After dropping hubby off at the airport this morning, I had the day to find a few caches this side of the river.
After a DNF at another multi, I came here to try this one.
Wasn't very hopeful of my luck, I found the info needed to get the final coords. Checked the location but nothing. PAF who let me know my coords were out, I had added instead of subtracted the last offset digits.
With new coords and info on what and where I will be searching, I arrived at GZ and searched all places on this structure.
With rain now falling and I am covered in wood chips, I had to stop and also call this cache missing.
Lovely park and restaurant, plus plane spotting what a fabulous location.

I already spent ages and was unable to find the 1869 panel (just used the info from the 1959 shooting) and struggled with the accident report because a council ute was parked on top of it (I know he was just doing his job but it's hot so I'm grumpy). As I approached the GZ I realised that the other council workers were watering the gardens with huge trucks at the location. So I'll have to twice it another time unfortunately. Now how do I get out of this ghetto of units and high rise?
no luck for us today
believe we worked out the correct coords as the clue matched GZ
but no prize in hand

Several visit to complete this one. First visit I didn't have the time to do all the reading available as some were quite indistinguishable so I had to really strain the eye sight and it was night time.
Second visit lots of Muggles and some were sitting where I needed to be. Eventually had collected all my database but I had a wrong digit in my conversions, problem solved and off in search of treasure.
Looked and looked working out where my right was, was I facing north or south. Eventually had cache at the tip of my fingers but a little longer to have it in my hand. Signed log and replaced cache as found for the next cacher can experience the same trials as me. TFTC

I’ve previously been here in March and really enjoyed the multi cache element going back and forth finding the numbers. It was a really hot day and I’m sure the cafe shop folks were intrigued with my actions
Take #3 on this one.
My first visit here was 2010, and I had a DNF 18 months later. Most surprisingly I vaguely remembered where GZ was.
This area has changed just a little bit since then. I knew there had been houses built here, but I did not realise how many. Even very early on a very wet Sunday parking was a mission here.
I wandered by where I thought the cache was previously, but the area had changed so much I was not exactly sure. Being a hopeless record keeper - I don't think you could keep notes on cache pages back in 2011 - i had not kept my numbers from my previous visit. I knew that the cache had changed since then, so I probably needed to revisit the posted co-ords anyway.
With the rain pouring down intermittently I had the whole park to my self this morning. I wandered along the path and found all the details I needed. One bit of info was a bit worn and I was not exactly sure of the number hiding under the puddle.
With the rain teeming down I retreated to some shelter to look at the numbers. Of course my dodgy number was a vital one, but then again it being wrong would make the co-ords very wrong. My fist attempt put GZ straight on the bank of the river - on the Colmslie side. Look at the photo again and maybe that number is a ...... No, that is no good either. Hmmm. One last idea to try for a work around and I had a good looking GZ. The rain conveniently stopped for me to search too.
Very happy to turn this one in to a smiley. Only one more to go in the series now. [^]

I actually started this cache 2 days ago. Miss13 was at a sleepover and I had a small window of opportunity to gather the information before I had to pick her up. I found a park and made my way over to the posted coordinates. Oh I see what is required, I love where the info is and how it is presented!
The nearby cafe goers must have wondered what I was up to as I wandered around reading bits and pieces of information, stopping and making notes, taking a couple of photos. I managed to find all of the appropriate numbers and calculated where the GZ should be. Well that looks promising...oh bummer too many muggles. I had a bit of a half-hearted scout around, however time and muggle invasion was against me, so I thought I'd wait and go early one morning in the next couple of days. Well that was the plan.
Geohubby has been away on a boys kayaking long weekend and this morning Miss13 came to tell me it was time to get up - 9.45 am - OMG I never get a sleep in! Fortunately the weather wasn't conducive to playing in parks, so there was no one around when I went to find the cache. I'd also read the previous logs and realised like Que Sera that I'd forgotten to apply the offset, DOH! Now with the correct coordinates, I went to search for the cache and found the container all tucked up in its hiding place. Yay! TFTC thefourbees, I can now add this clue to the others and maybe one day I will get the series finished I really enjoyed this one, so fave point for you.

