Sorry to say I don't think this one is going to be re-enabled. High muggle zone.
Well sort of. For Duffy anyway.

Just checked today and it seems that Duffy is lost. Again.
I may need to pick a new location. Or possibly persist just a bit more?
I'll check back soon.

Wet and rainy day but satellite reception was good. Hint gelled with gps reading so I either have severe cache blindness or it may be missing.
A quick sneak in between cars coming and going from the shops and I was able to retrieve sign and return the cache. Thanks.
A quick find once the coast was clear. The rain kept the muggles indoors. TFTC

Nice hide TFTC!
When we were retrieving the geocache, there was an old lady who looked really confused at us. As we were putting it back she came back and looked even more confused. This was her look:[?]. NO! Not Literally!

Ta,

This was a nice quick drive up and find - though as Jezza10 said we worried at least one of the locals with our strange behaviour.

A nice little hide with a great container.
It was getting late whe I grabbed this one and there were no muggles to bar the way.

It was a very easy find on a morning when not many muggles were around. Cool container. Thanks.
Well we parked in the wrong spot, 300ms away when we could have parked like less then 10. T-rex 05 went for a bit of a sixer after retrieving the cache, but recovered and now onto the next one. just putting out there could someone make a cache called 'up the duff' out here somewhere... just seems appropriate . TFTC!
As Fraggles mentioned, we parked in the wrong spot, but it was a nice walk over. We kept a lookout as we sent the geokid in to fetch the cache. He was a bit excited after finding it, and in his haste slipped over onto his back. Onwards on off to another hill. TFTC
I found the cache, but then I slipped over. It hurt a bit, but they picked me up and then I sat on a rock to open the cache. It was only a little one. I then made sure I put it back in exactly the same place I found it. Thank you for the cache.
#4239 Did this cache with Bega-Gang as part of a 2 day trek around Canberra. this one was very easy as the cache was positioned very low. Its now sitting alot higher.
Thanks
Thanks
This was our first geocache! We rode our bikes to find it with our friend Marshall. It was pretty fun and I liked it.

Our GPS went as bit wonky around here but eventually located the cache, followed by a nice ice cream to celebrate. TFTC
A nice quick find towards the end of the caching afternoon. A logical place to search and there it was . Cheers and thanks for the cache 2 Leg Drive!
A nice quick find with the company of Everlasting and Alchemy2. Thanks for the hunt and the cache.
Thanks 2 Leg Drive - a good find to ease back into geocaching after a year's absence.
Whoot - after a DNF earlier on in the year, we saw this one pop back online and decided to grab it on the way to dinner

I finally found a new and suitable container today, printed up a new log, attached a magnet and placed it back in its hiding spot.
I hope it stays around for awhile again.

Hmm, not sure what happened here - we came, we looked, we looked some more, we checked the hint, we looked again but no cache did we spy.
No luck at all, but the water from the supermarket was very cold and very cheap

We think we were definately looking in the right place, it matched the hint perfectly but no cache. It may have been muggled. 2 leg drive, please check it out when you can.

A quick easy find as we saw it from the road on the way in. Gigglygecko was sprung with cache in hand by a gentleman who needed to access the host but he was smiling so we reckon he had seen this strange behaviour before. TFTC

Gotta love it when you arrive at GZ and the muggle that's hanging around decides to leave just as you pull up Got the cache pretty quickly. TFTC.
This was our first find, it took us three attempts to find this, it wasn't because it was difficult to find, it was because our Garmin unit kept navigating us to the Duffy Primary school playground (150m away). I suspected that the unit was incorrect but how could I prove it. I finally worked out how to default the settings on the Garmin and bingo the coordinates took us straight to it. Cool, now we can go find the other four caches that we failed to find.
cheers

Love this one - so simple for a change instead of walk the hills.... SMILE... SL. Thanks 2 leg drive for organising the cache and hunt.
I like this hide, nice and simple and under the muggles noses.
Brilliant.

Cache No.12 out of 30 for the day. Very easy find, could see it as we walked up to it. Putting it back was a differant matter due to the number of people around. TFTC
Very little stealth required today, due to the public holiday and the weather, I think. All the better for sneakily uncovering caches!
Great hide - thanks!

My last afternoon off work so I decided to spend it caching with Sara. We picked this area as it was one which had plenty of traditionals that we both hadn't done, and with limited to we set ourselves the target of 10 in two hours (yes, we cache slowly!). Two finds in a row - we are stocked.
Easy find, which is exactly what RatPack and I wanted for our limited time searching for as many as possible. Thanks...
Quick and easy find with the added advantage of the shop

Grandma Grandad and the two girls logged this as our second Cache find. I joined Groundspeak some time ago and have promised the Grandaughters a day of cache hunting for the pas few school holidays.
With much excitement it all came together today. Thanks to all who have taken the trouble to place this and other Caches.

