I came here with my 2 sons after the eldest's soccer match nearby. There was a wedding party nearby, and a few people mingling in this lovely spot on a lovely day, but children are a form of camo. We followed the instructions, but couldn't find a container; there has been some extensive gardening work recently, but hopefully it was just poor searching on my part. We'll be back!
Took a while to find the name in the dark and also the cache... hehe

Heading into the city this afternoon I had a few hours spare so opted to do a few caches around where I was spending the night. Parked centrally and did a loop walk around the streets.
My last find for the day and a bit of an epic one. Got the infor from WP1 and was soon heading to a likely spot but the beautiful day had menat that muggles spoilt my adventure. I returned just after dark to find still muggles at GZ, finally at 10pm I could get to GZ and put my name in the tin.
Thanks

The last time I was here was in the seventies visiting my children and there mother after their birth. In those days mums and bubs were transferred from Crown Street Hospital to Canonbury to recuperate. Great memories and thanks for taking me back here bonaccordians.
Took a slight diversion from my usual route home from work today, after a morning shift, to pick up a few caches around Rushcutters Bay and Double Bay, in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This was the 4th of 5 finds for the afternoon.
After a quick find down the road at St Marks church, I next stopped off at the posted coords for this one. Quickly spotted the inscription I was seeking and, after a few calculations, headed off to the final GZ location.
Arrived at "the fort" and took a few photos, then went in pursuit of the cache. And after a short rummage I soon spotted the "tinny" box hiding in a shady spot, and it was CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
Thanks bonaccordians for the nice personal back story, and for the cache. Overall worthy of a Favourite point from us.

An afternoon caching in the Eastern Suburbs mean gazing at multi million dollar homes, expensive yachts and enjoying tranquil and well maintained neighbourhoods.
The puzzle was solved at home and today I drove up to the final. A gorgeous point and today in the park a wedding ceremony was held. The happy couple even hired some people operating two drones so the wedding and the location could also be filmed from above.
So, while the drones where whirring above my head I crawled my way to the cache.
Thanks bonaccordians!

Gee, the concrete is starting to age and it was difficult to read the name with the concrete being wet. I felt it more than saw it, actually. A great little spot for the GZ, after following the instructions to find it, I had cache in hand within a few minutes. Dropped a TB. TFTC
A personal milestone was achieved today, so celebrating it the only way I know
Had the coordinates ready in May, but took the caching party on a different route instead. Worked out nicely. With the phone torch ready and some prompting from raindoctor, i crawled to the cache with ease, opening it however was a whole other challenge. Guess i can only blame the last cacher
Spent about 10 - 15 mins just soaking in the view, not too shabby! Thanks bonaccordians for sharing the special memories and this top spot!

So decided to go for a walk this afternoon. Wanting some exercise I ran up Loftus Rd. Well I ran up half way and died. So from then on it was a lazy stroll to the cache (I hid behind the nearby electrical box to do the maths on my hand) and a lazy stroll down to wow - what a beautiful park! I spent a bit of time exploring the park. Stumbled upon a coupling couple on a couples picnic rug and decided that was enough exploring. Thanks for bringing me here. What a hidden gem of a spot!
Found with morry9. I had to run an errand in Edgecliff, and morry9 was available to accompany me and attempt a few caches while we were out. While waiting for the office to return from their lunch break, I went across the road to find 'The Edgecliff Angel' Traditional Cache. It was a quick find but I inadvertently knocked it over the edge (literally) and it fell to the ground of the level below. I walked around to collect it and thankfully, its robust construction meant the cache was unharmed in the little mishap, phew! I walked back up to perform the signing duties and return the cache to its hiding spot. Once the errand had been run and was out of the way, morry9 and I went to 'The Bells of St. Marks' for a quick park and grab. There was a neighbouring pooch who appeared very lonely and was watching me intently underneath the fence (see attached photo). We moved onto the 'Lost Boy' Multi Cache next and we located the clue to work out the final resting place of the cache. Many a time, while out geocaching, both morry9 and I have felt like lost boys! We then popped down to 'Grotty Yachtie: CYC' for a relatively quick find, followed by a Did Not Find at 'Sailing with Ben', although we did not have a good opportunity to conduct a thorough search with all of the muggles out and about. As a final hunt for the afternoon, we walked over to the other side of Rushcutters Bay Park to make contact with some alien lifeforms at 'Take us to your Leader'. Not the hide we were thinking of, so it took us longer than it should have, but one we have seen before. Nevertheless, it was good to finish up with another find under our belts. Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners!
Met JordsAu and zo zo for lunchin chatswood. Then JordsAu and myself decided to do some caching in the east. A cold Thursday nice view of Sydney Harbour . Thanks for the cache. Did take too long.
Every now and then you do a cache that puts a big smile on your face. The story behind this one did just that. I was transported back to another time and imagined the glee the little lost boy had inscribing his name. We are surprised that it is still here to find after all of these years. We imagine the neighbourhood was quite different then. Off to Gz where after a short search we made the find. I'm giving this a favourite for the nostalgia factor. Thanks for the hide.
#699 found this one it took awhile to find the first GZ had a hard time getting reception so walked past the spot I needed a couple of times but spotted it in the end. Got the information required. Then off to GZ counted the required number and spotted the cache. Signed the log and replaced as found. Neither of the 2 TBs are in there. Thanks for the cache bonaccordians
Thanks Bonaccordians or should I say _ _ _ _ _ _ _, for the cache. One of two of yours today, great story of your childhood