I have had this cache on my radar for awhile and today after work rusty my geo dog and i had the time to find this cache before dinner with friends. We arrived at posted coords and was surprised to see a beautiful park. We went round in circles finding information which rusty enjoyed. No muggles around and we headed out to find a seat to figure out gz. At gz we had no luck so i read some previous logs and realised i didnt apply offset. I have always had a problem with not reading all information properly . One day i will learn. Anyway . Now at corrected gz i applied the hint but at first went to wrong right then bingo. Happy days. Really really enjoyed learning about this area and this is what caching is about. Going to great places and learning . Definitely a fp from me. Thankyou thefourbees for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

We needed a multi for the weekend for the souvenir. We also needed a multi to finish our spell August challenge. A couple of days ago, at an event, this cache came up in conversation as being a good one for the kids so we decided to do it as it fit the bill perfectly.
The kids had fun running around finding the information and then we made a quick, easy find.

Day out with NyssaFlutterby and Wombles and Co. We had just arrived back at Portside after catching the CityCat to New Farm Park and decided we should grab this multi to complete our day before we headed home. Was very interesting to find where the clues were place - quite an original and decorative idea and made for an interesting read! Then on to the final stage. Where oh where is this cache? While Nyssa, the geokids and I all dig around, Wombles was smart enough to actually look at the clue and steer us in the right direction and she soon had cache in hand. And during all this both my cache and one of my geokids' caches were published, so off we went, with NyssaFlutterby and Wombles and Co charging over towards my place hoping to grab an FTF to end the day too. Thanks for the cache thefourbees.

The geo kids were a bit disappointed that there wasn't a more traditional park here.
They had fun climbing on the "strawberry" nearby anyway.
I'm not sure if there was a clue or not, but even though I've now done 2 scrabble caches in the last few days, they are a bit spread out for me (not driving) but I'll have to check the map and see exactly where they are.

Doing two Multicaches today while Mrs RoddyC is working with one of her clients nearby (first Multi already completed). Like others before me, I was fascinated by the pavement area in front of the Coffee Shop. So glad to have been brought here by the caching community!
Wandered around like a tourist in front of the hordes drinking their coffee and/or having a late breakfast, casually reading all the inscriptions. Got what I could and sat down to work out the final. Checked in Google Maps (Satellite) and it all looks good - so off to GZ. [^]
Just arrived and started looking when Mrs RoddyC phoned to be collected, so left to do so.
Came back a short time later after showing Mrs RoddyC the fruits of my morning labours, and she casually walks in to GZ, takes a quick look around and pulls out the cache! Well blow me down! [:(!]
Log signed, cache returned just before the surrounding Muggles became too curious about our antics.
Found at 10.35am on 23rd April 2016. TFTC.

Back again today. CO assured me that my answer was correct so had a bit of time before needing to be in Ascot so stopped for another search. I can finally say that I have found this one. Yeah! It was in the third place I looked (I was starting to worry about my cache finding abilities). Thank you for fun cache The kids had fun finding the answers for me.
Haven't been to this park for a while. So packed the kids scooters and down we went.
Had the kids searching for answers and one eluded us but I got an answer that looked ok.
Entered the coords and headed towards my GZ.
Area looked good as I could make something of the hint but just couldn't find the prize. Oh well. A DNF for us. But the kids got an ice cream so all wasn't lost.
I'll come back another day for a look as it was getting pretty hot by the time we left.

Killing time after a work breakup, we decided to chill in a park and watch the world (and a rather large cruise ship) go by.
Until we realised there was a cache here!!
So, off I went in search of the clues and Dave helped when I got stuck.
We finally had a good looking set of coords!
But, a little while later, still no cache so made a quick PAF which pointed up in the right direction.
A few minutes later the cache was in hand!
Yippie!

Out for a caching play date with barbbowman and bubba89 which had taken me to quite a few different areas around town. After some time caching south of the river, we returned to the bright side and had bit of a play with this great little multi. We enjoyed reading the various bits of information to be found and quickly had a set of co-ordinates for ground zero. A short walk later and the cache was soon located.
Thank you thefourbees for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy

Found with Kiki97 and Snow Bear on our trip down from the Sunny Coast to visit the local markets. As we arrived a bit early we decided to go for a walk. And as we came across this neat little area we done a search for any near by caches. And this one came up. So with a bit of team work we got the answers that we needed and of we went to GZ. After a short look around things were in hand, thanks to the hint as well.
We definitely enjoyed doing this one. Enjoyed reading all the history in the stone. Especially on such a nice sunny afternoon.