Nice easy find - first cache for me in a little over a year. Left LadyDingo behind and took dingoPup - who turned 1 y.o. a few days ago....
This was dingoPups first find and he is already VERY excited by the idea - didn't have any swaps small enough; but dingoPup loved looking at the solider and lizard whle I was doing the log.
Not much muggle action - nice stroll from home. Picture o.f a happy dingoPup to be uploaded later

Found very quickly (after the car parked right in front of it with the engine running, lights shining on the location and driver waiting inside had left). Retrieved a GC.

Found this one with Rubai, and linFox.
After a rather short search we found the cache, and sat down to log it. We considered stopping here for lunch but decided to continue on to the next cache.
Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.

#188: A quick hide not too far away from the car. Some of these local shops on the southside look a bit underused than the one we are used to on the northside.
The family was visiting friends who live in Duffy. So whilst the house was alseep, Tbone and I set off at dawn to bag the cache. Well it is certainly muggle free that time of the morning and as quick as a flash we had the cache in hand.

A little steath was required with this cache today with my mate. Drove up and noticed when gz was. Out came the store owner and we had to wait until he had finished filling some boxes in a customers car. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1500. A quick find for a Canberra cache. Not on a hill? Friends of ours used to live in Eucumbene Drive, but their house was one of the lucky survivors. The log is nice and dry. TNLN. Our thanks to 2 leg drive, and for all the information about Duffy and the street names.
The log has been replaced and I have put it in a clear plastic tube. So hopefully it is water proof now
I will scan the old log and place the photo in the gallery so all can see the log notos.
Good luck hunting.

Thanks for the cache 2 leg drive. This seems like a perfect spot for a cache. It surprised me that given the location, the cache and the log sheet is actually quite damp.
Rain? It never rains in Canberra.....
This has happened before. The log getting wet that is. I have some clear plastic tubes that I intend to put the log in. I will do that in the next couple of days

My last cache for the day as the sun was setting (& it was darn cold!). This proved to be a nice easy cache to end, but when I retrieved the cache, the container was half full of water. Fortunately the plastic bag had kept the log sheet relatively dry (albeit wet on one corner & torn on the folds). I tipped out the water, but was unable to fully dry the interior of the cache. When I replaced it, I left it away from the brick wall - I think the rain had run down the bricks & penetrated the cache.

Dodging muggles as these shops were actually open this morning however a quick retrieval in between shoppers, signed in the car whilst the dogs whined (they sense a run is imminent) then slipped it back into it's possy. TFTC.
The boys and I took a little while to find this one. We didn't look well enough the first time.
nearby shops and playground were both enjoyed by all. Had to dodge a few muggles too.

A nice classic hide in a very easy location, these small neighbor hood shops are really great. This was quick to find, log and leave. Shame about the local hoon smoking his tires nearby, especially when there are kids playing nearby, there's never a rock in reach when you really want one.[:(!]

A well timed cache for us as we needed some supplies nearby. We found the goods and penciled the page mid afternoon. Thanks to 2 leg drive for the hide.
Geokids were impressed with this being so close to the shops.
Had to but ice creams after the sucessful find.

Nice easy find, no muggles around here today, so no worries. Thank you for the cache.
Nice hide for a very urban location. The locals have taught you, you ol' caching dog, some new tricks. Sorry we didn't drop in to your place around the corner, but it was late, we were on a cache run and I had Webby with me - I didn't want to scare your wife and son.
its has a reasonable amount of people coming and going so had to be a bit stealthy, but easily found..
Took geocoin.
note only saw 1 coin in container
thanks

Did after dark to avoid muggles, although a little nervous about being caught snooping about the shops after hours...Luckily an easy find. Thanks.
Quick ride up to the shops solved this one. Things a little damp which was suprising. Thanks for the cache. ZZ7
I needed some supplies for lunch, so it was very handy to have a cache to show me where the shops were. Always have a problem with that in Canberra.
A nice hide for a busy location.
Thanks, Robmc.

Day 255 of non-stop caching.
Decided to kill some time geocaching with a friend before the next uni lecture. Picked a direction and drove, looking up the nearby caches on the way. Easy to find. Took a while to return the cache due to some muggles.
#468 - quick find. The new homes stand out in stark contrast to the old, and the empty blocks are a telling sign of the grim past.

Picked up MadAz for a few finds as she is just starting out in the caching comunity, and hought we woud head to duffy for a few quick finds in the cool of the evening after a hot weekend and me sillily deciding to play cricket on the Saturday.
Pulled up in the car Park, MadAz layed on the ground to look under and around some rocks, funny to watch.
I read the hint and we found it quiet easily afer that, took the cach e back to the car and SL.

For all that are curious the magnet is from the back of an old Audio speaker. I think it was from a PA system.... A good source of magnets
