Found this while looking for another cache!!!!!

Found while out with geofriend doing the Oz Mega series. TFTC even if archived but interesting to find.

I grabbed this one off my old listings while in Perth
Hadn't realized it had been archived
I finally got the container out of it's wedged position and put it back not knowing it had crept from where ever it was intended
The log was saturated to a point that I couldn't write on it after several attempts
The container and it's contents are still there though.

When I went to the cache today, I found it had cache crept, and was wedged inside the tree, unable to move, so this cache will need to be archived.

Swung past but no dice - people everywhere.
I'll come back one evening

Visited today, this cache needs loads of maintenance.

What a dark hotel - all rooms were wet. No wonder even the bugs left ... Last guest was a coin we rescued from the place. Hotel is completely drowned, management should take better care of it.

Successful find with nephew altho he had to practise his climbing skills. Was very wet inside and out. Tried to dry it out a bit. TFTC

Looked Hugh and low and high and then settled on low again. Found it eventually. Cache had some water it in my was more or less ok. Left the Geocoin that I rescued from the fire damaged cache in Bayswayer. TFTC

Quick and easy find with my muggle friend who was astounded by the whole concept! Log book pretty damp, may need replacing. TFTF

lots of muggles hanging around so took a little stealth to reach it. In the end I dragged it out of a muddy hole and got all down the front of my shirt. The inside was wet as well so took it back to the bus for a cleanup and dry out. No coins here today.

Didn't find this one, but GPSr was jumping around a bit & telling me it needed new batteries. Looked in a few holes where I thought it might be and saw some little eyes peering back at me.

Yes, Sir, yes. For the anxiety, we have attracted the attention of the Garden Superintendent, Andrew! He came for an explanation and we explained – it’s a global treasure hunt activity we are engaging in. We had apologized for the intrusion we made in his park. But, nice a Superintendent he is he had said, “Go ahead and bash around. I wouldn’t mindâ€. In fact he joined in the bashing to hunt for the cache but to no avail until suddenly Dark Energy shouted “Found Itâ€. To cut a long story short we were all happy to have found the cache. There you go. If anytime in the future a geocacher has trouble finding this cache, look around for the assistance of the Garden Superintendent! TFTH, Aus-Extreme.

Took us a while to find this one... till we looked in the obvious place!

We are here from California for a month visiting our daughter who married an Aussie and now lives in Beeliar. I made this find while Mom and daughter were shopping nearby. Great area and thanks for the cache.

WOW I was quite suprised this was still here as I could see the cache from the roadside where I parked the car, I quickly grabbed it signed the log and replaced in a more hidden spot on the same ummm thing (sorry just don't want to give up the hide) just around the other side in a deeper recess. hope thats OK, It could do with a black bag to camo it a bit better. 1608 - Work trip in WA with time to cache....

A second attempt on this one for me. Last time was a wet day with muggles sheltering nearby. This time the coast was clear so it was a quick find.

We had some Geocoins we picked up in the Kimberleys we wanted to drop off in Perth. This cache sounded perfect for the job. Unfortunately, we deemed it unsuitable as it does not look save enough. We would not risk our fellow geocacher's beloved geocoins in there. Aus-Extreme, contact me if you want a more detailed feedback on this cache. Left nothing.

Stopped off here earlyish in the day 7.55am. Squawking birds announced I was up to no good. There were no geocoins to collect, but I dropped in a sheepish geocoin to be moved along. TFTC.

The coordinates landed us in a whole lot of bushy vegetation but luckily there wasn't too much scrabbling around! Not too many muggles around either. TFTH

Found whilst night caching with Shael6636. An easy find, although damp log and cache. TFTC!

Have spent plenty of time at the retail end of Bayview Terrace but never before ventured up this end. All quiet on this Saturday morning so had no problem locating cache.

The coordinates put us on the edge of the plant material but we decided there was a better place to look. We found it easily and retrieved a Geocoin"Geocaching Australia 2006" We will release it as soon as we can find a suitable place to put it.
This is muggle city even on a Sunday.
This was our only cache for the day and a nice location for relaxing afternoon if it wasnt raining.

Water gets in this container. Suggest 200 ml sistema. I dried the logs, citoed the cachers cards and placed the cache in a press seal bag. This will be OK for awhile.

Another DNF wiped out. New coords are better as I would not have looked there otherwise. No sputnik coin present. Dropped Medusa coin. t4tc

Happily the wild wind and rain kept people away from the park today, so was able to extract the cache without muggle interference. I would expect that this area would be muggle heaven most days normally. TNLN Thanks for the hunt, Aus_Extreme.

Nice little park, I sat and watched a man throwing Boomerangs around the park, it appears he had quite a collection and was trying them all out. Found the cache in the first place I looked, signed the log and dipped my Brahean geocoin in for a visit before grabbing it back.

[Australian Branch] Our co-ords were a bit off, but obvious spot anyway.

A good hide, but as others have mentioned, you need to be looking in logical spots rather than taking the co-ords as gospel.

My GPS shows the position in the middle of the lawn with no obvious hiding place. Will have to look at the recent logs.

This gave me a lot of heartache. Lucky I had my netbook with me or I would have given up. I had to read the other logs which told me the coords were a bit out and to use common sense. Quite a tricky grab too at 3.15 when schools finishes and all the kids are waiting for the bus right next to gz. But I am sure that they didn't give me a second glance as I seemed to be texting just like the rest of them.

Found on walk from Perth CBD to Freo although I didn't have any coins with me at the time, will return and place some on another visit to WA. Agree that the GPS co-ords (or coverage) may be a bit off, but a logical hide once I switched on the common sense machine. TNLNSL TFTC

Middle of the lawn ?? Loads of lunchtime muggles, will try again

A bit like Ozcrawf... I trusted my instict rather than the GPS and was able to Harvest this one fairly quickly. There were no coins in the cache but hey... That's ok with me. Noticed some groovy bean bags for sale at a nearby shop and decided we would grab a couple to put by the pool at home... that is until we saw the price tag. TFTC

The GPS was leading me in the wrong direction so decided to trust my instincts and found without too much trouble. TNLN. TFTH.

Quick find and log, as there were lots of muggles about. But put them off by taking lots of photos around GZ.

Re-visited to drop off Help For Heroes Geocoin.

Picked up Biffa's London Eye GC and the Yellow Brick Road Kansas GC.

WanderingAus wandered by on a pretty hot day, wandered around the park for a while following the dancing arrow, and finally made a GAFF 1 find.

My find No 1139, LCC, TNLNSL, grabbed Matt's Gold Symbology GC (ref = TB1TBDE), dropped Amy's Adventure GC (ref = TB1TDMR), also dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

STF beaten by a short time have to set the alarm a bit earlier next time,our GPS had us out by 25m and we had to look in all the likely places before finding it