Had some delicious food and learnt some history. No luck with a cache though. Clue seems ambiguous and with the amount of muggle worker tracks around GZ maybe this one is no longer here.
This was an extremely fun cache to do, the only issue was the heat!!! Great location, awesome ground art. Not sure what the people in the cafe thought of me walking around in circles gathering info but no-one asks so I didn't worry. Got what was needed and made my way to the cache nearby. TFTC
After work today, I headed to this cache. I parked in the carpark and wandered to the nearby cafe where I began to collect the required information. I loved reading some of the history. Once I gathered the numbers required, I sat down nearby to make my calculations. Once I had a set of coordinates, I set off on a short walk. When I arrived a at GZ, I was initially worried that the cache was behind the fenced off area. Once I let my phone settle, it told me that it wasnt. I soon had the cache in hand. I signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot. Thank you for bringing me here. I loved the mixture of old and new.
Wow tricky find. Trying to get sons to geo with us, totally not inconspicuous! The cache is not inside the fenced off area.
We did have so many fun finding the clues, I have no idea what the muggles thought we were doing.
No muggles near GZ. TFTC!

Got the coordinates, and pretty sure the GZ is currently fenced off... Otherwise we just couldn't find it.
Found all the clues with the help of 2 geokids on a very hot day (ice cream from the cafe helped) and got good GZ coordinates. Strolled over but the area was fenced off and we couldn't get to GZ. Rats. Scratched and sniffed other likely spots but no luck. Will have to swing by on another day
Only 1 question that did not show /make the answers easy. The hint will only make sense after you find it.

Found on out weekend of watching bands and going to eat street. This was a fun cache to get the clues and also the find. Sitting around GZ even with muggles at the near by tables didn't make you look out of place and with my back to them they could see a thing I was doing.
TFTC, this got a fav from me.

Amazing hide. Clue very important. Never would have occurred to me you could hide something like this. Left Pirate Treasure.
Find number 200.... out with the scout master... we went round and round the clues... her first multi too... tftc... left some Chinese coin...
Dabom81 and myself had found ourselves munchkin free this evening and in need of finding a cache for International Caching Day!!! I have had my eye on this one for a while, so it was decided to take a little drive in the rain and see if we could convert this one to a smiley.
When we arrived at GZ it was dark and not sure how, but we missed finding the information We wandered the whole park in search of the required information and then ended back up at the start again. That's when we spotted it Palm to forehead moment!!!
Dabom81 and myself then worked as a team to collect what we needed. What a lovely spot to enjoy a drissly Saturday night, not a muggle in sight! After a few calculations were made we started our stroll to the final destination. It took a while to find the cache and having the surrounding area a little wet made for an interesting search, but find it we did All is good with this cache. A favourite from me.
Thanks for the cache thefourbees

This was a lot of fun and we didn't have to worry about muggles at the cafe as it seems like most of the peeps who wander by here are reading up on history.
It was my job to add and subtract however I managed to add to both South and East. In my defence, Miss Nurseyjulie sat and watched me do it
We strolled to a quieter spot and started the search without much luck. Then looked at the clue and did the sums again. Ah! Yes! The coords are spot on here
The clue was a bit ambiguous in that it could do with a comma after the 3. But I digress. We searched and were starting to think the cache was not going to materialise when NJ felt it well tucked away. Thank goodness!
So, a lovely time was had by all and we were educated on local history
TFTC thefourbees! A really neat multi. A FAVE point from moi.

I loved this cache. Quite an interesting history about the area. Got the numbers, used the offset - but it would help to subtract than add!! Maybe we would not have spent too long trying to locate GZ. Recalculation done, and armed with the the clue which was a little subjective as to which one and which 3 or arm. But with a little scraping, had the cache in hand. TFTC
I decided that the Scrabble Series would have to be the next thing. So having scored at Cricket I figured a quick trip to play in the park was in order!
Well the park was lovely and that is lucky, because it wasn't quite as quick a stop as I had thought. There I was going breaking the first rule of caching "don't expect any find to be quick". So I had a great time in a lovely park on a perfect afternoon hunting down answers.
Having assembled the numbers I followed my magic arrow to the cache and was happy to make a quick find.
Thanks for the cache BBBB that's two down, some large number to go!