I found this one while out and about on a walk this morning. Nice one. Cheers and TFTC
A nice multi to do while staying for a few days at Darling Point. Thanks for the placement, bonaccordians. Walking through the streets with their delightfully enormous trees was quite an experience - the type of which makes geocaching such a tremendous pleasure. Final cache was a bit of a surprise. We almost ended up in the private (but open to the public) gardens next door!

Found whilst holidaying in Sydney from albany wa thanx for showing me around your old hood. TFTC
Found the lost boy a few weeks ago, but only got back to find the cache today.
Found it while retrieving an unpublished cache of mine down at the pond with the dragon. Found it sitting by itself under the tree but put it in a more appropriate spot. Great park, definitely cacheworthy, Tftc
Woohoo! First Multi!
I forgot my pen, photo evidence of log attached.
Back to work for a nice cup of tea!

Went to find this one today but there was a muggle sunning himself very close to GZ. We'll be back...
Great hide it took us a second attempt to find it. Thanks from an nine year old boy!
found where the hint says it should be, but it is quite visible from the right angle. tftc
Finally managed to knock this one off the DNF list! Sadly when we got to GZ the cache was sitting out in the open on the grass, with the lid off, the contents splayed around, and the log book missing We put a bit of scrap paper in for the time being, and replaced the cache according to the hint. Had a lovely sit in the sun for a bit before heading off for the other caches closer towards the main road. TFTC BC!
Came by in the dark for the bench and the gardens, ended up dropping off some trackables that I've had for long enough.
Cache is well stocked with several food-related (but not animal-attracting) swaps, haha!

The sun was shining and the writing was too faint to read so I used a trick that I learned whilst searching for aboriginal carvings in the national parks. I grabbed my water bottle from the car and poured some water on the writing which became clearly legible.
Great GZ. Another Sydney gem that I never would have known about if it weren't for geocaching.
The story behind the cache is very sweet and you had a lot of foresight to graffiti your name in the concrete all those years ago so you could create a great multi . Thanks bonaccordians. The cache is in good shape. Found at 1:38 pm.

So it's raining.. So what. Today's the day when finally GZ is not populated with stoners sharing joints enjoying the view. So down I go...in there...over there.. Hands and knees..now where would I hide a treasure......now let me see....huzzah!!!
So I took a little treasure and left a little girlish treasure. TFTC and the adventure.

bigger tin, more goodies, less visible, even closer to fixture mentioned in hint.
Have added it to my watchlist. Was down at GZ (confirmed by the CO) with mandalf a few days ago but am not 100% sure we looked properly at the correct spot.

on this sunny very humid day, it is once more vaucluse day and a bit further off i strolled, had 1 more hour time for myself and thought, yip this is the tie to try this one.
i have to admit that the spoiler picture helped me alot! the name itself is hardly visible (for me short sighted person without any glasses....
found GZ and had no problems to sign though its busy here with some works going on.
thanks for your story and

Beautiful morning with no muggles. Great park to relax and post. Cute story. Nice walk from Wp1. A couple of workers close to GZ but the cover made it easy to collect the cache and sit on a nearby bench to do the signing duties. TFTC TNLN
How did i miss seeing this cache as it sat in the open with such a natural look! It didnt look out of place at all! Had trouble opening the cache but logbook is intact! What a beautiful view from gz

02:45 An interesting search in the dark, the police drove by WP1... twice! Thankfully I had a broomstick with me so it was not too difficult in the end.
Cache interior is dry, despite the exterior, which is starting to blend in well... There's a working pencil and the logsheets were also fine.
Did not see El Guitarrista (TB18TWY) in this cache.

