As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Disabled until I can replace, or find where it has been re hidden - about 10m away from GZ it seems.
After getting up and down for a while as the hint suggested, I looked a little further, and saw the cache very open about 10 metres away. Yay the cache has space for toys.
GPS coords a bit out but found it when we expanded the search area by about 20m. Lovely spot. TFTC
We had to widen our search as the coords were off. It was in the open so we replaced it in a better spot.
A little bit of a search and I've got the first for today, on track for my 200th later today! ... And a beautiful spot to boot #191
A quick find while we were in the area before meeting KiwifruitsNZ to grab some caches. No one about at GZ today, so it made for a straightforward find. Thanks for the hide!
A beautiful day so had to wait for the muggle a to disappear before we found it...Tftc
Tftc. Was almost muggled by a runner so had to pick cache and walk a short distance away before returning it.
Had to come across to the Shore to drop Miss NZT off and we also needed to find a puzzle cache nearby.
Keyev also required the puzzle so we make a trip of it.
Noticed that we had to walk right past this cache on the way to our puzzle so thought why not.
Initially Keylev and Mrs NZT had us looking in the wrong place. Mr NZT trusted his GPS and walked to where it indicated GZ to be. Looked down and HEY there it was.
A quick easy find eventfully....

Mr Keylev arranged for me to get out of the house with NZTravellers on a little trip this evening (think he just wanted some peace and quiet). We stopped along here to collect a couple of the caches but will have to be back for the rest it looks like a very cool little track.
We initially started looking in completely the wrong spot before Mr NZT repositioned himself and made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice look out! - dropped a TB and covered the cache a lil more with foliage, was easily visible from the side...
#284 Lovely wetlands walk - if it's this nice in the winter I can imagine it must be very special in the summer...although I imagine it could have a lot more mosquitoes then. Nice to take a good walk with no bugs this time of year but still get flowers and great views. Thanks for bringing us here. This quick easy find at the start of the walk made up for some very tricky hides further along the path.
I parked near by and had to put the doggies back into the van. They did well to do half of this crater walk. I set out to do the second half of this walkway and found this cache easily and it is dry. TFTC
Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url]
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands [8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]
During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:
Chapter 29: [red]Dargaville[/red] to [blue]Auckland[/blue]
On our way to this mega city we were looking for some interesting caches in the suburbs
This cache was one of them
I would like to thank all the cache owners for showing us these great places and maintaining all these caches,

Lovely morning walk around part of Tuff Crater. Thanks for bringing us here. We drive past most days but have never visited. TB collected.

Usually it gets hard to find due to cache creep, but this time it's crept to far, for even me to find.
Found it after a bit of searching. We were just about to carry on when we spotted it.
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
This is taking a lot longer than I had planned. I guess its the quality of the hides which means more time has to be set aside for the finds. Having a great day of caching, thanks again for the hide.

Had a little searching until I found the right spot. After retrieving cache, muggles arrived on bikes. Tried to be stealthy as I wedged the cache under my arm. Signed log and returned to hiding place. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Interesting place, haven't been here before. This cache wasn't very tuff to find!
our #2995! Definitely déjà vu but found pretty quickly this time. Left gc. GINO TFTC
Unsuccessful on a previous visit but not so this time. After a little looking quickly had the cache in hand. TFTC
I'm still trying to get my head around why a tank farm would be placed here. Must have made sense at the time... Cheers for the cache.
Woop! Took a while but I got it. Relatively simple, really. Thanks, and great location.
Whoa! This seemed like deja-vu, as if I'd been here before. In fact I think I remember driving down here but there must have been some reason I didn't find the cache, whether it was muggles, new caches published, my headlamp being dead at night. I honestly don't remember!
Anyway spent a good time longer searching for this than it should have taken. As my phone battery died I returned to my car to grab my GPSr and then as the light failed I returned again to get my headlamp. Must have been third time lucky as I first found a hide of another location based game I won't name and then spotted the cache. Glanced at my GPSr and it was spot on - turns out it was out 5-10m consistently when I started searching ><
Thanks!

#6433. This was our second visit to the Tuff crater (on both occasions we were looking for puzzle caches). We passed this trad, so picked it up on our way past. This is an interesting area. TFTC.
We were heading south of the bridge today, so just time to pick up a few North Shore puzzles.
One of the few trads we pricked up, but as we were passing by, had to stop and have a look. An interesting spot. TFTC.

I am not much of a logwriter, so see renelms, and possibly Difools, log for details.

My second find of MEGA morning. Nomad must have had the same idea as me. Beautiful area, thanks!
First find of Auckland Mega trip. Nice quick find, however the darkness prevented appreciating the views. Salamat!!
Nice quick find between muggle cyclists and now time to head for the nearby event

Found after a quick search while I was in the area. Interesting history of the site. TFTC !
Wandered around the crater from the south. Easy find and a great view. Nice place to sit and sign the log to boot. Thanks to handyandyman for the improvised log. TFTC.
After a DNF about two years ago we were on a mission to clean this and aothers up and get a couple of new caches around the crater. Success as no DNF's but a sore head as banged it when heard the call of 'muggles' Successful find to add to the GIO license series we started on ANZAC day.
Cache in great order but log book is jammed. Tore off a piece of paper with finds we were hunting and wrote our caching name on this.

Well, found this guy, but didn't log it. Was part of our 1 a day mission over summer. Found late one night with Loz47.

After some eats at the Belgium Beer Cafe we thought we'd better head out and grab our daily cache - as this one was in the vicinity it was the lucky chosen one. Took us a little bit of a search but once we followed the coords to the closest point we had a look at bingo Thanks for the cool little hide - must come back in the daylight sometime to collect the rest of them in this area.
Ages ago I had to log a DNF, today I found the cache in 10 seconds flat - luck or .....
Glad to take this one from my DNF list.

Pracatan found this while out walking the dog, today was my turn, easy to spot, tftc
After one failed attempt and then found but log was full so went home, printed off new log sheet and replaced today. Found with JaronB.
No one on the walkway as I was looking. Very well placed, had to reach well in to make sure I replaced it as found. TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were in the area and made a quick detour to look for this cache, it took a small search to find the cache, but we managed to retrieve it and sign the log just before some muggles arrived at the look out. Thanks for the cache!
ps - we signed the last space on the log sheet, so it will need replacing (sorry we didn't have any log sheets on us.)

One we passed down, did take a first look....hmmm should be not that difficult but nope. So we went first for a walk down the path. When back took another look, and another look and after a third Good luck....there it was. Thanks for the cache. This spot deserves one!
Love the history of the area. Thanks for the lesson! Grabbed a few caches around the crater with the brothers and sisters. TFTC
Out and about with the Future Finder for a bit of a walk. Unfortunetly, it had started to rain down on us. Anyway, when I first came across this lookout, my cache sense started tingling; "I bet there is a cache here!". But after a quick look I moved on. Back at home my suspicions were proved correct. So, passing by today I decided I had unfinished business to attend to here. Even if it was raining and the GPSr was safe and sound at home and not with us. Luckily it was a quick find this time around in a spot I hadn't checked previously. Cheers for the cache placement!
Was about to search for this one when some muggles turned up in a car and decided to hang about on the lookout. So I moved on to the next one and came back 30 mins. later. Success!, muggles had moved on, so found it in the first place I looked.
