We had stopped to check out the information board. In doing so, I figured we might be in a good place for a cache. Pulled out the app... and sure enough, I was right. A nice quick find thanks to your hint. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its place all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC... and happy new years!
Cache was very visible with no cover. Replaced it and tried covering it better. Tftc
Avenging a dnf today after not finding this a few years ago, was great to be able to get it today TFTC
Out for a wander just before dark, very pleasant now that it has cooled down. TFTC
The area has been thoroughly cleaned up and the cache has gone. Have placed a mint tin on for the CO.
After an extensive search all we found was a small prince of pencil that leads us to think this o e may have been muggled.
We walked right past this one and cracked up laughing on the way back when we saw it. Bit cold today so we're nipping in and out of the car. Thanks for cache!
Long time visitor first time finder. We've been coming to Ranfurly to visit the Grandparents since well, forever! This was super obvious - saw it before we saw the hint so have re-hidden a bit better. Had a picnic lunch after in the lovely weather.

Staying at the NZMCA Park in town for a few days while exploring an area we've never been to before. Geopup Finn and I took a wander along the rail trail to find a couple of caches handy to town.

Had to think twice about the hint when the GPS read 0 mts, but then i spotted the likely hiding spot, and the cache was soon in hand.

On a trip south from Tauranga. Nice to collect smiles along the way. Cycling the OTR. Apologies for some previous logs where I forgot to change my log template. Enjoying the fab scenery around these parts. Met up with Dee+ME to cycle with as our muggle hubbies we’re more interested in other things lol.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at Ranfurly for a couple of days, exploring in & around the local area … we went for a bit of a walk today and we thought it would be rude not to check out these caches on the way … found this with no issues, log completed & cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,268 for us.