Looked here and there but couldn't spot the concrete graffiti but did spot something so faint it was hard to read. Looked at photos to assist me. I was looking at the wrong graffiti, so sat down at the bus stop seat across the street to do the maths.
Drove down to GZ, read hint and counted the poles, and had CIH quickly afterwards.
Thanks for a neat multi that sitting at GZ gives you a great view.

The calculations were made and we arrived at a likely looking place soon after. While I searched, our little old foxie, who cannot walk much now, fell over and rolled down the hill but was stopped before the drop. I dragged my self into some places I didn't need to go before finding the container hidden under cover. Thanks to bonaccordians for a good multi, we really liked the final location.
With Snickersallan. Didn't need to beat the bush. Area slippery due to rain. Cache a little hard to open but hardly any gems inside. SL TNLN TFTH TFTC. High muggle area despite the weather as there was a wedding party nearby. Thanks for bringing me to this nice area.
Found with Mystic Seer and helpful clues from previous cachers. Pretty location and watched the wedding party get their pics taken down by the water, TFTC
This cache has been a while in the finding! I originally trekked up to GZ a couple of months ago to look for the name in the concrete but was unable to find it, there was a car parked in the driveway and neighbours across the street working in their front garden were getting suspicious so I didn't hang around.
I resorted to obtaining a long list of common names from the Internet, filtering all 7-letter boy names (assumed the CO was male!) and from a short-list I calculated a few coordinates until I found a name that produced a plausible GZ. It wasn't until after all this work that I discovered the spoiler image in the gallery, doh!
Having an opportunity to head out to GZ today on a cool cloudy morning, there were very few muggles about (mainly parents / grandparents with prams) so the search was not too difficult. Reading through previous logs I expected this cache to give me a challenge, and with the hint and advice from CO about using the "whacking method" to uncover the cache, I spent a fruitless 10 minutes whacking without success.
I was just about to give up, log a DNF and contact the CO for assistance when I decided to try my luck and have a quick look on the other side of the fence, which turned out to be the right side and I had CIH within seconds! I had difficulty opening the container, which was well hidden but slightly exposed. Signed log and replaced the cache as found with some additional camo cover to ensure it's hidden away from muggles.
Thanks for the cache bonaccordians, really enjoyed the story behind it, a favourite for me!

Visited the first waypoint to find the name in the cement and struggled a little to see exactly what it was but got confirmation from previous logs. Finally found the prize after my third visit to GZ. Needed some help from CO and eventually found it after following CO's "whacking Day" method with a stick. When I heard the 'boink' I was thoroughly relieved. The tin has rusted somewhat and the little critters underneath were unimpressed I had disturbed them. Really enjoyed the story behind this one and the great hide. TFTC bonaccordians!
name in concrete - visible , cache container - nominal .... all ok .... cache is feeling neglected.. awww
.. it can wait..
.. it can wait..
Arrived at GZ to find a car parked quite possibly over the name scratched into the concrete. Had a brief look around but there were plenty of muggles about in houses across the street so I didn't want to arouse suspicion in this rather quiet neighbourhood. Not sure when I'll be back in the area but would love to complete this intriguing cache someday.
29/04/13 8:10 AM. Cache #583. Current streak: 232 days. Finally!! I'd solved the riddle of the name last year and had been to the final gz about 3 times, either being muggled out or just coming up empty handed, so I resorted to an email to the CO for help. Arrived today and followed the clear instructions but I was still having difficulty. When I did eventually find it, I learnt that I had had the right coords all along but just hadn't scraped enough all those other times. D'oh! TFTC, bons, and for the lovely spot, the great back story and for helping me out here's a fave point.
Well I needed help from CO on this one. Not because it is too hard, it is actually just right!! My fourth visit found me to be too frustrated to actually look properly - I must have been inches away on at least two occasions!! That's geocaching for you..... TN, Left some stamps, a 1980's Australian international $1.05 and four from Lebanon, not sure of the date but maybe 60's or 70's - might be nice for the geokids to get into stamp collecting (and geocaching!!). Many thanks for the cache bonaccordians - gets a favourite from me... a good one........
Ummm. Third visit. First was a total fail (went back and sat at the desk and realised that simple maths on the move might not be my forte). Second and third - I think I am close, but no banana. I shall swallow my pride and ask for a clue in a separate email (no spoilers from me!!)

1804. Grabbed this one on a morning walk while visiting the old man at St Vincents Hospital. I used the spoiler photo but I also found a "William" in some concrete nearby. I arrived at GZ (nice spot) and searched or a while before finding the container using the suggested method. TFTC.
Took me two visits to find the cache. Very sneaky hide indeed and old school container. Like it.

new logbook and swaps in multiple layers of ziplock bags. Original still there but dampish. Rusted tin makes camo more effective... I suggest the 'whack it with a stick' method as you'll hear it long before you see it.
Checked the other day. Cache box in position but logbook is wet. will replace soon but it's there if anyone
has their sights on this cache in the next few days and just HAS to find it. standby.