K walked down from Nudgee Road this morning to find the clues but gave up after finding only 3 due to many muggles watching what she was doing. Back with J this evening to finish off and locate the cache. Good hide, fortunately there were no muggles in the immediate vacinity. TFTC - fav point awarded
On the way home from the airport this arvo we took a slight detour to check this one out. Not a muggle in sight - such a contrast to our last visit on the weekend.
We headed straight to GZ for a quick find - thanks to the hint and a bit of luck.

That was a bit of fun collecting all the info (and learning a bit of local area history). Did the calculations and strolled to GZ. Muggles everywhere, I'm sure they were watching us. We'll be back another day to complete this one.
Last cache find for me after a long day out caching. Lots of trads today so nice to finish off with a cool multi. The information gathering exercise was quite a challenge. Had me wandering back and forth, checking things out, scratching my head, adding things up - all fun and interesting too. Finally collected all the information I needed, did the final sums and offsets and headed off to GZ. Put my hand on the cache without too much difficulty there. TFTC, Biggles.
Had fun gathering all the information for this cache and learnt a bit about Brisbane in the process.
Managed to get the coordinates sorted.
Then off to GZ and the cache was soon in hand.
Collected the clues.

T-Tech and I were in the area waiting to board our cruise ship so decided to grab this one. We were surprised at how the info we needed was to be collected and spent a crazy 15 minutes or so running around seeking it all Lots of fun indeed Then we crunched the numbers and took a pleasant wander to GZ. A bit of a search in the right spot and the cache was revealed. A most enjoyable multi so a favourite point from me. TFTC, thefourbees.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
After nabbing a few nearby caches we headed to this one and soon were gathering the clues, after doing the sums and plugging in the GPS we headed off to GZ. We had to wait for soem muggles to leave before making our way to the hiding spot, after an extended search we came up with the goods.

My 2nd in the Scrabble series and another Journey!
Day 1 was last Friday when I finally managed to make it down to this one that is quite close to work. I had never visited this far down the river before and was frightened that the recent building works may have disrupted the cache position. Work the clues and let the chips fall where they may. The only problem with coming on a Friday is the functions that are held at the Cafe! WHile trying not to look TOO conspicuous it soon became evident that this would take longer than expected, so it's a return another day.
That return was this morning! So off I trotted, got all the clues sorted, applied the offset that so many others seem to have forgotten, and the GZ is in Carina....well that's just not right! Hmm well I had a coffee and reworked the clues and got a much better outcome (coffee was good by the way!).
Off to the GZ, only to find soooo many muggles watching my every move. No chance of finalising this one this morning. Off to work.
Back this afternoon, knowing the nature of the muggles that had been my bane this morning, and straight to the GZ to find myself all alone. A few moments later, with the clue ringing in my mind, and the cache was in hand!
If my current record continues with this series it will take me 50 trips to complete....I hope my record gets better because the caches get further and further away from work and home!
Thanks so much for the efforts you have put into this cache series bbbb.

Decided to celebrate my birthday (not telling, it's not about the numbers) with several hours on the urban north caching trails joined by the ever game net88. Another one in the Scrabble series. Have done a couple but am not sure what I'm going to do with these clues yet. Hopefully I've still got the ones I've been collecting. We parked nearby and presented ourselves at posted coords to start our research. Male blindness affected me greatly, but luckily I had younger and far cuter eyes to find the answers for me when I walked straight past them a few times [8)]. Also a problem holding onto the printout in the wind, but we managed to get numbers and they pointed us over .... there.
Yep, this looks like an acceptable GZ. And as I've often said, cache is always in the first place you look - just never the first time you look there. But after trying some alternatives I went back to plan A, and a bit more effort (and ignoring another swarm of ants - what is it with ants today?) a cache was revealed. Clue collected, names inscribed, all safely returned with noone anywhere near us. Love ya work. Cheers.
Thanks for placing this cache, thefourbees. Found in good condition.

