Heading away from Kurow in the direction of Ashburton when I stopped for this one. Interesting history at this point. The cache was a quick find. #6299. TFTC.

An interesting place to peer through the windows. It would probably be a mound in the paddock if the landowner back in 1935, if a recall correctly started its preservation. Cache is in good condition. Thanks Bitsprayer.

We are on our way home to Christchurch after a few days away in Twizel. This was a quick find after checking out the historic cottage which has been beautifully restored. TFTC!

Today we are driving what we have dubbed the Waimate Loop, doing a circuit inland from Waimate and back to Timaru, mainly so we can collect the PMGT caches. As we were driving by we saw the sign for this cob cottage, and guessed there would be a cache here. Stopped to admire this little old building, and to find the cache. Thanks.

An early start on a big day geocaching. Found a safe place to park and quickly found the cache. What a lovely wee building.. appreciate mudbrick construction as built my own in Victoria, Australia in the 80's. Alas lost in the Black Saturday bushfire '09..Walls were still standing, though more baked. I spotted the previous finder was my family KNCN tftc

Found with StreetWalker on day 2 of our Queens Birthday weekend, on a most enjoyable Waimate - Kurow - Waimate round trip. It turned out to be a good choice to head inland as the weather was fine (though cold!) until we reached the coast on the last stage of our journey.
Lovely reminder of how people lived in the "olden days". Good to see it is being restored. Would have liked a photo of the building but SW scuttled back into the warmth of the car without taking one. TFTC.

Been past here many times and finally convinced the hubby to stop. Quick park and grab.

After a walk at Gunns Bush. BBear44 and I had lunch in Waimate and wondered over to the gardens. Then we completed an interesting multi and went on a bike ride. Now it's time to hit the road. Nice quaint cottage. I took a photo.

Today I headed down to Omararma for work, along the way I wanted to grab a chance or two especially to mark progress along I'd never travelled before. Before I stopped at this cache I was starting to get pretty tired so I fired up the GPSr and decided on a spot to stop where I could get out of the car and stretch the legs for five minutes.mit didn't take nearly that long to locate and sign the cache but it was good to get some fresh air and another smiley face on this road. Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.

Mallorcatommy and I were on our journey through the southern island of New Zealand. With the help of geocaches we came to so many beautiful places, saw breath-taking landscapes and had, all in all a very wonderful journey! Thank you to all owners for placing all those nice geocaches!