15/02/13 2:35 PM. Came here on 30 Nov; same day Calypso62 found it. I found the name after a 10 min search and punched in the coords. Same photographer muggle described in C62's log was there, but unlike C62 I was put off the idea of searching in the muggle's presence so called it off.
Forward to today, and after finding bons' other cache Sailing with Ben, thought I'd give this another try. No muggles around until late in my 20 min search, but I still couldn't find it. Many have found it since 30 Nov so I doubt it's been muggled, I'm just missing it, and out of time.

Had a stroll around Darling Point this morning while my daughter was at a choir rehearsal nearby. This was the third for the morning. Enjoyed the GZ location - even had time to read my book for a while. Thanks.
Cute idea for a cache. It did take a little cocking of the head and circling GZ to see the name, but I found it and figured out the final location without difficulty. There were a couple of young women at water's edge, but they didn't pay much attention to me as I crashed around looking for the final. Simple but effective camouflage--is that left over from the Secret Harbour Fortress supplies?!
I came in on the ferry and picked up the caches around Double Bay while walking back to Circular Quay. No parking problems, but it seemed like a longer walk than I had planned. TFTC, of course!

Travelling through the Eastern Suburbs on a mission to find my next clue for GCVVPB - World Cache. While over this way, a few cache finds were in order. I almost gave up on this one on two fronts. It was nigh on impossible to find a parking spot at WP1. When I did find one, I should have left the car there and walked to GZ as that was another impossibility. I persevered on both fronts for about 15 minutes each and was rewarded with a cache find. I thought I would have GZ to myself but a young bloke was at the water's edge taking photographs. Luckily, I could retrieve and replace the cache as he was more interested in his camera than me. Thanks bonaccordians for the great bit of history here.

Stopped by after finding the nearby "amaze" cache, but sadly couldn't find the name in the concrete at WP1 ...maybe I need glasses =( Will come back on a sunnier day, maybe that will help with visibility!
Nice little multi. To add to the excitement it was council cleanup so TLM Mum had a great time checking out all the discarded offerings around the area. WP1 would have to be right opposite a nice rustic display cabinet that we could use I don't know where. After a few measurements we realised it wouldn't fit in the car.
Off to GZ. As we got close there was a couple sitting right nearby. I was thinking we can't do this and then they got up and left when we were about 20m away. That made the search easy. Cache soon located. Interesting container, what was it before its new life?

I was enjoying a beautiful winter's day in Sydney, when I went hunting for this one by bicycle.
Not knowing exactly where I was going I rode up and around a few hills trying to locate the quickest way to this cache.
Once there the next clue was located and then the final resting place was found.
What a superb location and I can imagine the fun times you had here as a kid.

What a novel way to conceal the co'ords. The gardens with their fascinating history were just delightful. There was no sign of the guitar playing TB which is mentioned on the cache page. Favorite points for the novel multi and the final location.

I found myself in this area looking for part of a multi and decided to do a few other cache at the same time. And I am glad I did as this was a fun one. The name is still legible - must have been quite an imprint when first signed. I ventured of to the raft launching site. This reminded me of the stuff I was doing 40 years ago as well. I initially dismissed the container - original! It was covered with ants but when I shook them off more appeared from within. Then I shook more off but they were immediately replaced as well. Eventually I prised the lid off to find millions of the little critters. After about 5 minutes I had removed them all and signed the log. But I had to put the cache back in position so don't be surprised if they all move back in! TFTC
Enzo jumped out and ran for the clue while zita stayed dryish in the car. We worked out a new set of coords which seemed likely so set off. Luckily it was deserted because of the weather and we parked very close to our GZ. The GPS did not match the hint (hey - you gotta use the hint in the pouring rain ) so we both took an option and Enzo came up with it before too long. We have never seen this type of container being used for a cache before. Cool. TNLNSL TFTC!!
Got the name at WP1 and calculated the final coords. That led me to an area with great views.

Came out for a drive today needing a find amoungst other things and parked at WP1. Got out and once the GPSr settled, found the info I needed. Barely able to read it, but could make out what it should say. Did my calculations and then got back in the car and drove to GZ. Parked close by and walked towards the water. Went for the hint and it lead me straight to the cache. Funny how this one remains hidden from muggles . I SL, TNLN and replaced. Nice little area and view of the water and city. Thanx bonaccordians, TFTC.

