Logs
Found today with SCAHPA. One of the caps was missing there was nothing in the cache. We placed a piece of paper in there for future logs but could require a maintenance check - TFTC
I was driving up to Clear Mountain today to find a particular cache, but I figured I may as well find a few others while I was driving past. This was a nice quick park and grab. A great camo container and cache is in great condition. Thanks for the cache Nastyrangey!
Willis007 and I decided to spend the day caching in this area. After doing some walking in the conservation park, finding seven caches, it was a few park and grabs on the way home including this one.Willis007 had already found this one but she kindly stopped for me to find it. Luckily it didnt take long - I love the way it is hidden - very clever. Log signed and replaced as found. Tftc
Last one for the day, a last minute decision since I was driving past collecting the catweazle series. I had a little lie down after a tough morning of writing my name on tiny bits of paper and found the cache right away. Great camo, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Out for a drive to find a few caches. The hint was very helpful. Quick find. Nice camouflage.
Nastyrangey I found your cache Bush Gate No.03 on 1/4/2023, 3:55 pm. This is my find 4924 and find # 28 today. Found it after a brief search. Very sneaky hide. No logbook. Placed a new log sheet in a snap lock bag. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Sandra took the geomonsters to the pictures this morning to see the Minions: The Rise of Gru, so I headed out to check out the caches over at Clear Mountain.
I needed the hint for this one as was well hidden and a little closer to the metal gate than my GPS had me initially searching.
Thanks!!

Quick find, GPS unreliable was jumping too much between 4m and 13m so looked for likely hides, which paid off. Glasses still intact. Thanks for the cache.
GPS was telling me crazy things. Told me that I was 33m from GZ, whereas I was about 4m. Walked around a bit, still it said 33m. So I did a bit of a re-set. Found easily then, in a likely location. Also found a pair of reading glasses. I've contacted the previous finder to see if the glasses are theirs. TFTC Nastyrangey
Needs some maintainence. I replaced the plastic bag with one I had, but it needs and new log book.
Stopped here to make a find while waiting for my daughter to finish tennis lessons nearby. Great hide and container. TFTC.
Clever hide, did enjoy and was a little surprised. The hint made perfect sense. Could not sign log as could not get it out of the container even after persisting with different sticks for a while. TFTC
I parked my car at the gate and wandered over towards GZ, I was wasn't sure what to expect, but at some point I turned around and spied something a little odd, I went over to investigate and sure enough, the cache was in hand. Great hide!

It’s a popular trailhead here with several people coming and going while I sat on the log and signed the…er…log. Thanks for the cache
We happened to be in the area visiting various studios on the first weekend of the Samford Art Trail 2021. Can highly recommend getting out and having a look at the quality of the local art. We spotted this one not too far away from our third gallery where we had just viewed some fantastic art pieces. We parked on the upward hill, didn't realise until we walked up that there is a spot right at the gate.
Looked around a bit with GPS moving around not getting closer than 10m. Inspected a couple of possible spots. No at the first one, bingo at the second.
We were impressed with the hide, and ease of replacement. We found a spot on one of the log sheets, and replaced as found. All good here, thanks for the adventure Nastyrangey

Tftc nasty rangey, unique container. Quick find. Didn't lay down but did have a sit to absorb the surroundings
Picking up a cache on my way to a treeclimb.

I have recently started to take videos of worthwhile caches... this cache fits that description...
Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky... it was a previous log that said something like “put the bouncy gps down, and look for the odd thing out...
Replaced the snap lock bag... and have a fave point too...

Amazing cache. Very creative.
8th find for the day with Angelagram. Thanks for the cache!

Found well this was like a Babushka doll one thing inside another inside another. That said it was a nice little walk type P&G. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
We used the early morning to go on a caching spree in our car - on a road where we normaly ride our motorbikes.
And to have the opportunity to take some photos of the spectacular views.
A fav point for the awesome cache!

Again, a most original container that blended in yet was a little quirky, spotted when using cache sense in lieu of bouncy GPS!
Really tricked us. Looked right at it and didn't see it at first. Great camouflage
Perfect spot for this cache and awesome construction of the container. Signed log and replaced as found. Tftc
Clan-mess and I walked all around this cache before realising where it was.
We located it and signed the log and placed it back for the next cacher.

I walked passed, down and around this cache before I realised I had parked closer to it than where I was standing. Oh well, back I go.
Cache was located quickly and the log signed.
A very clever cache.

