We had another long look but the cache is nowhere to be seen. Can't understand why it would go missing after being safely hidden here all this time with so many visitors. Perhaps someone wasn't being stealthy. Not going to replace it. Archived.
We had a look for this in the most obvious spot but couldn't find it. We went on & found another near by cache & decided to return for a second look.
This was just too clever for us today or maybe it has gone missing.
Thanks anyway Punga and Paua

Ewwwe great big daddy long legs. Found signed and left thank you. No sky dive for me.
On my way from Rotoroa to National Park.
I had to make a stop for a "quick" (it was anything but quick) skydive. The weather was way to good to just drive past this opportunity. It was nice, not great.

Thank you for this cache. Years ago I did a skydiving trip to this place and saw the pink plane again, memories memories.
Easy find and was expecting something else after a free fall from the sky.
Anyway TNLN SL
Cheers

Tänään ollaan nähty monta kaunista paikkaa ja kivoja kätköjä. Mukava ja helppo löytö. Käytiin samalla ihailemassa laskuvarjo hyppääjiä ja lentokoneita. TFTC Greetings from Finland.
One of a collection of 4 caches found near here. Parking no problem and no passing traffic whilst I did my business here.
Thanks

Found with renelm and Difool, logged as RAD to save log space, time and trees.
I am not much of a logwriter, so see renelms, and possibly Difools, log for details.

On way through taupo, nice spot! Never seen where sky divers land. No one jumping out this morning. Dropped TB off.
Went to find during the day but was far too busy area. Went back at night and had some fun finding it with a torch. Picked up a travel bug.

My mega NZ MEGA 2013 Trip!! Split into two halves - first, the journey up, and then the second half was the actual MEGA time.
This was the first half. I ended up deciding that the best way to travel up for the MEGA was by doing a rental relocation. Jucy had FAR too many cars in Chch that needed going to Auckland, and so with the pick of the crop I went for the 4WD... naturally, being a cacher, I knew this would come in handy!
They paid the vehicle on the ferry, paid the insurance, and gave me a free tank of gas as well as 5 days to get up to Auckland! What more could you want?!!
This was my 210th cache of the trip.
Sorry about the mostly copied logs - but otherwise I would still be logging till Christmas - and that's Christmas 2014 I mean! Haha.
A pretty empty spot when I came by - just before my dinner stop!

Quick find by Abbsters, together with a friend who was keen to give geocaching a try. Placed Green Jeep Travel Bug.
Watched the tandem skydivers coming down - there were lots today, so everyone was busy watching them and not me while I swoop in and got the cache. Been down to Taupo for the weekend visiting the Sika Show and getting a few caches on the way home. TFTC
Quick find while waiting for fish & chips. Busy time at the fishbox. Thanks for the cache.
Very quick drive by find in the twilight, cache was a little exposed so we tried to cover it up a bit better. Otherwise all good and dry TFTC!
Quick find by the geokids after first checking out an empty chip packet which was not the goecache. TFTC
Love the cache write-up!
Cache quickly spotted, recovered and signed ... and a little celebration for a special logging number.

Very quick find on way to take kids to Action World - TFTC - makes the holidays more interesting when you can introduce someone to geocaching and trapeze all in one day!
On tour around Rotorua and Taupo with family from Boston. Introducing to geocaching and our scenic areas. Kiwi turned US found this one. Getting the hang of it now.
Thanks Punga and Paua.
Thanks Punga and Paua.
Becsicasa and I decided to do a bit of a caching mission well outside of our area. We left Hamilton early Friday morning and hit the road, Destination: Wellington
Quickly found, although I think the car drew some looks from people in the nearby buildings. Glad the cache survived the fall, because there's no way in hell I'd try the nearby activity...

3 day weekend? I like the sound of that! What's even better? 3 DAYS OF CACHING!!!
Destination sorted (to Wellington and back again), the bags are packed, the travel bugs are ready to travel and the GPSr is ready to show us the way.
I'd love to come back here one day and take part in this awesome activity. Nice little hide.
#12 for the day, 64 total for the weekend with a total of 1250 kms.