Came here a while ago but muggle activity prevented a find. Had a birthday Party on the park nearby today so arrived a bit early and grabbed the cache. Great container. Great cache. TFTC
Did not find when searching in the dark with no torch - came back in daylight the next day and located cache easily. Thanks for an interesting cache. Travel bug nowhere to be seen so I think must be MIA perhaps It needs to be placed on the missing bug's register??

Thanks for a great cache in a nice location, with a good story oh - and my first multi!

Favorite! Could not read the name at first but then remembered the name was a boys, so guessed at it and was right. Coords were right on. Great childhood memories! Took pincher grabbers and left carabiner and UAL childrens wings.
Lost boy found quikly but then I calculation wrong the GC-coords. The second coords going to correct point. Thanks. J-LEST-TEAM
And yes, today the lost boy was me!!!!
Really interesting Multi! It was lucky it wasn't raining today so it made a great find:)

hA. GOT IT THIS TIME. Base dmy whole day on getting over here to catch the 4:51 ferry and got it. my calculations were slightly off last time but were fixed now. although the find still took a good 15min. coords were a bit off (tree cover i guess) and the cache didn't look like a cache. infact, i even remember seeing it here last time too! frustrating. oh weel certainly was nice to visit the nice little park down here again. no tb's in it now like ther was when i first attempted this cache TFTC!!!
The concrete is dry after 40 years and I found it quite difficult to read the letters. Neverthelles finally deciphered it. Cache was than found fast at GZ. TFTC
did everything. found out what the name was (being at a fading aborigonal carvings rock recently helped a bit). went down to the little park but thought it waws private land. looked for a good 25min but found out that one of my more critical numbers i had miscalculated when sitting on the train on the way back. oh well will be quite pleased to come back here soon, but i did find an eclipse tin in my searches (now safely in the caching shelf at home). thanks for this anyway.
Found waypoint 1 straight away. GZ was a bit trickier, particularly because it was a wet day. TFTC
Lovely walk around this amazing area of Sydney. Do people really live in those huge mansions?!
Dropped in a few bits and pieces as well as GC/Four Corners.
Thanks for the hide.

#384 I had a bit of trouble finding the name in WP1. It's almost "Lost" from weathering and time. WP2 was a delightful surprise. The view from here is amazing. I initially went all the way down close to the water on the other side, then I realized I'm on the wrong side. Just when I was about to start searching a couple arrived and decided to sip their coffee on the bench. I don't blame them. It's just so nice to sit there and watch sailboats and ferries... and a submarine. Yep, there was a submarine (see pic) in the harbor. So I decided to walk about the adjacent park. What a hidden gem! It was so peaceful there... a secret garden. There were some fishos on the eastern end of the park. After some strolling I decided to check out GZ again. The couple was just leaving when I got there, then I realized I was too close to the water and went back up. As I already had an idea what the cache might be from a previous note by the CO, I was able to spot the cache quite quickly. Thanks for taking me here. TFTC!
Number 4 of 22 today. I decided walk from the city to Watson's bay, walking around the bays on the way. A longer walk than I anticipated, so walked the return leg via Bondi.
The final was a bit ticky to find the GPS was pointing me in the right direction but it was a bit buried.
Lid still hard to remove even with the owner maintenence, not impossible though. WP1 took two passes, a nice personal touch though.

After reading the lid was hard to remove, decided to remedy this with a quick
thin layer of vaseline around the lip. Good old steel... the tin is doing well otherwise... a rusty blue colour now... helps with the camo. Should be ok now.

Took us a while to find the first part, and the couldn't figure out a way down to the water - may try again one day now we have the coords.
Very clever multi. When we got to the final location we looked at the cache but left it untouched as we thought it was rubbish. Only when one of the geokiddies flipped it and we saw the geocache sticker did we realise we had the real deal. Also the cache was extremely hard to open but got it in the end. TFTC
Came here for a second time and so it was a quick find.
It was raining hardly and no one was arround, so I had enough time to grab it, pic something out and leave something instead.
Thank you so much for this, I realy enjoyed it!

I guess I have to come back for this one.
I searched the whole area but didn't see any name.

Did the first part two weeks ago but when I got to GZ, council workers everywhere pretending to be working. Came back today and nobody. TFTC TNLN.
It was difficult for me to find the letters, but the second Part was done in a few minutes. TNLN, TFTC, nice hide
a quick check while riding by.... I sat on the grass and could actually spot it winking at me.... a quick readjustment and all is as it should be...
DNF'ed this last time when the cache was awol, so with a replacement up in order and with us being around the locale, we decided to return to claim a smiley. Took us about 5 m,inutes before something caught our eye and sure enough we had our smiley. TFTC, great views