Found this cache whilst out caching with P`Prime for his birthday. The car park was full so we parked up the street a little bit and walked back down to the cafe to start grabbing the information. I learnt a lot of things today, one of which was that Prime is quite bad at finding information quickly I raced around grabbing all the information as Prime read out the questions for me. Once we gathered all required information we headed over to the finals where Prime made up for the information by finding the cache in the first place he looked... unfortunately he didn't find it the first time he looked there Thanks for the cache fourbees, it was lots of fun
Sorted out the clues this morning after dropping geosons off at their school holiday jobs. Found the answer to all the clues and then plotted my point. Unfortunately my co-ordinates didn't show an obvious hide and I had to get off to work. Came back this afternoon and identified that I got my exports and imports confused. Soon had a better looking set of Co-ordinates. Soon had cache in hand. TFTC. When I got home I realised I forgot to grab the clue. Ahhhh back again sometime soon.
Well this one put a halt to our quick caching afternoon.
We came to the posted co-ords and found the details we needed. What a great spot to spend some time.
Calculated the offset, fired up Ms Garmin and took a short stroll. A quick look around the area turned up nothing and by this stage it was starting to get a little dark, so we went back to the car to get torches. On the way back, I recalculated our numbers and picked up an error. So arriving at the next gz we realised we must have made another error as we were in no mans land.
Back to the drawing board to confirm we had the right numbers, we picked up another error and then debated another point. So with two possibilities on board, off we went again, landing deeper in no mans land. So last chance with our debated number, this took us to a more promising place and after some time we had a cache! Yay us.
Thanks thefourbees for bringing us to this great spot where we spent an enjoyable couple of hours.

at 15:50. Answering the questions provided an interesting occasion. Finding the cache was a little more difficult.

I stumbled upon this park some months ago after finding another cache nearby and had no time to pursue the multi then. This afternoon I came on 'Mission Scrabble'.
There was a wedding shoot happening nearby and the reception in full swing at the cafe but I just went about my business without interfering in the event. I got a few glances at times as people no doubt wondered whether I was a history buff, wandering around staring at the ground. I had to go back and forth several times to find all the info, but once I had them, did the calcs, applied the offset and went for a walk, I found the coords to be spot on.
Failing to read the hint, I reached under the front of the object in question and managed to get a glass splinter in my finger somehow! Ow! It bled a bit but I dealt with it. Pleasingly, after then reading the clue, the cache was exactly where I reached for it, and it was easy to do the biz and replace without any muggles being the wiser.
More clues obtained and on we roll. TFTC again BBBB.

Found after work. Good hide, this was the third attempt after being muggled the previous 2 times. TFTC
Loved the area. It has been put together quite nicely. My first impression was that I was facing the wrong way but managed the find in the end.
Returned to get the cache today. Last time I gathered all the info needed, and wandered off to track down the cache. A couple of families had decided to set up camp right at GZ. I had a very quick glance and decided I knew where the cache would be and left it for another day.
Had spent quite some time gathering all the info, when a very friendly security guard came up for a chat about all the history around here.
I am working on the new units near by and spend some time here at lunch time. It is a very pretty area.
Thanks thefourbees

We were up North sending our teenage daughter off, as part of a team, on a mission trip to Vanuatu and I didn't want to waste the opportunity so I prepared a list of caches in and around the airport.
We had SO much fun with this chasing down the required info to ket the coords, it was an amazing way to bring history to life.
Once we had all the required info we headed off and luckily Geo Mum read a past log and it hit me that I hadn't done the adjusted coords.
We headed for real GZ and the confusion started, which one which side, what does that clue actually mean and where do we start.
We did a basic scan of 2 areas and then concentrated on the closest one to the coords and we searched and searched and searched and had ourselves convinced that it must be somewhere else.
We were having such a great run and I wasn't prepared to give up without a fight so I persevered and eventually came up with the prize.
Thanks fourbees TFTC SL TNLN

We certainly had a play in this park! Luckily there were three of us today, and we each found different parts of the puzzle. It was very interesting reading about the docklands, and it's history.
Answers in hand we walked off to GZ, and found - nothing! The other two read about the offsets together, it was applied, and the cache was soon in hand.
Very nice multi.
Thanks, Robmc.

Visiting Brisbane (from Sydney) to play in the Queensland Scrabble Championships so simply had to get a start on this series. Will try a few more during the weekend before or after playing Scrabble all day. The National Championships will be hosted by Queensland over the easter weekend next year in Southport. Will come via Brisbane though and give myself enough time to complete the series. Loved this multi, lots of work but very interesting bit of history. Wish I had the kids with me. Took the clues so will start working on the puzzle when I h ave a few more. TFTC
Our first multi of the trip and it produced a few dramas along the way.
We had to read the clues off the GPS's which was tricky in the bright sun and then finding all the plaques too quite a bit of time. Once done we completely forgot the offset so it took a while to discover that. Once corrected the clue made perfect sense so thanks for that.
Thanks to thefourbees

