes Big event on the weekend. What better way to finish it off than to find a few more caches. This was one of them. TFTC
Nice little multi here an a very interesting location where the waypoint is. I didn't venture out onto the structure. Took a moment or two to find the star picket, then I was on my way to GZ where I made a quick find.

We drove down from Perth today and set out to find the WAGB Arrow caches that we solve before leaving home and also a few others as we wandered back to Bunbury where we were staying. Thanks manxmann, another interesting cache in the beautiful Ludlow area.

Jinta29, AlliedOZ, and I had planned a couple of days down south for some time now. A bit of planning for WA GOES BIG, and a lot of caching as well.
Day 2 and we are continuing our expedition.
Got to WP1 and plotted a course (hmmm, some members of our party need to know how to use a compass ) but then again, I can't talk, I think I need AlliedOz glasses when searching at GZ.
I'm Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.

Kyzabra, AlliedOz and I had planned a trip down this way as a lead up to the WA Goes Big Event. This cache was on the list of our to-do's! We were collecting caches on the way home today.
We found the first WP ok and then our GPS's had us in separate directions for s short time until the obvious GZ was spotted . All is grabbed this one after a cursory search missed it

Day two of our trek down to Busselton to start finalising things for the WA Goes BIG in 2015 this WA day long weekend. Traveling with Kyzabra and Jinta29 again today.

Decided to head down to busselton with the geohubby for a few days of caching. we picked up a few caches in bunbury then we headed to capel to pick up all the caches we missed the last time we were there. Picked up a few caches in busselton but we will have to get the rest tomorrow as we ran out of day light. Not a bad day we had 43 finds and no DNFS. Love these nice quick multi,s TFTC

TFTC stopped by whilst driving home from Bunbury today, a quick grab even if the compass had me heading in the wrong direction (couldn't have been me )

I think something has died near GZ! Didn't take too long to find this one. A pleasant surprise as I was expecting a list of things to locate before I got to GZ. TFTC
Throwing caution to the wind, I took a wider view of the area and tried to decide on the best place from rough coordinates and general using the sun's shadow for directions (and then the compass haha!) Found before too long in the hot sun. TFTC
I enjoyed this multi as it gave me a chance to work out how to use my GPS to find a bearing, not done that before. Almost tripped over the star picket but then as I headed in the correct direction I quickly realised where it must be so a quick find. Giving this a favorite for being so quick and helping me learn to use other features of my GPS. TFTC
Of course every person's stride is different but we looked around and worked it out. Thanks manxmann.
Found it as something to do on an otherwise very wet day, The paces need to be BIG. All ok at the cache.
TFTC!! Love it when geo bf says go one way so I go the other and find it!! Love it!!
Missed the star picket but got the cache

Down in Busselton for the "WA Goes Big in 2013" Event and I did some early caching before the fun and games proper started.
For part of the new challenge cache I needed a multi cache. I decided to grab a different one to what I thought most people would log. I arrived but couldn't find any star pickets. Once I figured out which direction was 320 though, I was only left a couple of spots to check. Sure enough, it was in the second one and not where I first went
Thanks for the cache manxmann
Cheers

Have logged this with last Tuesdays date as that was when I found it but just realised now 10 July 2013 at 12.34am that I didn't log a find. No wonder I didn't have a smiley on my map.
Can remember doing it as muggle partner and I didn't bother with the 30 paces. Come to think of it we didn't see a star picket either. As our usual trick is to guess where we think it is and try that spot for luck. He went one way and I the other and I came up with the goods .