Clever hidey hole and camouflage! Not quite sure WHAT we were going to pull out!!! Happy New Year & TFTC!
On my way out to mount Samson to collect a few caches today before the predicted poor weather arrives tomorrow. Another beautiful day in seq.
Found signed and returned safely.

As I walked over to GZ I immediately spied something delicious that I wanted to touch but these days I try to eliminate everything else first. There is nothing worse than finding the best place for a cache only to find it isn't there. It then becomes very hard to get away from it. I like to cache like the famous philosopher Frank N. Furter and enjoy the anticp..................ation.
Finally after ensuring I was going to be in the bush with a broken heart, I felt the first thing I spotted and found the hide.
I stood at the gate organising a screen shot of the cache to remember where I've been. After caching with my son recently he was abhorred that I would write the cache code down on paper and told me to get jiggy with it. He didn't use those words either. That is just my 1980's interpretation of whatever the kids call lame these days.
As I stood there looking at my phone (trying to work out how to use it) an almighty bang went off about a metre away from me that sent chills up my spine. A large branch had decided to fall from a fair height and the nervous shakes lasted for a time while I tried to work out what had happened. I went over to kick the branch for giving me an early halloween scare but it was just a branch and I was the scared idiot. tftc

First time geocaching. We were so close for a while and then found it. Finally! Thank You!
Well placed! Our first of hopefully many! Beautiful area. Loads of great birds.
Our last full day here on holiday.... been a fantastic 2 weeks in 4 different locations. We were recommended to try a couple of the walking trails up mt glorious (no caches to be had up there - bummer) - and now heading back to clear mountain - and grabbing a few caches along the way.
This is the lucky last one.... parked across the road and ran across to this - cheeky wee hide here - not a chance of being muggled.
Now it's time to have our last yummy dinner and an early night before heading back home. I've managed to collect 3 TB's to take home too which is great.
TFTC Nastyrangey- we will be back to do some more exploring in this area one day.

Hi there Nastyrangey - having arrived at our initial destination (Cashmere) via 'The Shortcut' our trip has gone into holiday mode so touring and Geocaching (to Dayboro today) are about the only thing on the agenda. This cache was a quick find and sign along the way before continuing our day trip. SL. This is our find #4756 - thanks to Nastyrangey for this cache.
Out with team Nelta. Went wrong direction at first look, came back and found it. TFTC
Out with team Nelta doing a lap of Clear Mountain caches. Stop 1. Coordinates good. Quickly found. Nice log. TFTC.
Spending Easter Sunday caching with Team Nelta. Geohubby found it rather quickly whilst I was following geodaughter heading in the wrong direction.
I am very keen to return here to go for a decent bush walk.

After a Saturday morning funeral at Albany Ck, I went for a little country drive as I don't get over this way too often and think the view from Clear Mountain is stunning.
This cache was a pleasant surprise. After heading for the wrong spot entirely, I looked around and spotted something suspicious. Sure enough, the cache was soon in hand.
All is good inside and out so TFTC.
PS I see I am the 200th finder of this cache so congratulations on creating a cache which has lasted so well!

So I was super lucky today to find myself given an early mark from work, so of course once I played taxi to my teen and his girlfriend, I had to use the rest of my spare time before school pickups doing the thing I am most hooked on! Headed out this way to grab a couple of smilies, and this was my very first stop.
Arriving at GZ I parked Mia and wandered over to a most likely spot. And very quickly secured myself a very very nicely camoed cache!
Thanks for the cache Nastyrangey.

Arrived at gz and found quite easily, only because we think along the line somewhere, like a good chinese whisper, it may have been placed back-to-front. So we turned it around to keep the excitement alive:)
There are tons of walking and bike trails out here, we'll give this one a miss as we like being on our bikes and we have have to follow the sign and give way to everyone here;) that's our excuse anyway:)
Left favourite point on track, cool cache, especially for your first cache!!!

Nice quick find, though I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to put glitter in all the caches along this road.
Haven't been caching for awhile...out in an adventure with Ls1patrol.
Our 2nd find for the day, great spot. Now planning to come back for a bush walk. Log signed. TFTC.

Out on a Monday caching day with Mrs Wombles and RhoBoCacher we were attempting to complete a few series and fill the area with smilies. We stopped to add our name to this one on our way past. Tftc Nastyrangey
Out with Mrs Wombles and Stortigirls and this was our 8th find for the day, I found this very quickly it was like it was calling my name ooooh I could go for a lay down too what a busy day we have had TFTC