# 803. I think this cache has definitely been my favourite spot visited on our caching run today. I do confess I do not particularly like multis, especially when I don't have them printed out. Luckily there were 3 of us trying to track down the answers and we all managed to find different clues. I really liked the way this area has been developed and the historical snippets in the pavement are wonderful. We headed off to GZ and after finding no logical hiding spot we re-read the notes and realised some adjustments were required. Then we were able to locate GZ much more quickly and easily. This one gets a favourite from me. Thanks thefourbees.
Grabbed this one while having a coffee break during driving lessons. The Cirque du Soleil Ova was set up next door would be a lovely place for so crazy acrobatics, but alas another time.

What a surprise. Got to Coords and then realised where we needed to look for the answers - another surprise. Fortunately we had been at the Cloudland dance hall earlier so our foot work was right up to scratch. Answers found, GZ determined and a walk to the cache. Everything good except thousands of ants love the area and our flesh!.
This is now one of my fav caches! Lots of history and interesting reading. A really clever hide...the clue is too easy though!
Thanks for this Cache!
Thanks for this Cache!
This cache is only a 10 minute walk from my work. So it is surprising that it has taken me three months since discovering caching to convert the smilie.
I often bring my kids down here with their bikes and the footy and let them crawl all over the sculptures on the beach and roll down all the landscaped mounds. Its a great park, not well known by the masses.
After a long working day, I wandered down last night and collected all the clues in the dark. Plugged in the coordinates and toddled off to GZ. After five minutes searching at GZ without sucess, I resorted to the hint, which made absolutely no sense at all. It was then that I realised that I had forgottento apply the necessary offset. Well the excuse I'm sticking to for this crooked moment is that it was a long day at work!
Offset applied and the clue matches the new GZ. However, I only had time for a cursory search. Nothing found in the first 60 seconds, so I called it a night. Returned today in my lunch break, verified the clues and coordinates, and returned to last nights GZ.
Depending on which end you stand and whether you count from the top or bottom, the feature you should search will change.
Of course, the second law of geocaching says that if faced with options for a search, the cache will always be found in the last option, only after you have searched all others. The first law of geaocaching says the cache will always be found in the last place you search. These two laws applied to my find today.
Clue duly noted. Signed log. TFTC Fourbees.

Originally solved the co-ordinates for this cache on the 13th January, 2011.
After a lengthy deactivation, we have finally been able to turn this cache into a Found!
Once we arrived at the updated GZ, the hint became useful, and understood. A clever hiding spot, in plain sight. The cache and contents were in good condition.

I solved all the answers some time ago, even though I knew the cache was disabled. Seen about a week ago it was up and running again and decided to change this one into a smiley. Pulled the printout out of the folder and headed off with the offset in hand, but of course forgot the most important bit of info...the new hint. After searching for some time, geowife accessed the page from her phone where we found the hint. Deciphered, we started our search again, and yes the co-ords are spot on depending on which way you're looking for the "Right"

I found all but 1 of the answers and thought that would be enough but no luck.

Re-checked our numbers and searched for about the fourth time today, but another DNF. It was an odd but pleasant coincidence to read the owners check and confirm that we weren't suffering from cache blindness.

Had a hunt for this again as it was recently replaced. Must admit to not spending too much time searching. Did spend 10 mins rummaging around the GZ that I had come up with. ;-(
Can't believe it was September 2009 since we were here! Of course we left it too long and the cache was disabled for a while but today was finally the day to get this one now it's back online. Luckily the clues hadn't changed and we remembered where the final hiding spot was. Although it took a thorough search before it revealed itself! The vegetation has certainly grown a lot and the area is nice and secluded now. Left a geocoin to continue its journey. Thanks thefourbees
New cache in place. There flora has grown around GZ so maybe bit easier to retrieve without being seen by bbq-ers
Tried for this one with La Kedi (see her log). Thoroughly enjoyed walking around reading the history and of course stopping for a Chai Latte. A most enjoyable morning's outing despite the DNF.
Spent an enjoyable morning collecting the clues - what an interesting location! Then we sipped chai latte while we did the calculations, and strolled off toward GZ. Coords took us to a likely spot, but no luck finding the cache itself. Called a friend to check we hadn't stuffed up the calculations somehow, and had GZ confirmed, so tried again but still no success. I did have to claim I was looking for lizards when a young muggle came scrambling around the corner. He was fine with that - he was searching for dinosaur eggs, himself. Hope the cache is safe and wasn't washed away in the floods. Thanks anyway!
Today was a beautiful day for wandering along the riverside. I must have looked a bit strange to all the lunch patrons at the cafe but there was a cache to be found and they weren't going to stop me. I found the co-ords to be pretty spot on. I think the previous finder had longer arms than me but I didn't give up and soon had cache in hand. Took Beijing Coin and left Jeep Adventure Bug.

