Great first glimpse. The cache is very wet, and needs maintenance. It was out in the open. Have dried it off and replaced where we thought it might have been, but could be out of its proper place.
Second time round. Tftc

Our first Otago cache. Visiting friends across the road. Left a path tag. TFTC
Tftc looking for slim green bottle pretty open compared to other caches - cachebrowns
Found with Chosen1978 on Day trip to Dunedin. Weather packed in could only get a glimpse today
This time we found it, well hidden.
We also know the lady mowing the lawns per the earlier log entry from another user....

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are currently on holiday in Southland, visiting from Auckland, together with HOLE-IN-ONE2, who is visiting from the UK. Today we decided to tackle a challenge we have been meaning to do for a while and with a big drive planned today thought it would be a good chance to complete it, 50 caches in one day, each cache at least 1km apart from all the others! A quick scramble up the bank and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC

Visiting phasevisitor from the UK PV doing 50 cache at least 1km apart challenge today. Scramble up the bank and a jump back down TFTC
Found a couple of white missiles hidden here too and returned them to the fairway to confound and confuse the walkers. Quick find TFTC
Stopped to find this one, when lady directly across the road decided to mow her lawns. Carried on to find another in the area and called past on our way back to grab this as the lawns looked nicely mowed. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Just as we were putting this one back, the lady directly across the road who had mowed her lawns earlier came back to clean the car. Found with debsnz
Heading back in the direction of the airport in a round about kind of way, and happened to come along here. Had driven up to the castle before arriving here, but the weather was too bad to get out and explore. However by the time we got here (approx 5mins down the road) the sun was back out, and it was quite pleasant! Took a bit of wander up and down the road to find the right spot, but eventually came up with the right location and the cache was soon signed. TFTC
We were slowly headed in the direction of the airport but decided another cache wouldn't hurt. Swung by here and did a few walks up and down waiting for a decent hit on the GPS and then went in for the find. Found reasonably quickly and managed to avoid the showers as well. TFTC
Nice quick find on the way past as three of us ran up the hill to get the log book.
Just starting to search when a local came up wanting to know why so many people had been in the hedge for the last couple of days. Scavenger hunted worked as it looked like he didn't know what a computer might be let alone GPS.
Found after looking at the cache near the castle. GPS wanted us a little bit further from the castle than where I found the cache, but it didn't take too long. No floggers on the nearby flog course at the time either. Thanks us04.
Not overly impressed with the location of the cache. Found it just lying on the ground. Great views of the castle from here though. Did with Mycro Man on our NZ MEGA 2012 South Island Trip
Gone? no - we found it ok! Found with BKJ97, during the Mega. I didn't have this in my GPSr as I exclude disabled caches, but luckily BKJ hadn't.
Cache in good order, although the log could use replacing - full. Also, the cache is a bad one - standard narrow necked bottle making anything inthe cache very hard to remove (although the log came up to the lid so was easy, but extracting the cache note would be a right bugger)

Found it on our way down the hill for lunch!!! Didn't get hit by any white balls!!
Lots of neighbourly muggles about, in spite of the dodgy weather. A quick find on my Dunedin caching trip. TFTC
I originally found this as part of the dakotacats team but I have my own username now so I am re-logging as whiskasnz. TFTC
04/May/2012 : The castle looks great from this view. Found the cache quickly, also found a golf ball. Signed the log and took the golf ball! TFTC

15/04/2012 #58 Nice quick park and grab, found straight away, no muggles around. SL, TFTC
Tried to find this today with a caching buddy who has found it before. Didn't seem to be able to find it at all!
Found this one towards the end of the weekend with mum.
Had just showed her another neat castle type thing, this one still being more 'alive', when she said, oh, I know of another one, and there is a cache nearby!
So off we went! ANd it was spotted so easily, and soon! I'm not sure that's where it's meant to be? Maybe it needs a bit more cover or something, as now it's probably at great muggle risk. But then again, I don't know why anyone would go there!
So signed the log, and off we were to try and get a bit of a better look at the castle, and all the super fancy houses! Wow, fancy suburb much?? SHame the castle is so run down though. Fully reckon they should do it up ... though it would be more than just a 'do up' more like a whole reconstruction!
TFTC!!

quickly spotted by sonia26642 who was keen to see some old houses... I am sure this qualifies! TFTC!!
Found for Mr T.E.F as part of his Advent challenge after some beauty treatments at Spa St Clair
Unfortunately had been muggled, which I was slightly thankful for (it meant my freshly manicured toes weren't destroyed!) but will email owner with where I relocated cache to so that they can replace it as it should be. Everything was still in tact but the log book has been defaced with some unsavoury language.
Thanks for the Cache us04!
