Back to claim this cache along with the other two, now that i'm offical. Last visit on 24 Jan with Ruruwha - guess i'm the converted muggle !
Second of the trifecta up the hill today. We thought we were "there yet" but not quite. So another way was found and after a long search in the general area, K came up with the prize. Like others didn't find the hint that helpful but the co-ords were pretty good. Getting steeper but still a lovely walk. NINO TFTC.
Been through several times, lack of light or no gps...finally went up on a mission to find it with a now converted muggle...she's got the bug and in a serious way...another Geckoh out of the way.
GPS was all over the place, searched for a while, but to many ferns!!!!!!!!!! As it was taking to long & I was chilly down a bit, decided to call it a day! 2 out of 3's not bad!
This had me puzzled. The coordinates kept taking me to an old pa site, devoid of suitable ferns.
We made this a little more difficult than necessary taking a direct route up the bank not knowing there was another path going the whole way. Having read the logs we were a little worried about how hard it was going to be to find the cache. Mr W.E.K.A. spotted it, fortunately

another great cache up this hill-took a while to find this one but was where the clues said it was-think the boys were to keen to get back to camp for the happy hour lol-well worth a stay in the camp with great hot pools and 3 caches up in those hills-what more could you want -cheers jumboz
Nice on route pick up, did take some searching & must have missed the ferns? co-ords good tho & persistance paid off! TFTC Cheers Muzy Man!
Found after a few minutes of looking around. No help from non functioning GPS but I had a good idea it was up here from the last indication it gave me over at the trig.

No cries of are we there yet, but we were glad of a break to search. Took a few minutes to locate. Onwards and upwards.

FTF - Good easy find nice spot and good views. The boys found this and is one of their favorite cache containers. Thanks