Well after five visits to the cafe for breakfast and three rechecks of the coords coming back to the same location each time and many a fruitless search I have finally done it. I went back through all the logs and see that a common thread was to "widen" the search just a bit. Well widen my search I did and kachinka, there it was. A bit of a commando crawl and the pesky cache was in hand. I have dropped a "Beijing Observatory" coin for my troubles. TFTC.
Third chop at the title and still no luck. Have checked the questions and have the right answers. I see no one has found this for a bit. Perhaps a check by the owner is needed.
I came by here about a month ago to collect the required info, but the numbers I got our didn't take me to GZ, I tried several other places that I thought the cache may be, but with no luck. At home I rechecked the coordinates I ran them by TheFourBees to confirm, and thankfully they corrected my slight miscalculations . When there are too many numbers I do have a bit of trouble . Today while there was a wedding on and other visiters here, I was glad that geoson provided a distraction so I could find the cache without suspicion. When found I could't believe it , as this was one of the places I look at when (greatly) expanding the search are with the wrong coordinates, catn't believe I missed it last time . With geoson as cover I was able to grab the cache, sign the log, grab my clues and replace without anyone taking any notice, 4 year olds are like a invisibility cloak .
After finding the cache we had a great time playing on the beach and playground, as well as a sticky peek at the wedding party .
Thanks for the help and of course the cache

Attempted this one on my lunchbreak. Stood around staring at the ground in front of the entire restaurant but I did not really care. Made some calculations and off I trotted. Found a very likely area and started the search (thankfully it was quite muggleless). Came up empty handed after a 10 minute search. Went back to the car and had a think about it. Decided to have one more look and came up with success this time This was a good little hide and an enjoyable little cache. TFTC Thefourbees

Thanks a lot for this one ! I past the information boards without seeing them and headed straight for the other side of the park before coming back !

Found with Alkzura and our geobaby trundling around in the stroller. We had a lovely time finding clues and then came the mathematical bit, which Alkzura was in charge of. Usually he's actually very good with numbers, today when I found myself standing in the middle of some tarmac I told him to redo the numbers. Then off to the actual GZ and we divided up the search. Apparently my beloved was having an off day because he totally missed the cache the first time he looked right at it. Finally we got to sign the log and head off but not before Alkzura got to run up and down the rolling hills while the baby giggled in the stroller. TFTC
Thanks for this cache, fourbees - NyletaM and I had a great time with this one.
Immediately, on arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the park itself - a lot of work has been put into this one, and the result is impressive.
We ventured out to find all the information required to pinpoint the cache location.
After finding the starting point, we wandered round and round in circles gathering information.
Then after some astoundingly quick calculations by yours truly, we trekked off to the requied gps coordinates, which put us quite obviously in the wrong location.
Seems in my haste in calculating the final location, I had also rewritten some basic mathematical rules of addition with single digit numbers.
Luckily though, the information had been recorded, and the calculations were performed correctly this time.
We reached the GZ, and looked in the obvious spot for the cache, but couldn't locate, so expanded the search, eventually I had a second look in the obvious location
and the cache was in hand (the fact I overlooked it the first time is obviously due to the excellent work done by the owner with the camo of the container - it just blended right in )

Oh My Gosh what a lovely area. Beautiful food in the cafe and great even if you bought a picnic. This is also the first time that Straddie Heaven and I have gotten a puzzle cache together. And we really enjoyed reading all the info as well. Thanks for showing us a great spot.
Found today with Dannza and really enjoyed this cache. It is in a lovely location that we would never had found (as we are southsiders) without the cache. Had the best lunch and watched the Sunday sailors in little wooden skiffs on the river. Lots of people but the place did not have that crowded feel. Enjoyed the puzzles and then the find. Overall I would give this one a 10 out of 10! Thanks for the cache. This one topped off a great day! TN left RSC TB
